Hizaki just announced an upcoming solo live (February 16) where he will be selling a new single "Queen of the Night." However, the single is merely being sold in advance (先行販売), so it should hit the usual stores sometime after that.

    B'LAIVE 1st mini album "B'LAIVE" release

Vocalist is Jekyll (ex-ATRUS), kamite guitarist is Dai (ex-Oneness). Shimote guitarist is Karen (ex-ashley). This feels really weird cos they seem like a totally diff band without Yoh, but I guess i'll follow cos i'm a huge fan of Jekyll. I'm fine with autotune but I'd rather hear Jekyll's real voice cos he has really nice vocals.

been debating for a long time if i should show myself here or not but i trimmed my hair yesterday and felt pretty happy about myself so hi i miss my longer hair tho. this was me from a year ago. i was thinking about growing it out like yusuke koba's mane but having to tie it up at work made me feel more girly so i've been going back to shorter hairstyles

    Dir en grey

So who all listens to Dir en grey? I'm pretty sure everyone has or does. When I was getting into j-rock, I first started off on Dir en grey as well, "-saku-" was the song that caught my attention, back when I thought I was hardcore. I like Dir en grey, but they're definately not my favorite. They did do an amazing live though. What does everyone else think of Dir en grey?

Welcome to the official tutorial to create a Japanese iTunes account! Before you get started, make sure you have all of the following: ✅ An E-mail Address That Is Not Registered To An iTunes Account Something like Gmail, Yahoo, etc. I would not recommend that you attempt to use your iCloud e-mail address (if you have one). ✅ A Valid Japanese Billing Address From what I’ve read around, iTunes requires a valid Japanese billing address and they have a system that will check. While it’s probably against Apple’s terms of service, you can use public/business addresses. One user used J-list’s business address, for another account of mine, I used my Tenso mailbox. You could probably even use a Japanese Apple Store location. ✅ A Japanese Phone Number Requirement is debatable. Some people have claimed that they have used their own (non-Japanese) phone numbers, others have claimed to use a random string of numbers, or a 01 2345 6789 sequence… do whatever works! ✅ Japanese iTunes Gift Card I highly recommend that you use Japan Codes, because their cards are the cheapest, and they have a wide selection of cards for other stores, such as レコチョク. I also recommend OffGamers.com if you have multiple iTunes store accounts from many different countries. I use OffGamers to get cards for my UK iTunes account. One thing to keep in mind about gift code shops: Every single one of these shops claim to send out gift codes immediately. Some shops live up to this promise... sometimes. It really depends. Sometimes one shop will send out codes instantly, other times that same shop may make you wait a few days. Now that you have everything on that checklist, let’s get started… Open up iTunes and go to iTunes Store. If you’re logged into an iTunes account already, then log out. Then, scroll all the way down to the store homepage, and click on the flag in the bottom corner. It will take you to the region select page. When you're on the region select page, look for the Japanese flag and click it. Now you’re in the Japanese iTunes store. Some computers may display the store in Japanese. If that’s the case, then... 続ける = continue キャンセル = cancel 戻る = back 同意する = agree Click the Sign In button, then click the Create Apple ID button. You’ll get some Welcome to iTunes screen. Click Continue. Then there will be a Terms and Conditions page, check the box at the bottom, and click the agree button. Now, let’s enter some basic account information: Here’s where we begin to have some fun! Many people have trouble with this part. Don’t worry, you actually can skip the Payment Type part with all the credit cards, and just enter your gift card code below that. Enter the Billing address. I used From Japan’s headquarters in the picture above, and you could probably get away with using it, too. Click Create Apple ID and buy some Japanese music! Feel free to PM me with any questions or feedback.

Naaah, I'm good with who I am. I love Japanese culture and music and I really am missing Japan very much, but, to be honest every country, culture, person has their own positive and negative things so, instead of wishing to be something/someone else, I'd rather stick with myself. Yeah, I would love to live there again, as a foreigner though. To me, it seemed easier to live in Japan as an "outsider" rather than a Japanese person. Maybe it was because I could get away without being judged for everything and without people being too awkward around me. Not all of the Japanese people are narrow-minded and stuff, but to the core they still give that kind of awkward vibe. Maybe it's just me, obviously I've yet to meet all the Japanese people on this planet, but from my short experience of one year in Japan this is what I came with. Not to take Japan's side, but we all have our narrow-minded side, because really, it's kind of natural to think about something that you haven't seen/experience before as "weird". The people I met in Japan who were Japanese they were very welcoming and open to new cultures and new views. Even the people I worked with and met while being a part-timer at a traditional restaurant were super nice, even though I stood out a lot and would make way too many mistakes haha XD. But, in the end, we all have different experiences of the Japanese culture. I've talked with people who had it worse than me and I felt really awful hearing stories like that and at one point I would feel kind of labeled as the "innocent mascot gaijin", but I tried to see the positive things in everything. Or I may just be lucky enough to encounter nice people.

thank you very much to @emmnyfor alerting me to this clownery In a bizarre PR move, tensai. member Karuto will bike (as in, on a bicycle, not a motorbike) from Osaka to Tokyo to promote their free one-man at Ikebukuro Black Hole on 12/11. His journey will begin at noon on December 1st from Like an Edison Osaka. There are various rules and stipulations, the first involving how much money he'll be taking with him. His credit cards will be confiscated, and he will be given 10 yen x the amount of retweets that the embedded tweet receives. At the time of posting, that's about ~16,000 yen. [Rules] ①He must arrive at the goal within 7 days of departure. ②He will be given missions to earn money during his trip. ③He will distribute tickets for their show to fans he meets along the way. ④Money will be taken from him if he neglects to tweet before he goes to bed. ⑤He must visit designated stops. ⑥Their "super roadie" Yuuma will be sent with him as part of his roadie hazing on guard duty.

Haha I guess. Most people I know who've been in VK were converted by me sooo. I've kind of shifted out of vk in the past few years but I still meet people who used to be vk fans at one point in their lives. I've worked with exchange students from Japan and some of them have been casual vk fans.

Effects can be completely different with everyone. As for me it has gotten my life a lot easier! :"D Pretty much no pain at all, shark week has lessened to (at most) three days, no mood swings etc. Plus nowaways I use pills so that shark week happens only six times/year. You will notice the lasting affects after about a year of using, the first three months at least might show stuff that may not stick with the rest of time. Like I said, it's different for everyone. All I can say that try using this specific pill for ~3 months or more before you try changing it to other one. Different pills might have different affects. Affect... Effect :x

The Nu metal 00's in Visual kei

I know this topic is pretty much dead, but I thought I'd mention a band no one has brought up. Most of us probably know these guys. Cuartet. They were Climax Enterprise's flagship band, and kind of represented the transition period between 90's and 2000's vkei. Before that, there was sort of an industrial-influenced sound mixed with a little punk being seen in bands like Gill'e Cadith and some of Kagerou, which then would be emulated in The GazettE and Cuartet (which, I'm sure we know are connected due to Saki and Ruki having a band together, and initially being produced by the same guy). During this early era, many bands were mixing sounds together, and Cuartet, being the Dir en Grey and Kagerou stans they are, kind of went into a Nu-Metal sound, but still keeping a bit of the post-punk and thrash metal influence the 90's had. In some songs, it even sort was more of a groove-metal sound, giving vibes similar to Machine Head. Though I'm not sure whether that's coincidental, or on purpose. I wish I could find more bands like Cuartet. So far, only Etcetera comes to mind, but they're way less Nu Metal. Also while Saki isn't the best vocalist, he carries a tune way better than Yukika did, and there weren't any audible deep breaths. I seriously need more early 2000's Nu-Metal Transition-Kei. It seems as if transition-kei that ISN'T Nu Metal is much easier to find. Saki continued with the Nu-Metal schtick, though I haven't listened to his current band enough to know whether he's still doing it, or progressed onto core.

    [BAND BATTLE] VISTLIP VS UNITE.

I had the same experience! I saw them 3 times because they did a tour with lynch. and SuG. I had no desire to see SuG but they were, to my surprise, much more fun to watch than vistlip, who I was originally mildly excited for... Tomo's lack of presence dragged vistlip down a lot for me. Yuh, Umi, and Tohya were fun to watch, but Tomo didn't give off any energy at all. It was too bad...

Amazing, I'm already excited. Yes, his most recent solo album was quite impressive. I just love the air of the title of this single.

Wait what? Dir en grey and Kagerou were both around long before The Gazette. I think you have it backwards... Honestly this song is one of the better debut tracks I've heard in quite awhile. Not a fan of the screamo vocals in the middle personally, but it wasn't the worst I've ever heard and everything else was pretty good.

My newest translation is from one of the best songs by Grieva (I still can't believe that they will disband), because of its peculiar style, really different from what they accustomed us to. I hope that you like it. 強く生きるよ いつでも隣に 君がいる気がするから Romaji: Sangatsu nanoka no asa kimi wa sora e ochite shimatta ne… kimi wa itsumo egao de tsurai kokoro kakushiteita no? Mou sugu kimi no moto e yuku ne fushigi to kowaku wa nai yo kimi ga inai sekai de ikiru imi o miidasenai kara. Moshimo kimi no sono kanashimi ni kidzuku koto ga dekita no naraba… Sotto me o tojireba boku o yobu kimi no koe ga kikoete kite futari te o tsunaide aruita ano kaerimichi ga kowaresou na hodo tsurai Moshimo kimi no sono kanashimi ni kidzuku koto ga dekita no naraba… sonna koto o kangaetemo mou kimi wa modoranai… Asu kimi no moto e to yuku to kimeta yoru no koto kimi no heya no tsukue no sumi no nikki sotto naka o mite miru to boku e ateta kotoba ga “douka, atashi no bun mo anata wa ikite kudasai. itsumo itsumo wagamama bakari itte hontou ni gomen ne, demo saigo no wagamama o kiite…” Arigatou… gomen ne… tsuyoku ikiru yo itsu demo tonari ni kimi ga iru kigasuru kara. Translation: The morning of 7th March You fell in the sky You always smile Did you hide a painful heart? Soon I will go to your place I am not afraid of it In a world where you are not there I can’t find the meaning of life. If it is your sorrow… If you can notice it… If I softly close my eyes Your voice is calling me You can hear it Hand in hand We walk in the way home It’s so hard to break. If it is your sorrow… If you can notice it… Even if I think about it You won’t return anymore… Tomorrow I will come to you In the night when I decided to go In your room A diary in the corner of your desk When I gently looked at it The words addressed to me were: “Please, please live even for me. I am sorry if I always say the best But you are listening to my last moment…” Thanks… Sorry… I will live strongly Always closer Because I feel like you are there. Family planning and the lack of it

I'm going to buck the trend in this topic and say I do! But not right now. I never thought to ask my girlfriend if she wanted kids, partially because I didn't want them now either and partially because I just expected her to. The latter part sounds messed up, but I can't do it alone. If I could, this would be a totally different conversation. It's always been "we'll cross that bridge when we get to it", but bridges are euphemisms for problems so at some level, I view childbearing as a problem too. So I guess I fit in here enough to ramble for a bit longer. The reasons I have for that aren't unique. I'm depressed and probably have an undiagnosed mental illness I'd pass on to my children. The world sucks. I don't want to wake up one day and hear the news that my child was killed for being black. I like video games too much. I'd have to be responsible with my weed usage. I like having money for things instead of money for diapers and formula. My opinions on most of these things may change with time and that's why I can't say no. @The Bread Wolf, maybe the doctors are approaching your problem the way I approach mine and are just deciding for you that in the future you may change your mind and so they don't want to do an invasive procedure now. That's fucked. But as you said, people have far more invasive surgeries for less developed reasons, so the docs should just respect your wishes. And if passing on your genetics isn't of importance to you, you can always adopt or raise fur babies if you change your mind. I believe one can fulfill the need to be a caretaker without having to have babies. I don't think the concept of not wanting to have kids is unusual. Starting with the toll it takes on the woman's body, coming to the realization that birth is really just the beginning, and then shouldering the responsibility of having to raise another human being is a lot. My friend is having a(n unplanned) child and when he told me, it hit me. I started thinking about all the things I'd have to do and how much my life would change, and it was a daunting realization. I can't imagine the thoughts that go through a woman's head, but one thought that won't leave my head is how lucky I am that I won't ever have to push a cantaloupe out of my pelvis. Maybe the cognitive burden would be less if women didn't feel forced into having a baby (but I'd blame biology before society on that one). If you can come to that realization now, and determine your life is better without a kid than with a kid now and into the immediate future, than more power to you! On a more global note, I think our generation not wanting to procreate en masse isn't a bad thing. We don't have the resources to sustain our current population as is; the last thing we need to do is double it. Honestly, the only argument I have for you having kids is to power the next generation of visual kei fans. Get them while they're young, I always say.

Sakitooooo! SniF for some reason this new made me smile and feel happy, I think he has become "himself" and express himself more since he started this solo proyect. I read reports of the lives sakito did and apparently he seemed more relax and happier. I don´t know how true that is but for all the crazy comming and goins he does to be in all the events he plans in seems to me Sakito is truly trying hard and enjoing himself too. Well I think it would benatural if there is some kind of rivalery between them and their solo projects, but I think they are all still trying to support each other, resently sakito posted a picture with hitsugi and hitsugi also went to sakito birthday live and brought him a cake on satage and ni-ya sang (and broke ears) happy birthday. They all seem to still respect each other and support each other. or atleast for me. Ruka was allways the one that would be kind of aloof. I remember than in allot of dvds or videos Ruka would always arrive by himself on a taxi or in his own car (he has expensive cars) While the rest alot of times would arrive in a van together like alot of memebers of japanes bands drove by a staff memeber in charge of picking them up. and in some of the afther parties Ruka eat with other people and not with them. But they did had fun together. They didn´t invented the hand elephant aloneXD I think right now they all had to much of something good(like eating your favorit scream until you get sick), and need a rest from each oother, like the song says, everyone need a little time away, and then they will come back for their 20th aniversary. Yomi might not make as many lives for his throat condicion, studio recording recuires less efort than live (I´ve on singig lessons for years already) they would take the nightmare official web from their advertisments if they didn´t wanted people to still know about them and nightmare. I just hope stargazer is a lovely son like world end and the song that sakito wrote and compossed for nightmare like simple life and jibun no hana. p.d: I want to know sakito skin care I want to look as young as he does at age 32 when I reach 32 in 12 years. p.d 2: and by the way... I´m newXD
