Yo peeps. I wanted to talk about an issue that's very dear to my heart, and that's called planning a family, or a lack of it. Just like the title says. At my age, most women (and possibly also men) are, if not already totally at it, at least planning for their own family. You know. Husband, kids, golden retriever, stuff like that. Most women have silently agreed to have children, even if they don't particularly want them, just because society thinks they should. I stand at the other side of the whole concept: I don't want kids. Ever. I've been told ever since I was a tot that I'll change my mind and when I'm older I'll understand the need to have children. Bitch, I'm older now and still don't want any. In fact, I would gladly have my tubes tied into one hell of a knot to ever avoid even considering the idea that I might be with a child. The idea of pregnancy scares me. The idea of childbirth scares me. I don't like kids. I don't think babies are cute, not in the least. In fact, I believe children up to the age of 10 are, at best, a bore, and at worst, horrible spawns of satan I want nowhere near me. And yet, medical specialists argue I'm too young (nearing 30 here) to decide if I want kids or not, so they won't perform a sterilisation. Yo, people can decide on a sex correction surgery once they turn 18 but I'm not old enough to know I hate kids and don't want any. And I'm not saying this to mock anyone or say that transgender people shouldn't have the option to do that, but just that both are a part of body autonomy that I think one should have the right to rule over after a certain age. Are there other people who feel the same way as I do? Ladies and gents who just don't want kids, no matter what? Or people who want them but can't have them? Tell me your thoughts and give us some peer support.

-for a request- Lyrics: Chizuru Music: Minpha Kanji and romaji available at peffy's blog English: Sparklers I lost words at the all too sudden notice My quivering voice over the receiver The motionless time and the back of my craving eyes Harboring this powerlessness, it was the end of summer You'll go so far away, I won't be able to reach you with my hands Look, the last flicker has fallen No matter how much I yell in regret for the time we lost Ahh, you are no longer here These sparklers, flickering, along with the wind The light of a too short life, disperses in the night sky dolefully Since then, in the seasons that repeated many times over I gave you these feelings, in the summer wind On that day, you gazed at me as you left What were you trying to tell me with those eyes? I listened until the end, to your voice even now I remember, with your thin voice "Hey, aren't the fireworks beautiful? I wish it would never end." I was always searching for an answer The fireworks that bloom this year, tightens my chest in pain Look, are you watching even now? As we grow older, our memories become distant I'll think of you and light this fire Short and fleeting, the last light disperses Don't disappear, don't disappear, just a little longer These sparklers, flickering, along with the wind The light of a too short life, disperses in the night sky dolefully These sparklers, this song I send to you It'll be okay. Because it blooms inside of me beautifully Since then, in the seasons that repeated many times over You began to bloom, in the summer's sky ----------------------------------- Translated by me. Corrections and suggestions are much welcomed~ Enjoy! ^^

Family planning and the lack of it

Mid-thirties here and still don't want kids, or even a serious relationship, tbh. Everyone in my family looks at me like I'm an alien because I don't give a shit about marriage or children. I also get tired of people insinuating I'm selfish for not wanting children, like living my life for myself is a bad thing. The world is scary, not to mention over populated as it is. I don't feel compelled to add to it.

The fan polls closed a long time ago. The final song count is 44, and of those 44 songs, three of them are re-recorded. The rest are remastered by the band, which means they’ll probably be thrown against a brick wall. http://kyotakumrau.tumblr.com/post/166276992292/best-albumvestige-of-scratches-201812

Again, thanks for fulfilling my request! This is my favorite song of theirs, and I'm glad the lyrics are as lovely as the song. The parallel between the fleeting memories of their relationship with the duration of the sparklers, and how it reminded him of those moments is so beautiful.

I'm a fan for 8-8,5 years now and yes Yugiri's voice has improved. Still, I admit, his voice can still be a bit annoying/bad but music is fun, band is fun, lives are fun so I'm okay with that! Two years ago I said to myself it would be amazing if I could be there for their 10th anniversary and there I stood on June 5th in the Tokyo Dome City Hall, I made it! It was a live I will never forget! My shoppingservice already ordered it, a little bit pricey but worth it! Let's say it's gonna be a birthday gift from myself to myself or something xD

Hello! I hope I am posting this is the right thread, I apologize if not. Chaotic Harmony is starting a new video series where people can get to know the bands better! Our first video in the series will feature DatuRΛ! To participate, just send in questions in English in reply to this pos, DM on social media, or e-mail them to [email protected]! We can't guarantee that the band will be able to answer all of the questions they receive. It may take a few weeks for the band to record the video and our staff to subtitle it, so we greatly appreciate your patience! We'll post the video to our YouTube channel once it's ready to go. We plan to do these videos regularly, so we hope to be able to feature some of your favorite artists, or help you get to know some new ones!

That's true, it seems a bit late now... Thank you, that would be amazing! <3 I really hope it will be possible! haha that's fun tho. I remember the dance was easy but I never took the time to learn it properly. I'll do it before the next tour for sure, just to remember the good ol' days (maybe we could dance around together too) xD

After Macabre and wtd I would say there will be at least one documentary DVD - they filmed so much outside venues, even interviewing fans at some shows, it would be a waste not to use it in someway. And let's dream big - a Budokan closing with the best of album on the last DVD. @pedro217I think he said somewhere that he can play one song without taping his fingers, so there is improvement.

most of my social circle (age 20 - early 40s) is decidedly against procreation, however, at least two friends have ended up with partners w. children from their previous relationships. I know I can't do this, I can not stand children even if they like me and somehow know how to behave around me. omg trust me one day instagram explore will show you flocks of "proud singwle gay dads", it's...something that has been bothering me for a very long time. I weep for their offspring.

So I didn't get moved over to the department I wanted because of recent sick issues that are no longer a problem because of getting my health sorted aka pulled out 6 bad teeth and getting the rest treated. But instead of letting it get to me I've decided to embrace it and be the stronger person in this situation. I've just got to remain motivated and focused!

I'd say 50 % of them I really hope they'll come again to Europe soon, but I don't have much hope....their new album has been in stores since Febuary, so I think they would've announced one already If there's one in Germany again, you just have to come over to my place and we'll see them together btw: I can still do the dance to natsu koi natsu game. This has been sooo long ago. I only felt a bit stupid doing it while doing housework the other day haha. I'm a grandma caffekko already.

I guess it shouldn't be surprising after 10 years of extensive touring, but Yugiri's live vocals have improved a looot since the old CROSSTRIP days. I remember DaizyStripper being one of the first VK bands I tried listening to around the time of Dearest I think, I was amused by their name; now look how far they've made it! Unfortunately I really don't have the spare cash to throw at this right now though...

Honestly, I found quite an unhealthy way to adjust. I just immersed myself in online games, tbh in school I got bullied a lot at the start for being foreign , so it was great escapism. Some healthy ways I can recommend are looking for clubs you can join. If you're not in school, look for volunteer work. I found that volunteering opportunities mainly attract foreigners who are in the same boat as you. I think after a certain age, making friends is hard no matter who you're interacting with. So just persevere and keep in mind that they might be feeling the same as you ("making friends is so hard"). In case you're too busy to volunteer, just look for events you can go to. It's so discouraging, but try not to isolate yourself from the country you're in. I know people who just find small communities from their country abroad and completely separate themselves from locals and their culture, this can be comforting but it only adds to the feeling of alienation. Go out for walks and get to know your surroundings. Get used to the different shops, foods, etc. Also, take it easy. It does take a long time to get used to a new country, so don't beat yourself up for having days where you feel hopeless. Call your family and friends whenever you can.

Train to Busan - A thrilling ride that has a lot to offer. Not only is the premise and execution of the premise quite unique and extremely good for being a zombie film, but it's got actual characters and lots of development in both characters and plot and is, at this moment, a sorely needed addition to a genre that's not had much to offer over the last decade. It's hella lot more than just a two hour long fast-paced zombie-actioner, even though there's a lot of action and zombies throughout. In many ways it's just Snowpiercer with zombies, but that's good. Snowpiercer was awesome to say at least, and this is just as good if not better. 8,5/10

I really don't get why japanese bands feel like they need to disclosure every single break they have. Western bands often go radio silence for very long periods of time and nobody could care less... really, what's 3 months to a band so accomplished as MUCC?
