LANTANA will perform in the US in early 2019. More details will be announced in mid-February. Chaotic Harmony said it will be at a con they've never done before, so Tokyo in Tulsa is out.

Uada just finished their recording of the new album. Again, great cover. Love how it's basically just a different version (past/future/another dimension/what?) of the first cover. That is very interesting. Loved their first album and look forward to this hella lot.

Yup, Requiemage -Another Edition- is up on HMV now. It also comes with a second bonus disc. Also the tracklisting for Birth and Confession is up as well. There'll be two editions (regular and limited). It seems like the limited edition one will be a digibook. Genesis will only be on the limited edition and not the regular one. ￥2700 is a bit much for an EP, but both editions are exactly the same price which is interesting.

Limited edition DVD will contain the PV for 'Beyond These Walls' and the members' individual solo versions too for a total of 5 versions.

That is really sad! They were on of the best newcomers in years, their fanbase was "bigger" than most bands i've seen, there were members from famous bands/managers at their sponsored events checking them out, they got somewhat 10-15 amazing songs... Most of the songs even had recorded background music/professional sounding effects. Really thought they will announce some new single or something... I guess they were too young, all around 16-17, and start a something new? I felt their singer was more into softer songs judging from his behavior and session bands and their guitarist into heavy stuff, so maybe musical differences? Really confused!

I love Hiro and all he does musically. Would've hoped he goes back to what he did in early Visage, but i guess those times are long over. I think the chorus is boring, maybe it will grow on me. But i have to say i get a lot of late NEGA vibes from the look/atmosphere, the PV and partly the sound. Dont know yet if thats good or bad. Really like the "clean" guitar parts. Also bassist has cool presence in the video.

Me personally, I still listen to the GazettE from time to time... but being around the fanbase... to me they've become more of a fashion statement or "trend setter" that also happens to play music. I see more fans talking about what merch they own and what RAD Market goods are in their ootd than I do of them talking about their actual music. I gave DOGMA a listen through before and frankly, my opinion, it was really just background noise. I couldn't tell you the name of probably more than 2 tracks on that album.

The singles leading up to Toxic had some kiiiiller b-sides. And, take all the singles from Shiver to Remember the Urge and you got yourself a Toxic 2. Also, Sludgy Cult is probably my favorite post-Dim album song.

I really liked their last single, especially "ii kusuri". Still waiting on my CD to arrive (I bought secondhand), but I'm excited to receive it! I bought type A. Since "This is 'Live'" is releasing 2 days after my birthday, I thought I'd pick it up as a birthday present to myself. Still debating what version to get. I hope they release a teaser for "The Kinky" soon. I'd like "KIDS WAR" but I also feel like an mp3 of that will be way easier to find than the PV. Hoping the PV song will be good! I wonder if "shiroi geranium" or "aru hi, sekai wa utsukushii to omotta." will be ballads. The 2nd one definitely sounds like it will be, based on the title alone.

Hi all, I wasn't aware that there is such an elaborate forum for J-rock/VK stuff! Glad to be here! I'm Ken; I live in rural Ibaraki, Japan. I've been a fan of visual rock since I was in high school (early 00s!) These days I work all the time but I occasionally find time to go to shows or play as a support bassist for local bands. Recently I'm working on a YouTube show about late 90s/early 00s VK. In addition to doing reviews, I would like to analyze various tropes and aspects of the genre . • I met DIAURA during the REBORN tour, and I just fell in love. (5 long years since then. oh God! ) The first song I listened to was Lost November (Like most people) and I did not like much at first. But I liked the voice of yo-ka so much that I looked for other songs. • The second song was Beautiful Creature and it was the BOOM that I needed to fall in love. . Tatsuya was still support of the band and I followed his definitive entrance in the band, like SIRIUS / Lily single. Lily by the way, it immediately became my favorite song of them. There's no way I do not like it. Unfortunately he stayed out of FOCUS. • Speaking of FOCUS, it's my favorite album of theirs. It just seems like they shaped that album and threw in our face. • Diaura eventually became one of my favorite bands. They have a very different sound from other recent bands. Reminds me of good Old VK bands. (Like Laputa, whom I came to know because of them.) • With that I do not have much to complain about. I have some original items from them, I was starting the collection but I stopped for an indefinite time. The big problem with DIAURA is that as a relatively large band, they release many songs in limited editions or exclusively for fan club. I get pissed off with this. • I know the focus is the Japanese fans, but that ends with me. If only they would release those songs in compilations after a while, but ... • And well, I do not see a problem on the covers of VERSUS. They are not the best, but also not bad. Even more if compare with releases from other bands around ... Summing up: Diaura is a great band with incredible songs and musicians. May they always continue to do this beautiful work and that "hide san" protects them from the disband. amen.

Judgement day from Lord Hide and Lord Daisuke and the other Vkei gods is coming. Anyone involved in Vkei will be affected. That's why Dir en Grey says "WE'RE NO LONGER VKEI! SHUT UP! THAT WAS PHOTOSHOP!!". Little do they know that even if you dabbled in Vkei, no matter what, you're still affected and you can't deny it. Prophet Kon formed NightingeiL to tell the truth, and now he's back to take you mofos to church. The scripture says that we're doomed, and that we're not gonna be judged immediately. Rather, we're going to have to experience thermonuclear war, and those who survive either have to live on the wastelands, or in a vault. Only if you die will you be judged. There will be 4 horsemen to this apocalypse: 1. Maria Cross. We all know who he is, so I don't need to say much. He used to preform on the streets of Harajuku, did gay porn, got arrested. Yeah we get the drill. He represents the stereotypes about Vkei. 2. GackT. We all know who he is. He's tacky as fuck, he makes pretty shitty music, he's arrogant and all. But you see, those problems are directly related to this. Each horseman will be controlling a different part of the world involved. Kiwamu will control Donald Trump, Maria Cross will control Shinzou Abe, GackT will control Putin, and Yayoi.. well, it's currently unknown. The old texts say that they will meet their armies in Japan, and get ready for Thermonuclear war. Don't fear, my friends! The least expected guy to help out has a plan! Kisaki is shitty as a person, let's be honest, but for once, he's done the best thing he's ever done since forming Phantasmagoria. He is turning all the former Matina and Undercode studios into thermonuclear vaults. They will be scattered around Japan. At the moment, I have only information on the Eternal-Matina vault. Each Vault will have an overseer though, so choose wisely. Just like the real Eternal-Matina, it will be headed by Yayoi (Ex. Vice Risk and La'Miss fairy.).
