kingdom, wonderland savior and vampire saga are for the most part terrible, terrible releases, but their recent ones were very nice as well - i don't have any standout tracks and need to listen to them a bit more

Kingdom was a great release. 

I recommend one of their best albums. Bloody Rose or Vampire Chronicle I and II. 

@Manabu Like i said, I haven't actually finished the manga myself  so I dunno how the execution of it went but the ending is definitely....unexpected for a series of this type. I guarantee you won't guess  

That's my main issue with TG as a whole. Kaneki is only badass for 2 minutes/2 chapters PER series!! He then goes back to doing nothing, holding back or just hiding in the shadows while everyone talks about how legendary he is. It's actually the reason I dropped it. The author is just messing around way too much. It's a shame because there are some awesome characters but oh well, plenty of awesome series that actually deliver out there.

@platy hxh 2011 is hands down one of my favorite anime ever. And easily one of the best shounen ever written. Hisoka is definitely a pervert, however you slice it, but an interesting character nonetheless lol. HxH has a lot of well-written characters tho. If you're only on ep 15, then the best has yet to come! YorkNew City, Greed Island, and especially the Chimera Ant arc are fucking phenomenal. Keep me posted!

@CAT5 I was worried during the first few eps that it would be too childish and I loved Togashi's previous work with YuYu Hakusho, but I'm already hooked in every way  I hung out with friends years ago while they watched the chimera ant arc so I can't wait for it so I can actually understand what's happening

From someone who hasn't played the original, the PTSD + story alterations are a bit weird, the Eng. version sometimes has this corny "Top Gun"-like dialogue, and the game is really fucking horny (in an oddly charming way, at least.) All that said, the worldbuilding is phenomenal, crazy attention to detail, and it feels really cinematic. 

I really don't like Midgar's grungy, industrial aesthetic, but the other positives I mentioned might convince me to buy it if it's ported to PC.

Those seem like pretty standard summons. I kind of wish they'd be more proactive in making new ones for each series or bring back older ones like they did in 14 (Bismark is cool, ok).

I actually cancelled my order of FF XV because of how unsure I am. ;; I feel like I'll regret doing either! Would be really cool to hear what you think of it once you get it though. And I couldn't help but notice the Type-0 mention, @Peace Heavy mk II. That was definitely addictive. Slowly going through my second play-through of it. I admit it's a wonky remaster, but I found the combat surprisingly enjoyable, and not repetitive but fulfilling and exciting. There's also so much you can do in it.

@YuyoDriftI've wanted a psvita for a while, I love handhelds so in the future (with tons of spare money) I might get one. It seems worth it. Needless to say Playstation offers a lot more reason to be with them whereas microsoft barely tries lol

It's all about raking in those dollary-doos from exposure, ad-revenue, and new customers who want to "stick it to Trump/alt-right" . (How many customers do you really "add" if Gillette is already the go-to for cheap to mid-tier manual razors? 🤔) Pepsi did this by trivializing BLM and earned a shit-ton of money from the ad. Gillette, BiC, Harry's, Philips and Dollar Shave Club all win here. 

The fact that we're talking about shaving cream on a visual kei forum means they win.

Nothing wrong with the message, but I'm not really a big fan of using subjects like this to cash in on. And the way I see it, they don't exactly give the subject matter the respect and attention it truly deserves here. Feels like they're actually taking a serious subject that should be addressed further, and make it a lot smaller and less relevant than what it is.

It doesn't exactly help that the commercial itself is pretty bad. Looks like a cheap, no-budget and embarrassingly mediocre school project made by teenagers who's only done something like this a couple of times before.

Always remembered it as the "ice cube" album. I didn't know why I remembered the album cover so well, not having listened to the album for many years. I realized I only would listen to it for "Guren", then hop back over to NIL (the only two gazette albums on my iPod before I grabbed their discog sometime after TOXIC released.)

Tbh, I don't really do any video work so I have a hard time recommending anything since though the are similar, obviously there are different things that you want from video than for photo. That said, either way £70 isn't going to get you much of anything. I'm not trying to be a downer, but man, even looking at like fairly old used gear you aren't going to get much for that. The -cheapest- I could find on ebay for a t2i (a 7 year old Canon camera) with a lens was $200.

@platyYep, Zenitsu is annoying as fuck. The Boar-head guy too. Whoever is writing for the show, I just felt like they did a really poor job, cuz a lot of the jokes fell flat or just felt really awkward. Mind you, when I see that whole "coward" archetype in shounen, I immediately think of Usopp from ONE PIECE...he's hands down the best cowardly characters I've seen written.

I like to get the PV edition because in D's case at least it comes with at least 20 minutes of making of and I get to see the guys fooling around, and those off shot videos aren't always posted on youtube, much less in decent quality.

Also... it must have been about three-ish years ago, but I still distinctly remember that, after the woman chose the man she wanted (based on his fucking feet/dick, ofc) she... ran up to him, jumped on his waist and hugged him tight. Like, completely without warning. And this guy didn't get a boner (not even a semi, he was completely flaccid throughout the whole thing) or stumble or owt. Bear in mind, she was quite pretty and she wasn't big or anything, but she looked like she could have at least made him backstep a bit if she was gonna do it that suddenly. Idk, fsr that just made me not believe any of it, tbh. Mayhaps that makes me the shallow one? Lol.

Well considering that my initial thoughts on the album weren't all too favorable, I'd have to break down my favorite by performance and atmosphere.

Performance: DEUX

Atmosphere: GRUDGE

and of course nothing in this album with a 40 foot pole is gonna come remotely close to touching OMINOUS because it is an unreal song and a beautiful farce that we all fell for.
