MY LIFE HAS BECAME A FANFIC! On saturday i went to Kobe to see my favorite band UNiTE. in a event with DADAROMA, RAZOR, D=OUT, FEST VAINQUEUR and Rides in Revellion. After RAZOR concert i was totally in love for them and then tweeted that they were the best so far. UNiTE. was the last band, and IT WAS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST OF COURSE. After the concert, they called all other bands to return to the stage in order to take a picture with everyone (that usual pictures band+crowd). I was in the bottom of the live house (cuz it was the best place to watch) so i didnt thought i would even appear on the picture, but in any case i got ready smiling to the stage and making PIECE with my hands when . . .. . i felt someone pushing my arm really hard, and before i could even see who it was i've head the fangirls screaming like KYAAAA KYAAAAAA. When i finally got my eyes into the person it was UNiTE. guitarrist LiN. At some point that i didn't notice, he came down from the stage to take me and bring me to the middle of the crowd. He brought with him Kouryu from RAZOR and i was really surprised (did them stalk my twitter before that? LOL) So in the end i took the picture while hugging my favorite band member. BEST DAY EVER BRO!

I just saw them tonight!! They're really good!! Tonight was XIX-nineteen-'s first shusai and before the encore, a screen came down and played that video in the first post. When it got to the part that announced that nineteen would be disbanding and I momentarily freaked out until it said that LAVANS would be forming haha I hope more people like this band!!

Tracklist: 1. 中野行進曲 (Nakano Koushinkyoku) 2. GOKUMI 3. White regret 10. 羞恥遊戯 (Shuuchi Yuugi) 11. 二重人格 (Nijuujinkaku) 12. ユメ風船 (Yume Fuusen) | Everything you wanted from visual kei band including taking out the trash Now generally シビレバシル (Sibilebashir) is known for their off the wall strange antics and a vocalist that dresses with the style of top notch drag queens, but if anyone had forgotten they also every once in a while release some seriously bad-ass music. Something about シビレバシル (Sibilebashir) just hits the bulls-eye of my soul with its visual goodness with 中野合衆国 (Nakano Gasshuukoku). It's understandable that Izumi's voice isn't for everyone, but for me along with the cacophony of music put together by guitarist marya, bassist Yuuto, and drummer rei it is a mess of perfection. I was ready for this album from the first day they announced it and every single released before it's arrival left me wanting so much more. 中野合衆国 (Nakano Gasshuukoku) is something that stands out from the mess of visual music and isn't afraid of it's message even featuring a track about the regret of American voters after the recent election. The album is hard to figure regarding that it's a strange infusion of punk, pop rock, and pure visual insanity. Even it's opening track "中野行進曲 (Nakano Koushinkyoku)", is a groovy start for the album and it's dam difficult to fight off the urge to let it's catchy rhythm take hold of you. It's a perfect lead into super infectious "GOKUMI", which is one of the best songs they've ever put together. It's a track that anyone should have a hard time forgetting as it's so well infused with a simple beat and a chorus that you can't get out of your head. "路地裏に立つ女 (Rodjiura ni Tatsu Onna)" a much faster paced track comes up next, and the bass lines provided by Yuuto outshine the rest of the song and show off a lot of his talent. The album starts to become much more twisted with "本能 (Honnou)" which starts to take on the form of シビレバシル (Sibilebashir) that fans are more familiar with as it's more demented and messy, much like the rest of their work. "残響 (Zankyou)" transitions the album takes the album further down the rabbit hole. The twisted guitar, played by marya, is so wonderful and borderline trippy that it feels like something you shouldn't be listening to, yet you want more. And the album continues to impress with musical merit thanks to track "都会迷路 (Tokai Meiro)", which gives you a taste of シビレバシル (Sibilebashir) candy that you feel you need so much more of. "人生はマンネリだ (Jinsei wa Mandela)" definitely sparkles with rhythmical lusciousness with a dash of the great drumming provided by rei. The album carries you straight into "月姫 (Tsukihime)", a previously released song, that is placed so perfectly in the track list. "月姫 (Tsukihime)" is very memorable especially with it's extremely fetching instrumentals and clean vocals. "White regret" is a song filled dissatisfaction over recent world events with current presidential standings. Despite it's topical theme it's a harmonious delight of sorrowfully haunting guitars and anguished vocals that emit pure disappointment. 中野合衆国 (Nakano Gasshuukoku) shifts to a harder gear with "羞恥遊戯 (Shuuchi Yuugi)" with discordant melodies and chaotic vocals that add a bit more of a deranged spice to the album. The only issue with the album is "二重人格 (Ninjuujinkaku)" which admittedly is a beautiful song all on it's own, but it's placement in the track list feels very out of place as if it they weren't where exactly to put it. The release ends with "ユメ風船 (Yume Fuusen)" which would have felt better like a much better track if it's weren't for the previous song.. Nonetheless, it's a perfect ender to the album, and it's a super upbeat bass line party with guitars providing the drinks, drums throwing confetti everywhere, and vocals taking the night to it's close. 中野合衆国 (Nakano Gasshuukoku) is something that feels so very シビレバシル (Sibilebashir), which is a band that seems to have no definition or clear genre. And that's what's so lovely about the band and their work. If you feel the need for a release that's messy and so close to being well put together then look no further. Support the band! Amazon (JP)

If I see one more comment that's not related to MEJIBRAY's new release, I'm locking the topic and handing out warnings! @frayed @Gichi Gichi @rvrgf @sheepprincessgara I don't know if you've heard, but there is a function on this forum that allows users to send private messages (PM) that aren't posted publicly for everyone to see. So if you wanna call each other idiots, argue about using the words "homosexual" and "pedophile" in the same sentence, you now have a fun new secret place that doesn't derail a thread from its topic. How insane is that? @CarmelzorsIs there ever a time you don't make some half-witted attempt at "calling out the staff" for "not doing their jobs?" Here's a super fun, amazing, awesome idea: if you see problematic shit, report it! Does that idea just blow your mind or what?! Another cool idea: if you have any "suggestions" for how us staffers should do our jobs, take that "suggestion" to us directly, and if it's not a wall of text, we'll take it into consideration.

As there aren't translations of this great song, I decided to do that as my first whole song translation! I tell you that my Japanese is quite basic and I tried to do an understandable translation, so you are free to comment anything about it! 打ち拉がれるようにそっと崩れてく 切望した未来 殺した感情 もう要らない 消えかけた僕には見えないから 絶命寸前の「君」に何ができる 僕には触れられもしないから Romaji: miminari ga yamanai "atama ga waresou ni naru" kono vision dake o miseru nara "isso koroshite yo" for you sotto tsubuyaita koko ni wa nanimo nokoranai musebinaita ato keshiki wa yami ni kieteyuku ikutsu yoru o koereba ii? kesenu itami o kaesu basho ga nai zetsubou no ame ga "kimi" o oshitsubushita kitto... kono yoru ni wa sukuenai dokugin sureba sukoshi wa magireru to omotta kanashimi wa sou kienakute nomikomareru kono hisou ni tada tada boku wa miteiru dake dokusai no ame ga "kimi" o shibaritsukete mo yasashii kioku wa kesanai de zetsubou no ame ga "kimi" o kirisaita ima mo... uchihishigareru you ni sotto kuzureteku setsubou shita mirai koroshita kanjou mou iranai kiekaketa boku ni wa mienai kara zetsumei sunzen no "kimi" ni nani ga dekiru boku ni wa furerare mo shinai kara. Translation: "The rain of despair falling on you" The buzzing doesn't stop "My head will crack" If this vision showed me only this "Kill me rather" For you Softly muttered Nothing remains here. After I cried The scenery vanished in the dark How many nights I should go over? There isn't a place where to return an indelible pain. The rain of despair has crushed "you" Surely... I can't save this night If, singing by myself for a while, I thought of being lost The sadness won't disappear Swallowed In this pain Absolutely I am only looking for it Even if the rain of despotism has tied down "you" Don't erase the gentle memory The rain of despair has torn "you" Even now... It softly crumbles as it has been struck A longing future Killed emotions I don't need them again Because I can't see it fading from me What you can do before your death Because I won't be touched. Kanji/Romaji from Jpopasia Translation: my work, so credit me before posting elsewhere!

i always sought after sakito as a great asset, a very talented and styled guitarist but overshadowed by a lousy > misunderstood band ... i hoped he couldve done a collab band like sukekiyo or vamps, just grab a great vocalist and start a project band -- couldve been something great !

    CLear

Here's the setlist for CLear's shusai live the other other night! 1.夢ノカケラ 2.妄想クローゼット 3.Dearest(パートチェンジ) 4.Surround en.夢うつつ I FUCKING LOVE THIS BAND. I wish more people loved them too T_T Their set was like one song longer than all the other bands because of the encore, but it felt SO SHORT T_T I can't believe how quickly it went by haha I was really happy that a good amount of ppl stayed! I was kind of worried cos it was REX and that live house is so depressing when there aren't enough ppl for a set haha Ryota lost the lyrics a few times in some of the songs… or like his voice got stuck? Not sure. Something weird happened haha but it's okay <3 He recovered really quickly anyway. And he's really fucking good at directing the crowd like telling them which furi is next and what not and doing it in a way that he doesn't lose the lyrics and the timing is good so you know what to do and when to do it like it's actually really hard to do? I've gone to lives where the vocalist is like trying to direct but it's too soon or too late and it's kind of confusing haha Also, I hope they release Mousou Closet on CD soon!!! I really like it!! And omg they did a part change for Dearest! After Mousou Closet, Ryota turned around and Kai gave him his guitar and I was like wait what? And Kai sang!! HE'S FUCKING ADORABLE! And can actually sing quite well? But he's so shy! Like he looked kinda embarrassed sometimes and was giggling to himself lolol And Ryota was playing guitar!! He even did the guitar solo!! <3333333333333 On the oritatami part Kai was yelling "ORI-TA-TA-MI" spaced out like how Ryota would do it and they both exchanged a look and laughed haha omg I fucking love them <333333333 And one of the parts where we sway back and forth Kai was swaying like how he does in the furi videos… go watch them so you know what I'm talking about. He does it in a very Kai way. Haha <3 But yeah, apparently it was their first part change so they were pretty proud of that <3 I FUCKING LOVE SURROUND. I have no idea why I love this song so much. But I fucking love it. I love the sound. I love the lyrics. I just love it. This is the only song that I actually kind of know the lyrics and Ryota def fucked up the lyrics a few times? Lololol but like it's kind of amazing cos if you don't know the lyrics, there's no way you'd have known? Like he prob knows when he fucks up the lyrics, but like you can't see it on his face at all. He sings it with 100% confidence. <3 After Surround they walked off stage and I was kind of surprised cos it felt so short, but I mean. It's a taiban so yeah. Of course it's kinda short, but still. So we all yelled their names and then it went kinda quiet before Wataru and Tsukimi walked off and Tsukimi was like "WHY ARE YOU SO QUIET ALL OF A SUDDEN????" so everyone laughed and like the Tsukimi gya yelled for him hahaha <3333 There was a pretty sad encore call… like only the saizen?? I did a little but kinda felt embarrassed a while yelling from the third row by myself haha. The girl next to me looked at me like "I want to yell with you but I'm so embarrassed????" haha <3 Before the encore started a screen rolled down and they payed a video of Ryota and Kai basically thanking ppl for coming to the shusai and whatnot and it ended with the group photo of their new look. Maybe I'm biased af (I'm definitely biased af) but I really fucking like it??? Like Kai looks so good!!! I mean, his new look doesn't really fit his personality, but fuck. He looks so good? Haha <33333 Tsukimi looks kinda meh to me. He's really obsessed with that ridiculous hair but that's fine. It matches his personality lolol <3 They played Yume Utsutsu for the encore! I GOT TO USE THE PEN LIGHT STICK THING THAT I BOUGHT! I WAS SO EMBARRASSED BUT IT WAS SO FUN Plus Yume Utsutsu was composed by Ryota! And he wrote the lyrics!! So <333333333333333333 I definitely need to go buy the acoustic version haha Oh and during one of the songs Ryota accidentally punched Kai in the face cos they were both standing on the vocalist box haha and he kinda looked up at Kai while he was singing like "omg I'm so sorry!! Lolz?" hahaha Kai just laughed haha They're so close! They were like near each other all night like on the vocalist box or Ryota would go over to shimote and like put his arm around Kai etc <3 I LOVE THAT THEY LOVE EACH OTHER It was over WAY TOO SOON! T_T After their set was stasuei! I took two pics with Ryota and one with Kai <3 I asked Ryota if there was a pose he liked and he was like "hm.. Oharyo pose!" lolol <3 I hope more people come to their lives and fall in love with them! I really really love this band!!! Picspam!!!

Is this appropriate for a siggie?

LOL. If you are hesitant or have a question in mind about signature being appropriate or not, avoid using it is the best idea. Members with an inappropriate signature whether it be the size or the image itself will be temporarily punished by replacing the signature with a Teletubby one. For example:

Not exactly let down by the release, because I was already prepared for the worst after the samples came out. My attitude is rather lenient towards them anyway; like whatever they release I'm fairly confident it'll go in cycles with them and a similar and a different song is eventually going to come up. Although I think it can be said that they've been phasing out the deathcore since like the second single in favor of that nu metally/"industrial" angryman sound. This is unfortunate and it does make me wonder whether it's an conscious effort to be more palatable to a larger crowd. It's not like these dudes could have possibly grown out of deathcore in the span of like 6 months. That core cameo on Zouka is one of their best moments, so I hope it'll at least keep making sporadic appearances if we can't get nomo ame no waruzus I like the Masturbation song, and sort of lukewarm on everything else. They never jump out or really gain an intensity that's impossible to ignore. Tired is how I'd describe it.

Even though I agree on this... Isn't encouraging them to watch Disney channel over cartoon network (or vice versa), making them listen to specific children songs and dressing them in what YOU think is cute/appropriate for their gender also forcing your own interests on them? As a personal example, I never watched any TV show, just movies that my mother had pre-approved, always dressed girly to fit her vision of how women are supposed to be and listened to fucking Mazapan and Henri Dès until I was THIRTEEN. (I got into rock at 16 because I wasn't allowed to use youtube or download anything until then.) Weren't many of us raised according to our parents views of what we were supposed to like or what they considered was best for us? Granted, people raising kids before being mature themselves are bound to fuck up more along the way, but, in a way, regardless of the age, hasn't everyone tried to encourage people one loves to take an interest in what interests us, at least once? It is an interesting subject you touched there

(The look associated with Jigyakuteki Sennoukokka, and Haikei, Haranbanjou Biyori) So I decided to do a review of these two releases because they're really special to me. I'll explain why, but first, let's give some background on Memento Mori: Memento Mori was an AnguraKei band formed in 2010 from the session band, Jigsaw. The members came from all around the Tokyo indie scene. Lead singer Ai (Now Mei in Kuroyuri to Kage) came from the band Rose Valley, whose guitarist also played support guitar for Tsubaki's (Was Koyomi in Kuroyuri) old band, Yukiline (which also had Chiaki from Dezert). Jin and Yohan (Now Kuro and K respectively) both came from a band called Icecream. The earliest prototype to Memento Mori is a band called Arutema, which had Ai, Tsubaki, and Yohan (Then, Ai and Tsubaki were known as ISOLA and Akaya). The other guitarist was Ya, and the drummer was named HIDE. Guitarist Jin and and drummer Carua replaced Ya and Hide and the band was christened "Jigsaw". Jigsaw would then sign to Dear Dolce records, and renamed Memento Mori. Jigyakuteki Sennoukka was their first album. It was released under Dear Dolce records. Originally, Haikei Haranbanjou Biyori was also going to be released on Dear Dolce, but the label closed. So after Dear Dolce closed, Memento Mori and Piece were resigned to Asakasa Kougyou music (Aka-on), which was originally a sublabel of Dear Dolce that held Raddock (Whose drummer would go on to be in Kuroyuri to Kage). The first album was originally recorded with drummer Carua, but he left two days before it's release. So drummer Yue replaced him. Now that you know the history, let me explain why this album and EP are special to me. Memento Mori was one of the first Vkei bands I got into. They charmed me with their sound and use of Japanese instruments, and Ai's vocals captivated me. This band has always been a favourite of mine, and helped me get through hard times. Safe to say, I hold a passion for this band. Now let's get onto the review!! Jigyakuteki Sennoukokka: 1. Red Rabbit: This is possibly the perfect intro track. It's not too short, not too long, is very energetic, and let's you know what this band is about. It's a very catchy piece that will get stuck in your head. 2. Sakurabi Awaki Samidare Ni -Aitou No I-: This is a rerecording of a song from an earlier single. This time, a regular Koto (Japanese harp) was used. Before such, a Taishogoto (Japanese harp with typewriter keys) was used in the single version. This is an aggressive track that requires headbanging. Lots of Metalcore influence in this one. Ai's growls and screams really add to the heaviness, and the guitar solo in what originally was the breakdown really added to the already amazing song. 3. Seiaku Linda: Also from a single, this one is a bit more upbeat with a very audible bassline. This also introduces Memento Mori's love of pinch harmonics, as they're commonly used throughout the song. The drums in the beginning also show Carua's amazing skills. Too bad he wasn't in the band long enough though. 4. Mosaic Jishukisei: This track isn't actually on the album, but is listed as a track for some odd reason. IDK if it was meant to be a hidden track, or if it was scrapped at the last second. It's just not on there. 5. Kairaku Nonfiction: This one is a bit jazzier, starting out with a drum groove and a smooth bassline. Then trumpets go off and the main riff kicks in. This also shows Ai's vocal skills, as he uses a lot of heavy vibrato, something we wouldn't hear much of until Kuroyuri to Kage. 6. Iris: This one is a semiacoustic piece, and while it is the quintessential soft song, it doesn't feel stereotypical or forced. It feels straight from the heart. Jin takes the acoustic parts while Tsubaki takes the electric parts. Mei's voice is also a bit rawer in this, making it feel more genuine. 7. Monochrome Death: This heavy piece uses a lot of staccato notes, and screams. It also seems to change feel throughout the song, going from major, to minor. Though, the lyrics are a bit cringey, especially the English ones such as "DESPERATE SCENERY IS BLURRED. ENDLESS SORROW. PUBIC TREE. MONOCHROME DEATH". Like, the hell is a pubic tree? Do I even want to know?? 8. Kiku No Kasa to Kagome Uta: This is Memento Mori's first ever song, being released as a single earlier. The thrash influenced riffing and drum beats really give it a dark feel. Originally, a PV was made for this song, but only a PV spot was released. The chorus is also fun to sing along to. I find myself harmonising every time. 9. Merry Chainsaw: Also rerecorded from an earlier single, this starts out with Jin using a wah effect on the guitar. Ai also gives a more aggressive feel to the vocals compared to the single version. It's a dark song, about.. well.. I'm not entirely sure since I don't speak Japanese, but the title is "Merry Chainsaw", so, it's kind of obvious. 10. Murder Doll: The last song on the album, also on their first single, this ties up the album perfectly. It's dark atmosphere, and aggressive song structure really wraps up the album. Often, live, this song is extended so the band can interact with the audience. If I could compare it to another, I'd say it fits the role that "Zan" did on Dir En Grey's first album. Haikei Haranbanjou Biyori: This is the EP released after the first album, and the second release to feature drummer Yue (Who was previous featured with the band's addiction to the Dear Dolce omnibus). This takes in more traditional Japanese influence, and including doom metal and sludge metal influenced riffing, along with Eroguro themed lyrics. This is probably influenced from the band Ningen Isu, which was known for their eroguro themes, sabbathy riffing, and Japanese folk feel. Sadly, because of the low budget as a result of changing labels, and the rushed production, the sound quality isn't that good. The kick drums are barely audible. But for this album, it's not needed. 1. Kyoumei Youkou: This is the SE tract to the EP. It starts out with Synth Drums and then goes into a Shamisen melody. At the end, you hear Hishigi clappers, which really set the stage (Kabuki theatre pun intended) for this album. 2. Joroya: This was the song that got me into Memento Mori. It was the first to have a PV, and is possibly one of their best pieces. The gritty, slowed down riffing with the Shakuhachi and Shamisen really give a unique vibe. The song's meaning though is quite weird. I can't be for sure, but it seems as if it's about a prostitute who is taken advantage by an incubus, until she turns against the incubus and refuses service?? Unfortunately, this song got the band in a lot of trouble for accusations that they were copying Kiryu, even though Memento Mori and Kiryu are very different bands. Also, if Memento Mori is copying Kiryu, Kiryu is copying Byakura, and Byakura is copying Birushana. 3. Oiran Chourou: This song is a similar one to Joroya, in both sound and lyrics. This one, however, is about a prostitute in Yoshiwara. In this one, Ai goes in between deep and androgynous vocals more often. 4. Suzaku: Another semiacoustic piece, this one is slower compared to Iris. Ai also goes in between androgynous and regular vocals. The lyrics are emotional and from the heart, being about someone you miss dearly. I can sympathise with this one on many levels. 5. Bankoku, Akagami Reijou: This one is quite unique. It has a militaristic feel with the rythm guitar using military drum rythms, and powerful vocals. And that fits the meaning of the song. During the end of WW2, Japan was really losing the war, fighting on two fronts. Americans on the pacific, and Russians and British in Asia. This song takes place during a battle in China, where Ai says he hopes to go home soon, then tells his troops that they need to fight for their country. It's their mother. It's their father. It's their children. It's them. It's Japan. 6. Rampowezu to Komoriuta: The last song on the EP, this one is normally romanised as Ranpoezu to Komoriuta. However, N before P in Japanese is romanised and pronounced as M, and 絵 in archaic dialect is pronounced "We". The song starts off with an old recording of Buddhist Sutras, then goes into the intro riff, with a phaser effect on the guitars. The lyrics often make references to Japanese children's songs, such as Kagome Kagome. It's the perfect ending song, as it just feels like it couldn't go anywhere else. In conclusion, Jigyakuteki Sennoukokka and Haikei Haranbanjou Biyori are amazing releases, from a very unique band. It is really sad that Memento Mori no longer preforms as Memento Mori, because these songs were a gift to the Vkei scene. What do you think about the releases? What are your favourite songs? What do you think of Memento Mori? Feel free to tell me!

Hmmmm. I respect your opinion. I agree that Sakito is a great guitarist and he does great compositions and writes good lyrics. As for Ruka, yeah, I can agree and I'll say that he doesn't show much emotion when it comes to DVDs or pictures for some reason :/ Ruka did want to be the bassist for Nightmare when he originally joined I believe? But who knows? Maybe he's gotten tired of drumming for such a long time? As for the other members, Yomi's vocals were good in their prime but I am not too big on the recent change (I heard it was from smoking) and as for the other two members, I can't say much.

    The OFFICIAL RPDR Discussion Thread

I SOMEHOW MISSED THIS THREAD. BBIES I AM HERE. LET'S DISCUSS. Okay so team Valentina. Get that out the way. SPOILERS: So far I'm glad to see Charlie, Eureka, and Kimora go. Kimora was annoying as hell and her princess look and presentation was terrible. Charlie had so much potential but after she gave up I was like bye. You can't say you're not gonna lip sync on rupaul's drag race. ???? Eureka is annoying as well. It wasn't just that she was loud it's that she was loud and kinda rude. Her attitude was unnecessary and her bullshitnapology to Valentina and Sasha was dumb and felt pressured by the producers. Going forward I'm excited to see what Nina does, she has some amazing looks and I've seen some of her lip sync performances and I can't wait to see her in the bottom for that alone. Sasha is really freaking cool. She's really sweet and funny and is nice to watch in untucked. I'm glad she's not 100% bald all the time she looks nice in wigs too. Shea is doing well and has won two challenges in a row and I think she's definitely gonna be top four. Alexis is pretty and funny but she has a cheapness to some of her looks I think it's gonna hurt her later on. I think it definitely cost her this last win but I'm excited for her snatch game performance. Cynthia god bless her soul... I love her personality and she's an angel but her looks, although better than last year, are just not great. Whenever she has to act she lets too much of her own personality come thru, much like Alyssa Edwards. My baby Valentina is a goddess. She's perfect, she's beautiful, she looks like Linda Evangelista, she's a model. But really she's great. Her looks have all been beautiful and her inspiration is really classic and gorgeous. She's done well in most of the challenges so I'm rooting for her to make it far. Peppermint is wonderful. She works hard and looks nice but her outfits are annoying me. They're not very good sometimes and she needs to step it up. Trinity has definitely grown on me. I hated her at first but her talent and personality are showing and I'm respecting her more. Especially when she stood up to Eureka. Aja is someone I was really excited for and she's kinda let me down. She hasn't done bad per say but she hasn't done as well as I thought she would and her freak out on Valentina in untucked was although iconic, completely unnecessary. Step it up bitch. She killed her lipsync tho so it was worth it. I'm just happy the musical is over cause it's hard to watch a lot of the seasons.

    Starting a Cover Channel?

Ah forgot to give you another important advice, sing with your voice do not try to imitate the original singer, any song you are singing! Always you have to put some of "your" PS: My only advantage is that I am male ahahahah!!

    Memorable Millenial Kei Vocalists

I ctrl+F'd this page and it had no Juri (ex-DELUHI) SMH guys. One of the best, least nasal vk-core vocalists right there.

BAROQUE's kei solo work is so fucking brilliant. This dude single-handedly influenced SO MANY bands, his composition style was mimicked so many times, and sadly the western fanbase don't seem to think so highly of him... a shame

If you change the title of the Zi:Kill song "Bad Man" to "Batman", the lyrics sort of make sense. Only sort of though. I'd love to see someone try and interpret the song

Went through this in February. Tried everything and the cough persisted for two or three weeks, and the only thing that finally worked were antiallergics, even though the cough originated from a common flu :/ drink warm water with lemon and honey and don't force your voice out today. Best of luck!

    #96: ザアザア - 不幸な迷路

I'm surprised that this album is evoking such polarizing reactions! For me, 不幸な迷路 totally brought 2017 in with a bang. I mentioned in my review it reminds me a lot of 2001-2003 indie visual kei, especially with tracks like 落とし穴 (Otochiana), 寄り道 (Yorimichi) and 交尾をしてよ (Koubi o Shiteyo). I could slide any of these next to an early the GazettE track or a turn of the century Aliene Ma'riage track and it wouldn't sound too out of place. Then, in certain places it strays into 2004-2007 era like ラストダンス (Last Dance) and 排水口 (Hasui Guchi), and then makes an awkward leap to 2015 to the present with the rest. Do either of you feel the same way?

    PLASTICZOOMS

Just going to push this thread up again because I'm a very recent listener to PLASTICZOOMS and I love them! unfortunately, I have a pretty bad crush on Sho too, oops. I always saw Sho in photos with Kobayashi-san and I figured, why not check out PLASTICZOOMS. So I did...bouncing from video to video on YouTube, but I wasn't too into them at first. I think the only songs I really felt were memorable were Highway and P A R A D E. Then for some strange reason, I felt the urge to listen through PLASTICZOOMS and Critical Factor because I wasn't gonna give up on them so easily! After a couple listens, I reviewed PLASTICZOOMS (found here) and I regret that I did so...early on. After just 2 listens! From then, I have grown very attached to that album, along with Critical Factor, and have, overall, fallen in love with PLASTICZOOMS. I appreciate how versatile their style is, and I feel like even if something I hear from them doesn't pull me in initially, I will find myself rocking to it on the second listen...it's weird. Well that's my mini journey of how I came to love PLASTICZOOMS, and I hope there are many more years to come. (Now come to America purease)

    random thoughts thread

When I see these people often stating that "yay when I grow up and bear kids, I shall make them listen to my vk muzak", I often think whether that feels too forced and perhaps hindering with regards to unique development of your own children. I am not considering any grandiose family prospects per se but seeing these 2010s families with parents of my own age, what are their attitudes towards raising their kids etc. irks me a bit. Just provide and explain options to your brats, encourage openness etc. Forcing your own interests (exclusively), especially those of VK-like proportions, will merely damage their own unique perception, viewpoints they will abide to in the later course. This is also my main argument against most families kickstarting their infant-bearing days right in their early 20s - when they (more likely) have no fricking idea how to encourage growth, one's mental development, responsibility for fuck's sake. Give it some time lads... Fortunately enough this is MH and not Reddit where these weeaboo moms and dads fail to test their wits over my statements above.

I had high hopes for this cast, but I'm not feeling this season at all unfortunately. :/ I don't know what it is, but nothing's grabbed my attention yet. I really like Nina, Shea and Sasha though and hope they go far.

    The OFFICIAL RPDR Discussion Thread

At first I wasn't really impressed with the cast, except Sasha Velour, mostly cuz I wasn't really famililar with them. Their looks on the reveal didn't really impress me or show me who they were, but Sasha really stuck out not only cuz of her baldness, but because how unique and artsy fartsy she seemed to be. At the first episode however, that changed and I fell in LOVE with Nina Bonina Osama bin Laden Rodham Clinton Brown and her outlandish drag~ She is top 3 material for sure!! I've also fallen for Valentina in and out of drag; she's probably the hottest guy in all drag race herstory ;w; but her skills are amazing (so far) for only 10 months of experience. I wasn't too impressed with the reveal of Aja, but I kinda liked her since my weeb ass is a sucker for "anime queens". I was scared that RPDR (Michelle, specifically) were gonna make the same awful anime puns that they used on Kim Chi, but thank gawd that hasn't happened at all, nor has anime ever been mentioned again ((so far)). I think they finally realized how cringey "anime-zing" was and realized that they should focus more on Aja's busted-ass mug 😂😂😂
