lynch. will begin a special project to commemorate their 15th anniversary. There will be 10 acts for this project (11 if you count act zero). As of now only the first four have been revealed. I believe this is was 100% necessary name change to be understood better as a band. First the original name was just Omega, some might think this is better just because its simple, rolls of the tongue easily and is a fairly common word used for cool names. BUT you didn't know anything else about them because it was just too short, making you have to LISTEN to their sound to know what they are about. Now lets see the new name additions "heretic of revolution" by only this addition you already know they are not generic and will change shit up, my only question here is: isn't a revolution already heretic most times? if this is redundant or not it is a point of future discussions. The last addition was the most important because now you know they from the universe in general, not like the other "planet-earth-only" bands. Knowing this, one have to ask: where does each band member come from? One member might come from jupiter while another member might try to make people aware of the 2006 demotion of Pluto from planet to dwarf planet, just because "its was not big enough" according to their standards, the question where is the line drawn, one day people might start not considering other people actual people just because they are not big enough??? now you see why this should be discussed. Now you guys are aware of how deep this name change is, no nedd to thank me for pointing it I thank you for reading until this point.

Hazuki's looks like the visual kei god he is with those all-black hot pants and trench coat. It suits his singing and overall performance so good I can't avoid thinking about it.

For some reason, there is always something exciting about listening to lynch. At least to their promo songs... for me, it is something as simple as that combination of Hazuki's faux-baritone voice (with the backing vocals somewhat 'incrustated') doing his trademark anthem-like melodies over that speedy hardcore groove with the drummer hitting the crash on the last quaver of the measure... It's just so 'visual-kei' I can't resist the pleasure. This is fucking why in the last 10 years every act in the scene, even the 'leaders', are doing anything but selling formulaic fan-fulfilling garbage and don't seem to plan to someday stop and put their minds into something with a little plus of 'artistic' value...

yeah. it's been a while since i last did it but last time i bought from him i also ordered directly via the finch liqueur website & he pretty much seems to ship worldwide as far as i know

It's always been weird to me how particularly Western bands can go like 5 years without an album and still be just fine, but vkei bands apparently need to churn out a single every 9 weeks in order to pay back their loan shark and get that checki $$$

Obsessively distinguishing between active bands and inactive bands ('active-only' all-time favorites lists, etc). As if a band never existed as soon as they split up. As if defunct bands don't constantly have reunions, and active bands don't constantly split up. etc. afaik no other genre has a fanbase that cares so much about activeness.
