Hi! I would really love your input on this translation! Partially I didn't really know... Love you love you, wholly wholly wholly Feelings are mellow, mellow, mellow Love you love you, wholly wholly wholly *ba-dump ba-dump* I tweet your name Love you love you, wholly wholly wholly I'm falling sick because of it Love you love you, wholly wholly wholly It's no dream ○○○ It will be worth it not to chase I want to escape when I chase There exist no creatures more mysterious than me! Love you love you, wholly wholly wholly I'm at a loss for normal sensations Good looking normal guys (panpi, non vk-related) I can't see the good looks anymore. Delicate make-up, showy-haired men, I lost my liking for it! Love you love you, wholly wholly wholly That's what they call the "Bangya's curse" Easy to heat, but also easy to cool, Inadvertedly dodging the "smellyness" (the suspicion that someone has something going with a bandmen) There exist no creatures more mysterious than me! Love you love you, wholly wholly wholly I'm easily sick. I love you, I love you. The beginning of a illness I said, "I'm happy." then I'm sick again. The next day I will be in good health. I took a photo from the board, put a heart on it, tweet it, then get sick again. I am full of emotion. Love you love you, wholly wholly wholly I'm at a loss for normal sensations Good looking normal guys (panpi, non vk-related) I can't see the good looks anymore. The Transition from DIVISION to NINTH is by far one of the best examples of growth. Their earlier material is great but i can only listen to em on occasion. DOGMA Era will always be the best GazettE era. Deux>>>>>>> These Niggas's entire discography. If anyone has an issue or disagrees, I'm willing to throw hands and probably lose. -

@nomemorial's status post got me on a Kagrra, binge (on YouTube), and I found one of their lives where they play some of their older songs. Watching it just makes me really wish I could have gone to at least one of their lives before they disappeared ;w; -

1 pointit wasn't last night but speaking of dreams with vk musicians i had a dream that i was on deadman live some years ago! i was cwwwwazy about them back then and there wasn't even the slightest hope they'll ever play together again so it was like a gift from the gods and my first ever dream with vk musician in it featured saga (a9) and i still dunno why cuz i never cared for him at all
-
1 pointman, this single is going to DESTROY us all. i feel like CHEDOARA was just the beginning look at all the hype they built around it,announcing the single months before, the new looks one by one this will probably go beyond AIJOU NI TSUKI ,SHIGARAMI and VANITAS,and we never imagined that none of these 3 songs/mv's i just mentioned would sound as good as they are.

Gesu reacted to nomemorial for a post in a topic
Last night I had a dream that I went to church camp and ran into by David Bowie who was flanked by a troupe of church girl groupies. I expressed my shock that it was really him, at which point he nodded and shook my hand before asking if I'd "like to dock my ship in the command bay." I do not know what he meant by this, but it sounds like innuendo and dream me thought so as well. I made a face and before I could further question his meaning he tried to sell me a stack of bootleg CDs and a tray of IKEA meatballs. Lunesta's a hell of a drug. -

Nighttime Jae reacted to nomemorial for a post in a topic
Thanks for posting - first I've heard of these guys. This PV is giving me bigtime old indies VK vibes with the production, haha. (not a bad thing) I will say, I'm a bit dismayed every time I hear something from a new band and they go straight into the metalcore chugs. Some bands really do it right, but it's gotten a bit stale in my opinion. Being that they're a brand new band, though, I'll be intrigued to see where they go. -

@Nighttime Jae That's actually, oddly enough, one of the things that intrigued me about them. Their products are almost entirely chemical-based and my understanding is that their whole logic is that "sure, there are plenty of things in nature that people put in skincare, but we've tested these specific things scientifically to see how they affect the skin and these are our findings." They're pretty much all in on the fact that their entire line is rooted in chemicals and "non-natural" things (even the packaging kind of reflects this). I was hesitant for the same reason, but I've had better results with their stuff than I have many other things I've tried to add to my routine in the past. -

@platy I recommend the Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser! I honestly love it so much. It's very gentle on the skin, never breaks me out, and keeps my face nice and hydrated! I used to have dry areas around my cheeks, chin, and jawline, but ever since I've been using that cleanser my dryness has stopped and I don't even feel the need to use a heavy moisturizer. I just use a lightweight one with a milky texture. I feel that I've been getting less oily skin as well. Let me know how it goes for you if you decide to try it! ^^ @nomemorial I've been wanting to try products from The Ordinary for quite a while now (they're so unbelievably cheap!) but I don't know where to start. What are some of your favorites? Maybe that'll help me narrow down some of my choices. I HAVE been eyeing the niacinamide + zinc and the AHA + BHA peeling solution one though. @riyusama I've read a lot that vitamin C or products that contain niacinamide helps with evening out the skin tone as well as reducing hyperpigmentation and blemishes. I've still yet to test these out but I just recently ordered a Melano CC Intensive Anti-Spot Essence which contains vitamin C in it. You can also look for vitamin C serums. There's a ton of them out there....but unfortunately I can't help you out with narrowing down your choices. xD I heard that rosehip oil helps with hyperpigmentation as well so maybe you can give that a shot? -

the GazettE
Zeus reacted to nomemorial for a post in a topic
Listened to every full-length album/mini-album from the GazettE over the course of the last week since I hadn't done so in a very long time (really never gave a lot of their full-lengths the proper time of day until DOGMA). I'm having trouble ranking them in my head, but I do like NINTH much more this time around than when it first came out. DOGMA is still my favorite and overall their most consistent effort. MADARA is the best of their pre-"the GazettE" material and one of their best releases overall, really did a great job of capturing multiple genres in a tightly wrapped package. Disorder, NIL, Stacked Rubbish, and DIM had some really standout tracks (the first two being interesting to me as they feel very transitional sound-wise from "ガゼット" to "the GazettE" - I do think there is a bit of a stylistic difference between the two, even if only because of time and growth). Toxic feels the least memorable to me immediately. Division and Beautiful Deformity both surprised me as I felt they ended up being better than expected as a whole. Whoever said a few posts up that they're consistent in terms of sound, but maybe not songwriting, kinda hit the nail on the head. None of their albums are bad in my opinion, but it's also a bit difficult in immediate succession to judge the strongest output since many of the songs run together and feel similar to one another. DOGMA and NINTH are definitely a cut above the rest, though. Overall I think they're at their strongest when they work in extremes - their REALLY aggressive tracks and their more reserved, ballad-style tracks are their most memorable and the ones I'm most likely to go back to. The stuff that sits in the more nu-metal/alt-rock range isn't bad (and is certainly better than most western bands floating in those genres), it just runs together a bit more than the rest. /end long post 😅 -

My wife has given me a solid (and necessary) push to do a bit more with my daily skincare routine and I've been pleased with the results thus far. I've been wary of adding anything to my daily routine as I had pretty frustrating acne in my teenage years so I have this weird latent fear that any change in my normal routine will be disastrous (and luckily that hasn't been the case). Outside of general facewash (Cerave Foaming Facial Cleanser) and moisturizer (Aveeno Clear Complexion) I've added a fine-line reduction serum from The Ordinary (Matrixyl - it has worked quite splendidly) and daily facial sunscreen (Neutrogena Ultrasheer 55+) to protect my aging and naturally pale skin from the elements. Doing a bit more for my skin as really breathed a lot of "life" back into it and as someone who's generally terrified of aging poorly I'm glad I've been making some changes now. Really can't say enough good things about The Ordinary's products, too. My wife has converted me wholly to what they sell and it's everything I love - functional, aesthetically packaged, and VERY cheap. -

I wish I discovered this community when I first came across visual kei music about 8-9 years ago but damn this place going on 12 years is incredible to hear -
1 pointWow. I guess MH is going on 12 years in a few days. Amazing, and it's all thanks to the community for keeping it alive. I have been lurking on and off since the TW days. One of my fondest memories is reading and laughing at the crap jrock bands thread and how the horrible song by idiot or w/e became a running joke among the old regular members for a while. That was fun even if only as a vicarious memory. There are so many familiar usernames still, which is strangely comforting to this occasional visitor. Hoping everyone has been well.

1 pointMy handwriting's pretty terrible, much like the quality of this picture (sorry 'bout that, I have no good cameras). When I was about seven, my teachers told me that I had to improve my handwriting because no-one could read it. After I did (and by that, I mean after I decided to be all fancy and write in cursive), I looked back at some of my old writing and, sure enough, I was genuinely unable to make out what I'd written in the past. It's still pretty bad, and my teachers still tell me they prefer it when I type (even though I haven't had any college teachers tell me my handwriting's completely illegible). It doesn't look too awful in this picture, but if you saw one of my college essays with loads and loads of words all close together, you might not be able to understand it. It's like a typical ten-year-old boy's handwriting; spiky, thin and awkward. Kind of like my hair, actually.
