I agree. I think they've done a really good job of depicting mental illness, so much so that it hit much too close to home for me as well and I had to leave the cinema about halfway through the movie. I've been (consciously) struggling with depression for half my life and I'm currently in a phase (in therapy) where things are looking up, I feel more connected, more awake and present and therefor much more vulnerable and sensitive towards depictions of mental illness, addiction and so forth.

I wouldn't necessarily say it's a question of age though but rather how sensitive you are and whether you've struggled with similar issues in your past or not.

I agree entirely but sadly I think some of the themes, questions and messages the movie is portraying will fall on deaf ears, quite ironic.

@CAT5 it's been slow, but man... It fucking paid off. Hands down best ep of AOT ever aired. 

I thought Season 2 was fantastic, and a huge improvement over season 1 - in just about every regard. I even started to warm up to some of the characters, whom I previously considered 1-dimensional as hell. Season 3 def. seemed slow from the outset, but i'm glad to know things picked up.

Well considering that my initial thoughts on the album weren't all too favorable, I'd have to break down my favorite by performance and atmosphere.

Performance: DEUX

Atmosphere: GRUDGE

and of course nothing in this album with a 40 foot pole is gonna come remotely close to touching OMINOUS because it is an unreal song and a beautiful farce that we all fell for.

It's a 2010(?) 8gb iPod. Nice for when I want to listen to music/audio books without being attacked by phone notifications, but I have to be selective with what's on it and rotate the material

They've only been around for 2 years, so a year ago is half of their career. I  do feel like people are too hard on them though. They're still technically a baby band but because they started off strong, people expect masterpieces from them even though they've only been around a short  while and this is their first band (except Karu). 

2 years is already well past the average VK band life expectancy. They should be collectiong pension and feeding ducks by the pond, by now.

Oh, God. I'm not even gonna pretend I didn't watch the first episode of that because I did. I just can't believe it didn't end after the first season.

Also... it must have been about three-ish years ago, but I still distinctly remember that, after the woman chose the man she wanted (based on his fucking feet/dick, ofc) she... ran up to him, jumped on his waist and hugged him tight. Like, completely without warning. And this guy didn't get a boner (not even a semi, he was completely flaccid throughout the whole thing) or stumble or owt. Bear in mind, she was quite pretty and she wasn't big or anything, but she looked like she could have at least made him backstep a bit if she was gonna do it that suddenly. Idk, fsr that just made me not believe any of it, tbh. Mayhaps that makes me the shallow one? Lol.
