Infamous visual kei gossip message board, Tanuki, has been down since May 31, for unknown reasons... Is it dead? Is this the end of the Shit Noodle™? Yesterday, I wanted to look up something at visualtanuki. However... It seems that http://new02.bbs.2ch2.net/visualtanuki/ has been closed down perennial. Will this be a close down forever? our would we have a new gossip board after a while again? Because the owner didn't pay for hosting? or for whatever temporary reason. Or maybe it's closed because of a "LAW" matter? Because people shared pretty much lot's of private photo's etc on the board. What do you think?! If someone knows more about it, because of checking visualtanuki on a daily base, please let us know. Of course; DAMN, the gossipers need to search for a new hobby now. jrock-phile since early 2000s. first listened to Dir en Grey; I’ve been lucky enough to see them live four times in the US. pretty into post-rock/punk/progressive metal sounds. i also dabbled in japanese dance music (as in imported tons of CDs) between 2006-2014. still into it but it’s not really my focus anymore. used to lurk batsu when it was still around. i’d like to meet people that have any new jrock for my ears and would always be down to trade suggestions/albums.

Ganges is a good song, imo. One of the few jazzy songs I'd listen here and there. But It made me take a closer look on their disco, and it made me see that NINTH is probably not gonna be for me. Disorder to NIL to STACKED RUBBISH is the clear transition of a sucessful indie vk band to a mainstream angry-teenage pleaser sound. Then they drop DIM, which is a much more mature venture than everything they've done before, and still is their peak for a lot of people. Then they release the shitstain that is TOXIC, FILLED with tracks for that teenager above that thought DIM was too heavy, gets barely listenable in one of the sides of DIVISION and keep up with the mediocrity in BEAUTIFUL DEFORMITY. And out of nowhere they blow several people's minds with DOGMA. There's a pattern there, it's like they keep going for a cycle of trying to appease the masses between conceptual works. The same way I think TOXIC is more conceptually closer to STACKED RUBBISH than it is to DIM, I believe NINTH will be more akin to BEAUTIFUL DEFORMITY than DOGMA. which is SAD AS FUCK.
