So before i start i would like to say this is for the first time i ENJOYED all song on a SINGLE release from any band , i know many will say this is the continuation of DOGMA and i must say WHY NOT?? UGLY Title song of the SINGLE i just cannot believe how RUKI improved his ENGLISH, i'm a hardcore Gazette fan so i stick whith the band for a few years now and i never thought that i might actually understand the lyrics from him is it me or he likes to curse a lot in his songs?xD Anyway the breakdowns on this song are epic, i love the SOLO from URUHA. The Guitar rifs ar just so agresive that you can feel the atmosphere all over the place.I just watched the PV and i gotta say now i understand what its like on a GAZETTE concert and i believe that RUKI said they wanted to show it in this PV. Chorus to this song is just cool. Love this song Fxxck TRAITORS!! DEPRAVITY When i first heard this song i immidietly said to myself this could easely be the TITLE SONG itself it has the same feeling like UGLY agressive,powerful,fast. This song is gonna be fun when they play it LIVE. To be honest i played this song like 100x times and again the breakdown is one of the HIGLIGHTS and i can see why so many people like it. Kai makes a good job in this song love the drums in here and i absolutely love RUKIS screaming in here solos are perfect to it! YOU SHOULD DIE! GODDESS If someone thought they would end it with ballad they were wrong. AND IM GLAD! A powerful melodic ending to this single.I love the whispering in this that slowly goes trought RUKIS high VOICE. Again very good job from the band how to keep you on your toes till the end of the song i love tha dark vibe in this!! Hmm... I wonder if the Hizaki x Teru politics put a strain on the rest of the band? They seem to be the only members who really matter at this point, and I wonder if this is the same situation that caused Versailles to split. If I recall correctly, Hizaki has split up bands before for being hard to work with. Isn't that why Sulfuric Acid ended? (Well, that and Tomozo is really good at making people quit his bands) This is still fairly surprising, but at the same time I'm excited to see what other genres Masashi and Yuki are going to explore next since they're two of the most solid musicians this scene has.

Yuki's drumming was a core part of their sound, and together with Masashi they were one hell of a rhythm unit. You could hear it more in Versailles than Jupiter. I always thought that Jupiter was trying to be Versailles-lite and market a more pop power metal combo, and in that context I understand what they feel. If Jupiter is going to stay the course - and it seems like they will - then Masashi and Yuki will continue to play second fiddle to the guitarists. There's no room for them to grow in this band anymore. I hope they stick together since they're leaving together and maybe even form a new band. Visual kei needs them.

I really wish goddess ended up on dogma at the expense of lucy getting tossed into reject bin, but that's a minor complaint. really liked this entire release, and hoping they will produce at least a couple more singles of the same quality before next album recording commences.

You and I both know that the moment Hizaki decides to leave, this band is DONE. As great as Teru is, this band will not stay afloat without Hizaki. Zin is not that great of a vocalist, and pales in comparison to Kamijo. Who in the hell will be able to replace Masahi OR Yuki? VERY big shoes to fill.

Okay, it turned out to be quite decent, heh. Also, the recording quality adds a bonus charm imo.

I wish them luck for a variety of reasons. They're both extremely talented so I'm excited to watch them progress in new musical projects. However it just reaffirms to me that Versailles isn't coming back ever. I guess that was confirmed a while back but like I kept hearing people say that they will be back just be patient but if they're already not interested in being a part of Jupiter they probably won't be interested in reforming Versailles. In either case I hope this means that Jupiter will regroup with equally as talented members and try to make better music and I can't wait to see what Yuki and Masashi do with their lives.

I agree that you can't judge an anime by its cover/first episode but Knights of Sidonia is one of the few exceptions. It's the kind of show where you will either like it or hate it from the beginning. I got halfway through the second season waiting for the plot to deepen immensely before I realized it wasn't going to happen. The whole set up is hit and miss with some people. I can only watch humanity "barely survive against an enemy we're totally outclassed against" shtick for too long before I get bored. Plus, I don't feel like there's a very good overall objective, or at least one good enough to keep my interest. Where are they going? How will they be safe? How did they not run out of resources yet? Does anyone really care about Tanikaze? Also, how do you have a rock with a giant fucking gun on it floating through space that's approximately the size of Manhattan and not have every single inch of that rock on watch?

I didn't really care for the B-sides but UGLY is a beast of a track. Has one of the best choruses in a Gazette song since 'RED'. The title track alone makes the single worth listening to even if the the B-sides feel a bit dull (but still enjoyable).

Has anyone anything to say about this? Because I frankly got NOTHING to say. It's so bland and generic, they could as well have put TABOO on it three times. But as always, never judge an upcoming Nightmare album by it's A-Side...

Man, I've watched several anime lately that just were so poor that I couldn't even get past the first episode of them. Ranked from terrible to worst. Rokka - "Oh hey, I'm a badass!" No you aren't, you are just obnoxious and OP. So much rule of cool with not enough substance to feed a starving orphan. God Eater - If you look at still frames, it's quite lovely. Too bad the it doesn't really hold up that well in the animation. All of that said, it's the piss poor story and pacing that kills it. Like I don't even understand the pacing, it's all together way too fast and makes -no- sense. Knights of Sidonia - I understand that this is the pilot episode BUT I have no idea how anyone would have approved this show after watching this utter trash. The writers wouldn't know tone if they were swimming in an ocean of it. The character are bad - from their designs to their interactions. The animation is crap 3D. The music is....wait, did they forget to put the music in this show? Like seriously? Even if the plot was decent, it would be too late to save this show, but never fear, that too is also a pile of steaming crap. And MAL has their average ratings at 7.7, 7.3, and 7.9 respectively. Unless these all have bigger surprises that Jesus rising from the grave, then then holy shit people must think that having a brain aneurysms is like at least a 6 out of 10.

i agree with a lot of the viewpoints in the topic i find japan lives seem really rigid and thats not my personal taste for a show, but at the same time western lives are too loose, with the odd drunk singing off key behind ur ear ruining the song and people fucking crowd surfing unnecissarily and doing another annoying shit and overall just not being conscious of others the phone thing is annoying though, im trying to have fun and dance around not worry about ur fucking footage bro like a pic or short clip is fine but put it down after a while plz or just go to the back.

I have only listened to the album twice, but so far I really like it. It's got a rawness that's more reminiscent of "forest at the end of a river" than their previous LPs ("VIEW" and "PURPLE"), which is a welcome surprise for me. It's a fairly simple and kinda effortless album (not in a bad way), and the beauty of it lies in that for me, how it just sounds like something familiar that fans would enjoy after so many years without any new music, which is exactly how I felt after listening to it. SCLL's music has always been comforting to me, and hearing this was a really great experience and I'm sure I'll keep spinning it, especially on those moments where you just want your mind to drift off and enjoy some quiet music. I do agree that there are not many standout songs in the album per se and that's it's best enjoyed as a whole - which is how I always listen to their albums, so it's not really an issue for me lol. However, azure, feel uneasy and constellation were the ones that hooked me up the most throughout these two listens. Anyway, I'm just happy they were able to come back and hope they don't disappear completely and that life lets them keep on making music.

Thanks for the recommendations, I'm liking this place already! Plastic Tree was very different from what I remembered. A bit slower music than what I usually listen to but it gave a nice tranquil feeling... or maybe it was the alcohol that did that? DADAROMA I had heard before. I listened to their halloween song some time ago and it was pretty bad imo But luckily I gave them a new shot. They're cool. definitely need to listen some more. MUCC is cool and all, but not my cup of tea

Masashi's vocals are perfect for it :'D i find myself playing this at least once every day lol, it's a special song to me it's such a bittersweet song i can't even describe how i feel when i listen to it ._. ok back on topic: i've preordered their new single already looking forward to hearing the preview ^^
