Timely paid for the Family Mart radio promos. Dadaroma and Razor also got them for almost all their releases since last fall. Idk how much that really helped them, though. I saw two big changes in the crowd this year, but rather than the radio promo I think it was because they played with Dadaroma, Razor and DOF a lot. There are a lot of Dadaroma fans that started coming from the twoman tour last year and the kaenbin tour this year. Also no, not every show from the last tour sold out. Both days in Nagoya, Osaka and Tokyo and one of the days in Sendai were sold out but for the whole tour they only played at super small venues that hold around 100-130ish people. So yeah, sold out but they only played to a small crowd. Yesterday was technically "sold out" in that all the tickets were sold but the venue wasn't completely filled. There was a crazy girl who bought 70 tickets and definitely didn't sell all of her extras. The same girl did this shit on Halloween as well which was also "sold out". XAA-XAA also likes to say lives are sold out when they're not so don't trust them on that. (speaking as a fan) I've been going to XAA-XAA's lives for almost 3 years and I can tell you with confidence they will never play Belmosaic songs. They have no reason to. 名も無き空へ, however, was originally a song from 6-sense (Kazuki, Reiya and Haru's band before Belmosaic) but I haven't heard them play it since Roji left the band.

Of course its great to sell out a venue regardless of size, however, they legitimately sold out bigger venues when Roji was still in the band and before that crazy girl started coming. I don't think they'll ever reach the same level of popularity they had around the time they released 雨に殺される. I wouldn't go so far as to call them scummy but speaking as a long time fan I don't approve of some of the ways XAA-XAA are selling themselves recently, ie having more instores than lives, raising oneman ticket prices when they're still not a big band, having a 50,000 yen ($500) fanclub trip to Nagano when bigger bands like Royz and Diaura have better trips for around the same price, etc. I still wish them the best, though. As for An, yes, he's not as popular as the other three but the old fans have warmed up to him and he has gotten a few more fans besides those who followed him from Elm. I personally still don't like him but I was a big fan of Roji.

In another tweet they refer to him as a "mysterious skillful guitarist" so who knows, maybe Arimura-san has more talents than just asthmatic wheezing and strumming power chords. (:

The industry's grip on gazette isn't as tight as it is for smaller acts. They would never have said something like that ten years ago. All I'm saying is, just because kiryu doesn't complain about their ridiculous workload doesn't mean it's all fine and dandy. Especially with the timer counting down on the band as Mahiro's illness gets worse, kiryu is gonna get milked to death. It isn't sustainable.

There's nothing better than knitting while drinking tea and listening to Final Fantasy soundtracks. Makes me feel so cozy and relaxed.

They are really on a tear right now. A couple of their recent singles got picked up by Family Mart radio, so it was being played around konbinis all over Japan and that really helped them. I think every show from the last tour, plus 雨の日, sold out. Keep it going, guys! Just give me a 2nd album next year, ok?

Their new single 「死んじゃったポチの話」(Shinjatta Pochi no hanashi) will be released on 2019.03.20. Their DVD LIVE will be released at the same date. The single will be about pets being abandoned.

They haven't had any gigs since the two members' last one, but tomorrow they're performing at the JACK IN THE BOX 2018 event at Budokan with other bands, and if I'm understanding it correctly based on the below tweet, Daiki from HER NAME IN BLOOD and Miya from MUCC will step in (for that one live). edit: it might be that MUCC's Miya is playing with HNIB and not NB, not sure...? In any case, Daiki is sure to play guitar for NB tomorrow.

What does not getting a following in the US have anything to do with what Noah does in Japan? lmfao. I haven't been following the ex-Avanchick guys very closely but I've seen Noah Project play with Amai Bouryoku and Gosan a few times in the past year (maybe late 2017, early 2018?). I know Noah has a lot of haters and I don't particularly like or dislike him but he hasn't fucked with any yakuza as far as I know so I doubt he's blacklisted. Even if he was that doesn't really matter cause he's pretty much the co-owner of Club Science. He could just keep playing there.

So it is a mini album. Bummer.

Standard TBS fare, which ain't a bad thing, but... with horrendous production and constant skank blasts. It completely overshadowed the guitar work and made the song extremely boring to listen to.

Because typically albums are released bi-annually or later to give the artist time to tour, promote, and namely rest at the end of each cycle. Announcing it this soon means it's been in the pipeline since before the last album dropped, which only leads me to believe they already have several other singles lined up for right after this one comes out. --- There's a difference between working hard and being worked to the bone. I get that they've been at the top of the indies scene for a few years now and that that has to be capitalized on before fans get bored, but at some point there will be burn out. I like their music, but I dislike the circumstances they're put through to produce it.

Here's my attempt at transcribing this song. I only used the lyrics from the music video, and I think all of the kanji is correct, but I am unsure about some of the romaji since it sounds like some of the pronunciations used in the song aren't true to the kanji used. So please comment with any suggestions or questions if you have any! I've also tried to separate the lyrics into sections to make it easier to follow along with the song, but this is only based on how the song sounds to me, so I'm sure they're not separated this way in the lyric booklet. The band have made a statement in which they said that as their guitarist ひな太(Hinata) did not come to perform with them and because they lost contact with him, they fired him. Apparently, ひな太(Hinata) had said to them that he was not feeling well and that he would not perform with them on 2018.12.24.

I’ll see them live on January 5 and offer shopping service for their goods!
