Yeah, my thinking is they probably go the same route as MERRY (I assume), with support musicians. SATOchi was such a staple of the band (just like the other members), it wouldn't feel right to recruit a new full-time guy.

I've counted my CD collection today. It appears I own over 220 CDs. I swear I'm gonna run out of space one day and my house is spacious xD

There are some good Chinese dishes without any meat, and some of it is pure deliciousness! I really enjoy Chinese and Vietnamese foods. There are so much flavor, spices, and ingredients that it's hard to get bored, eating the variety of cuisines. My mouth waters thinking about steamed vermicelli rolls, roast pork belly, peking duck, ma po tofu (spicy tofu with meat - it's super good!), chicken curry, banh mi, pho (with all of its variations), and fresh spring roll/rice paper roll. I also like Japanese foods (no surprise) with tempura, yakisoba, and okonomiyaki being some of my favorites. I've had less chances to eat Korean and Thai foods, but I've enjoyed what I've tried. I think there's a joke around my house where we say that to have a proper Asian meal, you must always have rice, lol. I've also eaten Indian and Nepalese food and liked it, but I've had less opportunities to eat these. The same also goes with African food - the stuff I've tried out is really good. With that said, I also have a weak spot for European and North American dishes. Pasta, ice cream, chocolate, and the list goes on I guess I pretty much like to eat/try out anything as I think there's always something fascinating and interesting about foods 😅

I don't really follow MUCC, despite liking a few of their songs, but I'm still a bit sad to hear about this. 23 years is such a long time to be in a band - especially with the same line-up. Must have been a hard decision to make. On a side note, it's going to feel weird living in a world where the drummers of MUCC and ROTTENGRAFFTY don't randomly look like brothers. They've gotta find another guy with that look, or the balance of the world might be thrown off. 😅

The music is good enough for me to ignore their sales gimmicks. The best band in VK, and actually, the only one that even bothers to try and innovate the form somewhat.

I was in email contact with Ryonai (Blam Honey) between 2008-2009. He liked my music enough to include it on their final memorial album Providence of Decadence. He also asked me for multitrack stems so he could perform my version live. I have no idea if this ever happened, although I'm pretty sure that a final live show did occur.

CULLUCOO VISION (and its PV) always cheered me up when I'm feeling down. It reminds me that I gotta stay strong for the end of the semester and for Christmas!!!

I started watching Demon Slayers, and I'm enjoying the plot so far. I'm interested in the strong bond that Tanjirou and Nezuko share, and I also like Tanjirou's character. I can't wait to see what kind of role the supporting cast/side characters will play. Picked up Fruits Basket (the remake) since I remember watching the original anime many years ago. I'm curious to see how this new one will turn out, considering the anime technically never finished the plot as the manga was still ongoing at the time. Sad to hear that the new Inuyasha anime is turning out to be more fanservice than actual story plot, though.

You know what makes me feel old? In my head Diaura are still 'kinda a newer band' and I just realized some of those CDs came out almost a decade ago. I'll have to spin Genesis today I remember liking it.

My sentimentts exactly. Just to add more fuel to the dissapointment rail, yes, it is experimental but the songs don't achieve anything, making them forgettable. Album title on point, at least. Now, I'm gonna listen CHEDOARA to rid off the bad taste.

Wow, now that's a feel. I played out my home made copy of Aliene Ma'riage's Les Soirée in high school and it was a shock to hear some of these songs again at a quality above 96 kbps when I revisited the album almost 10 years later. By the way, you mention you're french, are you familiar with Tanja? She used to have her own website with live reports going as far back as 1998. That place was a goldmine for me back in the day and it still remains an exclusive source of info outside of Japan for some of the more obscure bands she covered. Pleaseeee I’ve been crying for two days already when I got the e-mail from the fanclub 😭😭. Never in my life I’d think I would see “important announcement” from MUCC and get scared and want to burn the e-mail. This band has done so much for my heart, has given me a solid reason to continue giving my best and the fact that one of the members decided to go on his own path saddens me so much, but at the same time I can only respect his decision. It wasn’t a sudden one, this man has been thinking about it and finally talked with the members in May 😭. Satochi seems like such a bright happy soul, but when I read in their book and other interviews how he’s dealt with suicidal thoughts and all that and yet still managed to be such a great musician, makes me so proud as a fan. I can only support them all and continue to love this band.
