In fact, all of the ones listed below have been on my road trip rotation. I couldn't choose 5 actual "top" albums, so I went for densely packed albums/best-ofs w/ my favorites. There were artists like xTRiPx, ViViD, and クラビア (Clavier) missing b/c my favorite tracks were too scattered to include a single album. I remember listening to Macabre right after Gauze when I first started listening to Diru and I was really just confused. Like I didn't like it but it wasn't bad either. It was my least fav album for a while until I listened to it to it again and now I consider it Dir En Grey's most unappreciated works.
