  1. Well I understand that people might not browse this forum religiously like I do ( lol ) and the search engine does suck so you might never now if a topic has been gone through many times or not. This topic however has been discussed many times and the forum policy is that it'll stay as it is, because there's just no ethically consistent way to deal with MH PREMIUM MEMBER section other than either to kill it entirely and or keep at is it, as the latter is, in my opinion, the obvious answer here. Not mention about the labour this will bring on the mods when they'd have to go around culling shit that's available on multiple different platforms from purchase to streaming on spotify.

And to Delkmiroph, I don't care about any rockstar tryhard's band career. There are tons of musicians on this earth making music non profit and with very sparse touring and releasing schedules. It is only vk that is so obsessed with this collector and band white knighting attitude.

Ever considered that maybe not every bandoman is a high school dropout without a real job on the side? Just saying.

Then the majority of their income comes from their job as a physics professor or as a host, I reckon.

This horse has been beaten to death on this forum. When children are starving and people are being droned and shot all over the world with the compliance or the guns of the governments most of us belong to, then even considering to pose downloading music as an ethical question is stupid and embarrassing. There's no reason for anyone here to care, those who download will dl and those who won't won't. I stream bands on spotify when they are there, I bought Anfiel's second album digital because i liked them back then, I wouldn't pay a buck for david if it's able for purchase online because I think they suck, but I'll still dl it to know what it's about — everyone else will continue to do more or less the same unless they have a mental disorder where they live vicariously through their fave bandmen.

  3. I honestly don't know what there is to gain by white knighting some high school dropouts rockstar dreams in the year 2020. The world is in lockdown, the polar caps are melting; I think if you're making art for profit in this age then you can fuck the right off and get a real job, even if it's visual kei where half of the appeal of this niche comes from the weird economy that sustains it.

Not starting a debate but people have the right to be upset about his hat. Wearing Nazi stuff is illegal in a lot of countries and Europe have history with nazism.

Bandmen wearing shit like this in the 90' was maybe cool but in 2020 it's just kinda stupid, and the rest of his outfit doesn't suit the nazi hat aesthetic.

The band with the 90's gimmick has the 90's and japanese rock 'n roll as a reference point so when the spread of white nationalism obviously wasn't his intent, then all Karma is guilty of is just not reading The Symbolic Gestures of White People on Twitter memo that was sent being to everyone irregardless of their culture and nationality.  I'm not saying that we can't be cognizant of the fact that it's dodgy and ignorant of the feelings of people halfway across the world, but looking at this shit on twitter I thought it's over my dead body that these morons start policing vk.

  5. I don't mind it. I like the idea sort uhh yeah. Not their best tho.

By the way thank fucking christ by the way these pig gaijins on twitter don't realise that he dun' speak no english, 'cause if he did, I'd be embarrassed. When did these people start listening to vk? Karma is obviously going for some old Japanese rock aesthetic with the hat and the song and the rest of it, so sorry if the rest of the world doesn't give a shit about what some Americans and Europeans on their white man's burden quest of civilising the world think about their hats.

  6. I'm enjoying the spectacle despite that aside from my own life I stand to lose as much as anyone else ( financially, old relatives etc. ) I took a bus coming from Germany to Estonia and it was amazing to see people with scarves wrapped around their heads shuffle from one end of the bus to another every time someone coughed. It'd be amazing if these people took such interest in the lives and affairs of other people from other continents. I remember all the jokes about China so fuck fortress Europe, no sympathy for out of shape white pigs coming back from their ski holidays now squirming in their holes among piles of toilet paper hoping that corona won't get them before their arteries clog from all the meat they've been eating.

Just went to the supermarket with my parents and there were throngs of people carrying toilet paper, and the section for it was nearly empty. In Finland we have these small shower heads next to the toilet so the paper is ENTIRELY USELESS.

  8. Everything about this is just bad. Shoutout to Issei who also without a doubt has no assets but is nonetheless able to run a professional or at least an aesthetic looking band that even at their worst are not like this disaster. The background music is Lets 100% and it's so fucking bad, like the editing and the questions and answers and everything else. It's like the album: ugly and badly produced with some good ideas hidden in there under all that dross that has been mangled and warped by Let's shitty auteur touch.

  9. I don't think I've ever seen another vocalist struggle as much performing their songs live as this dude. It's not like Kyo or Oliver Sykes or something where after performing 6/5 level for a few years their throats called it quits, but every single clip I've ever seen of them Chiaki has managed to get like just half way into what it sounds like on CD and with nothing else to compensate that with.

  10. I love it. It almost makes me feel like I'm listening to real adult music that i'm not ashamed to tell people i like™

Infinitum grew on me as well. I think my first reaction was totally enamored, first of all because it's vk in the 2010's that actually shows some ambition to be more than just japanese nu metal or indie too rigid to actually be indie, but then I started thinking that well it isn't exactly ADORATIO; now almost an year later I'm able to accept it for what it is. ADORATIO is an impossible act to follow and that's just how it is. These are the most talented players in this particular game and with their music they almost manage to compensate for an entire genre that resists experimentation or unconformity literally until it has to be dragged kicking and screaming into the new decades.

A lot of Kisou’s lyrics read like they were coming from a 15 year old struggling with inexplicable boners and angry feelings.
