Should I dye my hair auburn? Whenever I see someone with really nice hair and I think it looks nice, I usually think it looks better when they go auburn but I'm not sure if I should... I might just put it off for ages and not actually do it, but I'm considering it.

So I had a blood test on Thursday and they said they'd call back in three or four days if anything abnormal arose. The receptionist called me back today saying they weren't happy with my blood and needed to see me ASAP, although she also said it's nothing they can't treat, so I guess that means I'm probably in the early stages of something serious? Guess I'll find out on Wednesday... wish me luck, guys. The receptionist did. 😕

Thanks, guys! That's really reassuring to hear from all of you, and I feel a lot more relaxed after reading this

So I'm on FFXIV and I see this lalafell called Fish Fingers who bears the title of THOT, so naturally, I examine him. He sees this and examines me back and our characters are just staring at each other for about a minute before he dances for me. His friend then shows up and pays me 30,000 gil just to pet three lalafells. I am now friends with Fish Fingers and I can safely say that this is the most perfect game in existence.

The Striking Tree (Extreme) in FFXIV is almost as bad as the Aurum Vale @_@ although as it's a trial, at least I don't have to go through a dungeon to get to the boss.

Today I learned there exists a fetish for dragons fucking cars.

Ugh, I fucking hate hay fever so much. Spring is my favourite season, but the pollen can fuck right off 🤧 the one thing I'm allergic to and it's practically invisible.
-
I am also having allergy, and spring is my fav time. So I am eating allergy -pills, and sniffing all the time. And it's making me tired 😷 Annoying, but I sleep a lot 🙁 And have handkerchief in hand all the time

Well it's a leap year and you know what that means that's right we have to wait one extra day until the new Animal Crossing game comes out

Well, back to college tomorrow. It's not gonna be fun getting up at the ungodly hour of 7:30am tomorrow, but I gotta do it
-
Well, I got into my next year of college but they said they're gonna kick me out if I don't improve by October. Yet more proof that I'm a good kid but dumb as a rock.
-
College education, while valuable and enriching, doesn't determine the success or level of intelligence of an individual. Just look at people like Albert Einstein or Bill Gates who dropped out and turned out fine (heck, better than fine). In this day and age, I think it's more about what your goals are and how much work you put into achieving them. Not to discount college, but there are much more resources online now that allow people to learn just about the same content. The only difference is that it's less rigid and allow you to focus down on what you actually care about.
Obviously, this is a general statement and it varies on what you want to do, but I think you're gonna be okay. Keep your chin up! And don't be afraid to fail. Learning from your mistakes is just as invaluable. -
I feel you. I'm in my last sem but am pretty much facing the same thing.
All I can say is good luck, work hard and smart, and a college degree doesn't determine your future! More importantly, take care of your health and finances too.
(unless like me, you're stuck in a tiny country where participating in the rat race is mandatory but that's another story 😌)
Also kind of ranted here, sorry!

Well, my 2019's off to a good start! My friend gave my number to a cute waiter for me today (I was too shy to do it myself >.<) and he accepted~ idk if he'll actually text me, but it's a load off my mind either way.

Well, my Wacom Intuos M got here a day earlier than expected, so that's great... only, it came free with Clip Studio Paint, but the licence key isn't working! I might have to buy a new version of it. Big oof. I've contacted them, but I dunno if there's anything they can do. Oh, well. I made very cute cupcakes today, so I guess that softens the blow a bit. 🤷♀️
-
clip studio has a free 30 day trial when you register a basic account with celsys.
they'll work something out if you contact either wacom support or celsys support in the meanwhile.
it's a time-limited license anyway, I would wait until the next sale and get a proper one, they go for around $25.
enjoy your wacom! 🌟

Welp, after over a year of my beloved hair bow and I having been together, it has finally broken. I will have to buy a new one, and until then, I will wear a hat (I just like to have something on my head). Hats don't suit me that well, though #VisualKeiProblems

Welp, I have my first day of hospital work experience tomorrow. I'm basically going to be doing a nine-to-five job for four weeks but instead of getting an actual paycheck, I'm being bribed with Universal Credit. Wish me luck and pray I don't crap my pants out of fear!

What are your plans for Valentine's day this year? I'm going to be making a tenancy awareness course appointment and playing an otome visual novel because I don't have a real date.
-
It's really good! The art and music are absolutely gorgeous, as per usual for Otomate (the company that made it). It's difficult in that it's just so hard to get the guy you want. There are twelve of them, and if you're not careful, you unfortunately won't end up with anyone at all, but even if that happens, it's worth it for the story. I won't spoil anything, but I will say that it's set in 1860s Japan and you learn a lot about that time period from it. You come for the bishounen and you stay for the history lesson, lol. Also, check out my cover photo. It's a screenshot from my favourite scene in Kyoto Winds. X)

When can I edit my rank? I'm already sick of being Kisaki's errand boy.

Why am I so bad at comforting people? I can't listen to someone without feeling like I have to say something back, and if I don't know what to say, I feel useless. It wouldn't be so bad, but everyone just kind of expects me to "be there" for them when I know I'm not compassionate enough for that. Maybe I should re-evaluate whether I really want to become a therapist. I want to work with children, so I guess that'd be a bit easier as children generally tend to want a straightforward solution as opposed to the "there, there, it's going to be okay" that a lot of adults want (you'd think it'd be the other way around, but it's not), but it still wouldn't be totally easy for me.
-
We can feel powerless about comforting people, believe me,i've been there,on both sides (trying to comfort and in need to be comforted),and sincerely there's not much to worry about.
if you can't be the "wise one",just show that you care wholeheartedly.Know that sometimes people know exactly what's going on and exactly what they need to hear, but words don't mean shit at that especific time,so demonstrating your feelings is enough.a hug,a look in the eye,a smile,etc...

Why is art so bloody difficult? T_T
-
The way I try to overcome it is to try new things like using a different medium, draw something you never usually draw, use a technique from artists you admire, find inspiration from other artists, or even take a break from drawing and find inspiration elsewhere like going outside or even watching a movie. Like everything else, art takes time. And tbh, you will never feel like you're art is good enough. Sure, there are times when you may feel like you've done your best work ever, but there's always room for improvement and there will always be someone better than you. But that only makes you put out the best of yourself, always trying to reach that maximum level, except there really is no maximum level. There are always ways to improve your art. But also, always remember to have fun while you're at it~
Anyway, just my thoughts. I run into art block and struggle with art a lot lol.

Yesterday, I learnt that the word "pumpernickel" means "farting demon" in German. Didn't know there was a type of bread named after my grandad (who also happened to be German).
