  1. We,anime fans and gamers are desperately in need of a Tokyo Ghoul 2D fighting game. There's plenty of awesome characters with awesome designs and different skills, just like DBZ or Naruto. Enough with the dynasty warriors-style.

I guess a game would work. I've given up on any TG related animation.

Jump force stinks and DB fighters Z is an example of how a fighting game based on anime must be like. Honestly,i don't know what japan is waiting for...

I don't listen to slam often, but this is some nasty shit, thanks for introducing these. I need to catch Jig-ai live, when (and if) they play again, here.

Gotta love dat slammin'. One more for the road:

  3. I guess we don't need cyberpunk fictional stories and entertainment in general talking about dystopia, loss of identity, social chaos, fight of groups and mass murder anymore...The present reality is pretty much like this already.

  4. MEME's vocalist (L) has a very catchy and distinct voice,as we all know, but how could you take these guys seriously when they come up with bandnames and logos that looks like some bad parody? With such singing skills he should be on he's way to be the next Ruki or something like that.

@Euronymous for what it's worth, Ruki is STILL not far from ordinary and it took him a pretty long time to get to that point lol. I think L is overall a lot MORE skilled than Ruki was at this age in his career and as far as his potential he's got tons but his position as a guy in these bands struggling to take off and the scene being different makes it hard to see that trajectory for him 😕

Your opinion was interesting now, I didn't think that way, thx for that

  5. it's kinda nonsense when people say things like "oh,this single is just X album leftover " , as if bands were obligated to keep reinventing themselves from the absolute zero on each release.

      Ada Suilen

EXACTLY  . It is not expected to remake a new formula if the current one pleased the audience and in first place themselves.

    2. Euronymous

      Euronymous

      Exactly! (2)

Making good music is not an easy task...Furthermore,each band has it's own style and when you do something you like, you just wanna repeat it somehow.

  6. So as you could see,the hype is totally confirmed for Elden Ring, which started being developed since the release of DarkSouls 3 DLC's,and it's going to be a third-person dark fantasy, but unlike SEKIRO, which is more focused on action,Elden ring is more souls-like with focus on RPG elements. I was wondering if we'd get a DarkSouls 4 somewhere in the near future, but this is more than I expected. With a new title they can do things in a way they've never done before. I guess the only thing I wish for this game is a "character selection" like The warrior, the Elf,the dwarf ,etc... instead of playing with the main hero only with classes that basically only changes your outfits and the kind of weapon you begin with. Can't wait for this.

Me too. I am waiting for a good RPG game which makes me feeling the same vibe as TES V, FO4 and The Witcher 3!

  7. I hate when legends of metal die.

And I also hate pondering about death...

  8. dunno about u guys, but the only thing i'm really excited to know about during the E3 is the new game written by Hidetaka Miyazaki (darksouls/borne) and George fucking RR fucking Martin: " ELDER RING ".

  9. I think Gulu Gulu's debut isn't for me. ok, it's just the first one,but I still thinking that Mei should've gone for something darker and serious instead of this crazy-circus vibe.

  10. My grandpa showed me a video about the "apocalyptic plagues" going on around the world lately. That shits crazy .--.

  11. Being in nature always blows my mind. it's kinda hard to believe that those things emerged by itself without any kind of intelligence behind it. I'm not the religious guy,I actually hate it,but nature always makes me feel that something"divine" really exist.

Same goes when I look over the ocean and keep staring.Feels like there's some kind of wisdom trying to speak with me.It's oddly peaceful and also a bit terrifying.

You've pointed something interesting.i always thought that it was something that most of introvert people deal with ,like a huge mosaic of different subjects going on inside the head. I've developed this desire to explore the "dark corners" of my mind, getting rid of issues that I deal with since I have conscience and reach the self improvement.

  12. I prefer physical books, cuz I like to collect things, but PDF flows so much faster, dunno exactly why.

  13. is there any japanese band like Onmyouza? well,i know ningen isu and x-japan...and that's all.

    1. Jigsaw9

      Jigsaw9

Not sure what's the reference point connecting the three bands (kinda old-schoolish Japanese metal?), but I really recommend Gargoyle if you haven't given them a try already. Great mixture of heavy and thrash metal, occasionally with some 'exotic' elements.

    2. Euronymous

      Euronymous

yea,all the three bands are very different from each other lol,i meant that they are the only "out-of-vk-scene" thing that i had some contact with, onmyouza in special,i wanted to know if there's any other band like them in japan, approaching tradicional japanese themes and history, with that iron maiden style.never was a big fan of thrash metal, but i'm enjoying  Gargoyle, thank u (and i got the exotic elements lol)

  14. wanted to make a topic about the positive and negative aspects about finding new bands on internet.I mean,i remember when i didn't have access to internet and each album that i could buy,i used to spend weeks listening to the same stuff.Nowadays there's so many good stuff and infinite options floating online, that even though i discover some  incredible  music  i feel like i never give the "proper" attention it actually deserved due to the fact that i'm always  busy giving attention and discovering other stuff each day.my english suck, but thats it,not sure if its worth making a topic for it. (and of course it is better with internet lol)

    1. zaa_zaa

      zaa_zaa

Naaaaahhh, you are just fine. We live in a world where we are bombarded with new information every day and music is just yet another form of information.

So choosing something that is in abundance is more difficult than when there's shortage of it. And it's a good thing to me, since it's part of progress and progress in general cannot be stopped.

    2. Bear

      Bear

Pros: easy to find new bands, can listen before you buy and so on. And the sheer amount of bands gives you countless options.

Cons: the sheer amount of albums being released makes it so hard to keep up, and to find a proper diamond you basically have to check out a lot of albums because everything drowns among the amount of albums. And I don't feel like I have as much time to give albums the time they need to truly shine.

Back in the days, way before I had internet, the way we bought albums was simple: we bought magazines with reviews and after a while we got to know the tastes of the reviewers. So we knew who was matching our tastes in music and not. So if an album got a proper good review we'd go out to the music stores close to us and give a few tracks a listen there, and then buy it if it sounded good. And then for the next weeks that's the album(s) we'd be spinning on repeat. It was fun, but at the same time we did buy a lot of albums that gave off a good first impression, but we ended up getting rid off. Felt like such a waste of money. Nowadays that just doesn't happen to me, unless I just buy something blind which I do every now and then. Because that's a lot of fun, but sadly too expensive.

This is the same as with movies, video games and so on too. Same shit. When we bought, or even rented, movies and games back in the days we ALWAYS saw/played it through. No matter how bad our first impression was we watched or played the entire thing through. Sometimes it payed off, other times we felt betrayed. :P

well, guys it looks like something to ponder,i'll let it up to any of you create it

because i suck at creating topics and this forum demands some level of quality

so i'd apreciate if any of  you (if want) take the initiative.

Deutschland's MV was intentionally polemic.it always works using political/historical shit to get everyone's attention.but speaking about that track itself ,didn't hear anything special.

  16. it's been more than one year since Yuuki (ex unsraw) released those previews, etc. My guess is that he was about to debut with his new project, but something happened in the middle of the whole process.( i could be very wrong about this) The important is that he has been posting more and more from the studio,so he still working hard. Can't wait for this, love his early 2000's kei style.

  17. Mamireta's new mini is up on Nihon ongaku. Unfortunately none of the tracks had anything special.im out of the hype train.

  18. DEVILOOF's last MV became the new "dir en grey - macabre" of the reaction channels. Most of the reactions are dumb, but can't deny I'm happy for their blow-up
