KISAKI conspiracy? Strange things I noticed related to Kisaki's old bands Levia and LAYBIAL
avaritonista and 2 others reacted to Tokage for a post in a topic
#Wikisakileaks But yeah, at this point I wouldn't be surprised if Kisaki just made these bands up by himself. -
2 pointsI noticed some very strange things about Kisaki's bands Levia and LAYBIAL, which were around in 1993 and 1994. For example, this is the tracklisting of the MISS tape by LAYBIAL. 01. Dejavu 02. MISS 03. virginig Plesures 04. Refuse 05. MOTHER 06. One More Love Official source: http://under-ground-music.com/kisakihppart/english/DiscShosai.php?shohinNo=000009 Also in the mid-90s there was a band called VICE∞RISK. They released the tape Mother and this is the tracklist: 01. Virgining Plesures 02. Refuse 03. Mother 04. One More Love I saw the lyrics sheet with my own eyes, so I can confirm that it's real. Now let's look at Levia's KELOID tape: 01. KELOID 02. PRAY Official source: http://under-ground-music.com/kisakihppart/english/DiscShosai.php?shohinNo=000007 Around the same time there was a band called Nude of J. Their 傷痕 demo looks like this: 01. KELOID 02. 恋に焦がれ愛に埋もれ 03. PRAY I also saw a sheet of this tape, the tracklist is legit. I can upload pics of the VICE∞RISK and Nude of J tracklists, if you guys want to see a proof. So.. Can anyone explain this? For me, it doesn't make sense at all. VICE∞RISK and Nude of J seem to be COMPLETELY unrelated to Kisaki or his bands. I even compared the member names, because sometimes members went into different bands and rerecorded songs they've written for another band, but there's not a single similar name anywhere. Was Kisaki making things up when he decided to release information about this old bands and just took random songtitles of obscure bands from that time? O: Or did the bands just covered each other, which is highly unlikely... I know there's a KISAKI history book out there. Maybe someone here owns it, so we could compare the titles? But I'm 99% sure that it will contain the same information as on that UCP site.

Hi, my name is Giovanni, I have 20 years and I'm from Italy. I love so much Jrock music (only visual kei, the band without make up no, please don't ask me why XD) and I listen it from about 5 years, I listen a lot of band, but my first 6 absolute favorite bands are: the GazettE, AND (even after the disband, forever in my heart <3), MEJIBRAY, DIV, 2nd Dyz (before the new vocalist Aka, I don't like so much his voice ç__ç), Arlequin. I know and follow this site from 3 years, but only now I have decided to sign up. So, I hope to be the welcome, see you soon! -

1 pointI thought about posting this in the global music section since most of the bands I know of are non-Japanese and metal, but decided to put it here anyway. Mods feel free to move it if you think that's best. This is a thead without any originality whatsoever. Llet me just start off by explaining what this thread is about. This isn't a band that went in the same direction as band X, that stole a few riffs or perhaps a whole song or just covered a song or ten. This is about bands that does everything in their power to sound exactly like their heroes, and most importantly, don't try to hide it one bit, while making original music. So no, Sadie, 12012 and all those doesn't belong in this thread. Anyone got any bands like this? It would be much appreciated if you could include the names of the copycats and originals, write a little something about what's so similar I'll start off with a few: Warrhammer (Hellhammer) This is basically a fanatic Hellhammer tribute band that writes their own songs. They have one rule, and one rule only: to sound as much like Hellhammer as possible. In interviews they often talked about how they spent years to gather the proper equipment to resemble the production (guitar tone, bass tone, drum sound etc.) as perfectly as possible, and - despite the albums' popularity - they often disown their earlier material for not sounding similar enough to Hellhammer. The sound is very similar both song- and production-wise, and their coverarts, logo, and album titles refrence those of Hellhammer The copycat The original Apokalyptic Raids (Hellhammer/Celtic Frost) Same as above, just not as fanatic. But the sound is similar, and their coverarts, logo, and album titles refrence those of Hellhammer and Celtic Frost (the continuation of Hellhammer). These guys have a bit more of their own sound than Warhammer, though, but still to be considered copycats. Very much so. The copycat The Original Hellfire (Bathoy) Bathory copycat to the core. The album sounds like a lost Bathory album from 84/85, especially the first 3/4th of the album. The copycat The original Insane (Slayer) These guys can't get enough of "Show No Mercy" and decided to make something that sounded like it was written by Slayer in 82, but not considered good enough by Slayer. The copycat The original I'll come back with more.

1 pointI can vouch for this. Not as close to the original as some of the other bands mentioned here, but the whole album reeks of Mercyful Fate/King Diamond anno 82-86. Great band, and they've got a new album comming. New song was fabolous, and much closer to their debut then their second one. Worth checking out for fans of King Diamond/Mercyful Fate. Cast Iron (Running Wild) They sound and look like Running Wild did before they got obsessed with pirates. The copycat The original Disclose (Discharge) Disclose is Discharge with more fuzz and distortion. A rawer sounding Discharge. The copycat The original Incarnator (Bathory) This old Norwegian band worshipped Bathory's second album, The Return. Not much is known about this band other than that it sounds like old Bathory and sounds amazing. The copycat The original

1 pointMourning Noise (Misfits) This band started a few years after Misfits, but were from the same area and knew some of the members of Misfits and focused on horror-related themes for most part as well. One of the members would later play in other Danzing-related bands. You won't find a better Misfits clone/copycat than this. The copycat The original Kinstrife & Blood (Summoning) Epic/atmospheric black metal in the vein of Summoning. Everything about the music here, from the sound, to the way the drums are programmed, to the songwriting just screams Summoning. The copycat The original Caladan Brood (Summoning) While a lot more original than Kinstrife & Blood, there's still so much Summoning over the sound here that it's impossible to view them as anything but a Summoning copycat band. The copycat The original

1 pointSorry, it's only the lyrics; not the song. I don't have the CD. Found a lyric card scan here: http://www.discogs.com/viewimages?release=3839357 If anybody reads this and finds errors, please let me know!

What happened to that Movie UnsraW was supposed to be in?
lichtlune reacted to inartistic for a post in a topic
This seemed interesting so I searched about it... Apparently the movie was called Kokuhaku (告白). You can find info by searching 映画「告白」. The overseas title is Confessions, and it seems easy enough to find at those “free streaming” sites. I read that UnsraW was featured as a live act in the movie, but not sure if they really were after all... but maybe you can watch it and find out for us! -

1 point^ Pretty much. The tax percentage on CDs is 21% (it used to be 12% or something but they included it in the 21% group lately) so on a package of 25 euros you pay like 5 euros of tax which isn't that bad at all. I mean for 5 euros I wouldn't mind ordering at CDJapan but having to pay 18 euros extra to the company, lmao, go eat a dick.

1 pointI'm actually a little pissed that we've been waiting for a decent live DVD for almost 10 years (as stated above) and then they only sell it via their online shop and in two types. That's just ridiculous. So if a foreigner wants it, he has to pay extra costs for a shopping service. If we want to see their whole perfomance, we need to buy two DVDs because it's cut in the middle. Sadie are signed to the same label and you get their DVDs thrown at your feet. How many do they have by now? 8? 9? 150? And all Awoi ever offered was crows after growing which is low quality live clips with the CD's music playing to it and the live that was on the B-Type of the Owari no Melody mini. Quality was equally horrible. No Awoi, just no.

These are all relatively old... I collect Sailor Moon stuff so there's a bunch of that all over. Photos are of my home office, it's pretty haphazard and looks like a 12yr old exploded atm, when I move I plan on actually making it look more presentable haha Desk, some VK and Rozen Maiden posters, Half Life poster, Sailor Moon backpack and tote set. Kozi Memento promo poster, bootleg Syndrome poster, rozen maiden poster, 2 phantasmagoria posters from Cure Another Syndrome poster that you couldn't see in the above photo, D and Undercode posters from Cure Sailor Moon posters and assorted collectibles. ( <3 my Sabu action figure ) More collectibles and posters (I'm missing bubbles, have had these PPG plushies for years and mother's dog got a hold of her many years ago and I never replaced her :x ) -
