If you know of any particular interests your date has, try to get them something pertaining to that (obvs nothing too big). Otherwise, flowers are always a nice option.

@Gesu I'm afraid, flowers are his gift 😅 perfectly know his interests, but not sure if he own something or not... (same with me, we're both just a stereotypical otaku, both into vintage manga, goth/post-punk things and fashion... this is really difficult 😣)

If you're into the same thing, then it's easier to know what to get. A volume of a manga he likes? A gift voucher to a manga store? A small accessory like a pin or brooch. Anyway I always think you can't go wrong with food because it's useful and enjoyable. Doesn't matter the price of the candies, but if you're worried see if there's a fancier brand that makes these candies.

@Jigsaw9 thanks!! I was confused by the fact that this genre(?) is nothing about its sound if it has no limits, but everything about its atmosphere... 

Yeah that's a good way to put it I guess.  Usually it's electronic/sample-based music with a slower tempo that evokes a dreary/occult atmosphere, but I've heard some stuff that could pass for trap music or goth-infused hip-hop.

There was a short-lived project by an underground Hungarian producer who dabbled in the latter btw, saw him a couple of times at local witch house parties, pretty cool stuff:

edit: Another Hungarian guy from the same scene, I don't dig his stuff that much but the "evil" atmosphere is pretty cool (he fronted a harsh EBM/aggrotech band before and it shows, heh)

I have this kind of thoughts too... i'm turning 24 soon and just finishing my career but i see friends forming their family, building their houses, etc and while i'm so happy for them it stresses me to think me in that scenario

@benzaiten._ I've always thought that I will be happy if I'll find somebody and then marry (or not, living together also counts), have my own child, and stuff, but suddenly realized that any kind of -close- relationship is... just... ugh... terrifying? I think I will be happy just to love somebody platonically, watch anime together, go to the liveshows, living -esthetically pleasing- life and sleep separately. I think my current -favorite person- is thinking the same, but I'm totally suck at describing my own feelings to the others so I think I'll just die alone （笑）

The one and the only precious queen of his own rosekingdom ♡ suddenly bought normal version of Chanton l'amour 「l'horloge」today, and can't stop joking about what if when I put together limited and normal versions, he will appear like an angel or something, haha😅 he has an instagram and twitter, but he said he want some privacy, that's why he's rarely with us... just like 20 years ago...

Sadly it doesn't work. I already tried it with my copies of Chanton. 😢

@Arkady  I was really surprised that limited version was much easier to get... and it took me 7 years so get normal, and not used...
