Its kind of sad that there’s no one in my country that listens to Vk or any Jrock group. I’ve tried so hard finding any vk/jrock fan but it seems like I’m the only one.

Which Vkei song was the first to experiment with rap-metal? The earliest I can think of is Shikkou Yuuyo Sannen from Kagerou, released in 2001. 

After many years I finally managed to get a hold of a CD I've wanted to get a HQ rip of, only to find that the CD itself is mastered from mp3 files and my brand new FLAC rip has almost exactly the same specs as the old 192kbps files available since time immemorial. Feels bad.

i kind of fell out of vk a good while ago and only came back in 2018, after attempting to catch up some bands i see alot of conflicted opinions around Sadie. im not all that familiar with their stuff but i did listen to the black diamonds and thought it was amazing, so does that mean id enjoy almost the rest of their stuff cause thats considered one of the bad albums everyone hates or is it one of their better albums

After many (many) listenings to DeG's "Gauze", I could moreless figure out which are the sources of the majority of the songs in the album, in terms of styles and bands. For example, "Mitsu no tsuba", "Yurameki" and "Akuro no oka" recall Luna Sea very easily, "Cage" does for X songs like "Rusty Nail", while "304 blablabla", "Zan" and "Mazohyst" do the same for Kuroyume. 

But there are still some songs whose arrangments don't fit in any "constelations" of arranagments I've heard before withing and out of the VK scene. "Yokan", "Raison detre" and "Mask"; the only word that comes to my mind while hearing them is "dance punk", but I can't tell anything else on the subject.

Any ideas?

been trying to get this anthem demo to work but it constantly crashes and freezes. AAA experience my ass that game needs at least 6 more months of development

just gotta drop my 2 cents in a more visible place:

i'm of the opinion that visual kei has been dying for a good minute. but rock "died" in mainstream american music too and its still around. vk will have the same fate. as long as there's japanese people willing to be visual kei, and international english speaking fans willing to listen, then mh will always be here. and even if you have fallen out of love with japanese music, we are still here for you too. at some point, we've grown beyond a site for music and we've become a community and a family, and that is the secret sauce that has allowed us to outlive all our competition.

I’m finding myself really enjoying the GazettE’s DOGMA album this time around 😳 Maybe I should revisit some of their previous releases soon.
