i'll leave one final clarification about "NINTH":
a few months ago i suggested in a post to refrain from sharing NINTH for a week or 2 if we were interested in seeing how much (or how little) of an effect international piracy has on japanese music. this was merely a suggestion. we are not taking any modly actions. NINTH will be treated the same as any other release here, if that's what you all choose to do. i'm very well aware other places will host it as soon as possible and that it will make it's way here in due time. "due time" is up to you. -

No, but he did say in an interview that he never chooses which songs are going to be remade.
So maybe he doesn't listen to the original first but I doubt it. I think they were just trying to separate themselves from their 1997-2001 era for the longest time and since Arche I think they're just finally embracing it.

@chemicalpictures Why submit it so early? There's Still 16 days left in the year and like 30 plus days until the last day you can submit your votes? Also it 's J-Rock Awards so you don't have to vote for any vk if you don't want to.

If there is no better option after extensive seatching then when the topic is posted this can be said and then it's up to the user's discretion. This has always been the rule and exists for old releases which are otherwise unavailable. This does not exist so user's can recycle shit rips from vk.com or YouTube and pass them off as their own. The issue we deal with is exclusively the latter. I haven't seen a transcode of the former category in years. None of the transcodes we dealt with this week fall into the former category. Therefore @chemicalpicturesi see no point in creating a thread to promote behavior we would rather not promote. That's a solution for a problem that does not exist.

3 things:
1. we license the skin, we do not own it or create it. when we update the forum we have to update the skin too. we can make some changes but we are not in control of the creative license behind the skin. if there are big complaints with the skin, you're probably S.O.L. but i can take a look at it.
2. i still have no idea how clubs work
3. any more questions or suggestions concerning the skin should go into the suggestions forum. i miss things here in the status updates.
