I was at a house party last night and I played aizounitsuki by DIMLIM and everyone was feeling it! It felt so good to be around people in an environment like that where they enjoyed my taste in music I’ve not met many people who can appreciate that kind of thing!

I went in to listening to Billie Eilish’s album ‘When we all fall asleep, where do we go?’ with an “I’ll hate this” attitude, but the couple of songs I’ve played on random were actually really good. I’m quite looking forward to seeing her live in August now!

I’ve been listening to Nirvana a lot recently and it makes me wonder what would it have been like if Kurt Cobain hadn’t died? I wonder if they’d still be making music now or if they’d have just disappeared in to the background as grunge started to lose popularity

I think they probably would have turned out like Foo Fighters did. Foo Fighters is essentially their legacy continued, and they're still semi-popular today.

@Himeaimichu It would be interesting to have heard Kurt sing on Foo Fighters tracks, I can imagine his voice being well suited to songs like Pretender and Monkey Wrench! And the popularity thing is interesting, I saw foo fighters live at a festival in august, they were headliners on the Friday night and the place was PACKED. I could only imagine what a crowd Nirvana would pull in if they were still around

Blur were my dad's favourite band! He got me into them when I was about seven and I loved them, but I always got really sad watching the Coffee And TV music video because of those tragic milk cartons ;-;

@TheZigzagoon I actually first came across their American Idiot release first since many of the songs (like Boulevard of Broken Dreams and Wake Me Up When September Ends) were constantly being played on the radio. But I agree! Their 90s stuff were amazing gems.

@Zeus Luckily for those in the UK, we don’t start paying back student loans until we’re earning just under £26,000. Even then, you only pay a percentage based on your yearly salary, and if it’s not paid of by time you turn 50, the debt is written off!

Sadly I’m back at home now Leeds Fest is over 😞 Billie Eilish was really good live! And I saw Foo Fighters for about half an hour which was also decent! I should’ve stayed for that whole show tbh

So a big change in my life occurred recently, I’m single again. Needless to say as a newly single guy I’ve gone off the rails and got piercings done again and started smoking again. Just out here tryna live my best life I suppose!

@yomii The most difficult part atm is that we’re still considering getting back together and I hate not knowing what the outcome will be. And I’m sorry to hear about your eating disorder, I hope that you’re well and in good health! And that sounds like something I’d do tbh I’m no stranger to doing questionable things to my hair, but pink hair is the best hair!! XD My smiley piercing is a little bit sore, my nipple piercing is fine it just has it’s sore moments when I’ve caught it!

@yomii It’s not really tiring, I’m just trying to be patient for the outcome! Thank you! And I’m so glad that you’re okay now! Eating disorders are scary and no one deserves to live through that kind of pain, proud of you! The nipple piercing was my most painful piercing I’ve had done, and even then it wasn’t THAT bad, it definitely made me wince when the needle went through, other than that it was fine! Thank you! XD
