  1. I'm playing a gig in two hours. I'm so scared, fuck! No matter how many times I played live, still can't avoid getting THE chills!😖😖😖

    May Toshiya be with me!💆🎸🎶

    Wish me luck!

  2. I cant be the only one who think the gazette peaked with dim right

  3. Miyavi is coming to town, and I really want to get VIP tickets, but at the same time, I haven't listened to hardly any of his new stuff (I prefer his older stuff like his Galyuu album)

Decisions, decisions. It would be great to see him, that's for sure.

  4. WE NEED ONE MORE PERSON TO JOIN THE TRADE-OFF!!!!

  5. the gazette show was cool and fun from an experience perspective but it also made me realize that i dont really care for that much of their discog. hopefully diru makes a return someday or one of the newer generation of vk bands become big enough to tour here

  6. To anyone going to see The Gazette in London, do you reckon we’ll need ID to get in? I don’t actually have valid ID, only an out of date passport, I’ll be 22 by time the live is but I’m worried I won’t get in

  7. It's too hot in England 😓

  8. I don’t really like Mucc that much, but this song... is fuckin spectacular.

  14. back on my bullshit, meaning "trawling @robkun's uploads and fiending for bands with budgets lower than my GPA in high school"

  15. After many years I finally managed to get a hold of a CD I've wanted to get a HQ rip of, only to find that the CD itself is mastered from mp3 files and my brand new FLAC rip has almost exactly the same specs as the old 192kbps files available since time immemorial. Feels bad.

      The classic Atmos*note burn 192kbps mp3's to CD's move...

  16. There's a severe lack of the finger-pointing-to-mouth pose in vk member photos nowadays.

  17. Fuuuuuck why are office chairs so expensive?

  18. Do you ever just cling on to an old band way, way too tightly? And I don't mean actually listening to their stuff. I mean just saying you love them when you're actually kinda over them and much prefer someone else. So, for me, that band is DELUHI. Yes, they disbanded before I even knew what visual kei was. Yes, I do still like them. But I keep telling myself they're still my favourite band even though I'm pretty damn sure it's DIAURA.

  19. I wanted to create a topic to talk about some "dark issues",but i'd probably get censored, and sometimes i forget that this is a music forum, after all...

  20. if you concentrate rill hard and imagine yourself in a parallel timeline in which kikasa didn't ditch DlQ for short-lived embarrassment that was shelly trip realize, you can hear the obligatory awful hide tribute covers sang by sakito

  21. Okay Metallica concert wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be. They played like four songs from their new album, then they played a lot of their more popular older songs.

Though I found it odd that Jim Breuer (comedian) was their opening act. Like I guess it was different, but didn't really set me in the mood.

  22. If it wasn't for "Jisatsu ganbou", "Meikyou shishui", "Re:plica", "Rodeo", "-0°C", Due'le Quartz would be actually a prety shitty band. Miyavi was already a fierce player and genuine showman back then, but aside from the songs I mentioned, his compositions were very weak plagios of MISSA-era DEG songs like "Zan", "S" or classic "Byoushin". Seriously, it's very hard to listen to their discography entirely, and Sakito's voice makes it only more painful (I'm sure his voice will be remebered as one of the worst to have ever reached the scene).
Bassist and drummer were skilled, too, but their arrangments didn't add anything interesting (Re.plica and Rodeo are the coolest ones, in this sense).
I don't understand how they became so succesful back in the day, considering 2000-2001 was the era in which VK started to dramatically lose all the little, but overall significant, attention it got from the mainstream audicence.

  23. I listen to VK 98% of the time, but that other 2% is spent listening to Coheed & Cambria and honestly, their new album that comes out Friday is sounding really promising.

  24. I think I need to buy really really high quality and expansive headphones to enjoy The Insulated World properly. Cuz that mix is awful

  25. Nightmare/ナイトメア may have gotten a lot of their popularity from Death Note but they deserve their place among the best visual kei bands of all time imo. Love this band! 😍
