For my fellow fans of Traditional Japanese music, here's something interesting: Hikaru Sawai, son of the Koto master Tadao Sawai, started the proto-VisualKei Metal band Mephistopheles. His Koto work is also very Metal influenced.

IDK if he still plays in Mephistopheles though.

The Down Deep Dope is pretty good. Not very innovative though, but at least Aryu is not screeching like a banshee in every song.

Still can't decide if I will do my summer vacations in Afghanistan or Pakistan.
Pakistan has the cheaper Visa and Lahore has a really cool and nice indie music scene - but Afghanistan is really interesting too ;____;
