Set list from their first one-man last night!! I will never understand why people stand in the back at a freaking ONEMAN, but whatever. I had a great time! For Shangri-la we did the circle mosh and Ryo was trying soooo hard to get the people in the back involved but they were having none of it. lol at one point the shikiri just ran straight at someone in the back to get them involved (I think they were friends though? lol) but yeah despite those people, it was great ^^ And Mamoto was there! And other bandmen I didn't recognize cos I suck at recognizing people! lolol Overall, the guys all looked really pleased with themselves. Ryo was all smiles. Hiroki's drum flashed when he hit the snares lol. Omi's face was LITERALLY in my face. He needs to not lean over the bear so far haha Other than Ryo dropping the mic mid song (lol) and not being able to find the mic when he came back on for the encore, it went down without a hitch. ^^ So proud of these guys!! They said thanks about 230947340873 times. It seems like this band is really important to all of them. Hiroki mentioned that Tra3 is the first band he's been a part of since the beginning. Ryo and Omi both said that last night was their first one-man EVER (I forget if Hiroki said if it was his first one-man or not as well. My friend said he did though lol). For Ryo it was doubly special since the one-man was actually ON his birthday. It was a night of "firsts" for everyone I don't think I've ever had so much fun at a live before!! *can't stop smiling*

100% self-taught over 12-13 years, never been to a single class and don't have any Japanese-speaking family or friends. My university offered a beginner Japanese course, but they only had space for like 20 students per semester, so I never got into it. So during boring lectures, I would fill my margins with hiragana & katakana practice. Not really sure how I passed my courses. After I finished school, I bought a couple of grammar books and learned a lot from those. Also learned a TON of vocabulary from doing romaji lyrics, and picked up a lot from watching anime/dramas, and playing Japanese video games. Interestingly, I went to Chinese writing/reading lessons during my childhood but my Japanese ability is far far faaaaaar better. (probably because I had very little interest in Chinese when I was young) I suck at writing kanji/Chinese from memory, but that's mostly due to not practicing it at all. I know all about radicals and stroke order and can *copy* the characters easily. .. Hmm, I voted wrong for the "Speaking" part. I put Intermediate but I really should've put Beginner. My speaking ability is mostly untested, and native speakers talk too fast for me to understand easily. (However, when I went to Japan I was told that my pronunciation is very good)

It appears that Kisaki's twitter account had been hacked earlier tonight. There seems to be no evidence of suspicious activity, other than this tweet, and the fact that the account was locked: The tweet has since been deleted and Kisaki may have been able to regain access to his account.

This band is a lot of fun. Never really checked out early Merry since I kind of missed that boat, but I do enjoy their 2013~onwards stuff. I bought Kindai Black recently thinking it was a new release, but I definitely enjoy it in spite of realizing it was actually released over a year ago 🙃

Heading for a bachelors degree in Japanese at the moment, just started my third year/fifth semester of full time Japanese studies. Focus on reading and translating as it's what I'm going to use the language for in a work setting in the future. I'd say I'm decently proficient at reading at this point (1000+ kanji) but if you asked me to write them by hand the number would shrink by a lot, but then again I've heard it's the same for a lot of Japanese people.
