A fellow tourist who claims to have found the couple has set up a GoFundMe for the parents to help raise $100,000 for their medical bills. The whole story is posted on the site; basically, the dad walked in on some drug dealers when he went to the bathroom, then he was assaulted, and the mom heard him, and suffered the same fate. They had two other children with them (19 & 21 yrs old), but they were nowhere near them when the attack happened. Cult has also added that his father's surgery succeeded today.

I started to vibe with the latest song a little. Reminds me of a post-DOGMA Vermin actually, and that's pretty much as Gazerock as it gets. Leave to the gazette to get all the wind of the hype sails by releasing a snoozer ballad for everybody though

My guess is they couldn't fully recover from Fumiya's death. Judging by the names of their last lives, I think they'll probably reform under a new name.

This is definitely one of the best VK bands to have ever existed, it was among my favorites for a long time. Anyone remember this master piece? Aki was really an amazing singer, I was not able to get into his solo stuff afterwards, it was too experimental for my taste.. but this is definitely a band i will always miss

Hey! Thanks for your post, I found it verrrrrry useful! I really like yumeleep now, if you know other recent bands with "weird" vocalists like him, I would be very happy Zombi I also found quite good! Definitely very promising music. And ORCALADE.... I didnt know about them before and it turns out the ex-singer of MaVerick and Eat-You-Alive is singing for them, which is so awesome ! I used to really like his bands and I still love his voice. So thanks a lot for your recommendation ❤️

Haha, they've been active since '09, and they've had a small following here on the forum, going by the previous news topics. @doombox was posting said news topics which is how I got into them. If you like them, The Winking Owl is another great pop-punk act (they released a split-single together in 2012.) "VOICE", "OVER", and now "Beautiful Lie" are available on Spotify:

Neofolk, martial industrial und so weiter

Part of Laibach's discography can surely be counted as martial industrial, though I'll admit I am not too experienced with the genre. But if not proper martial industrial, they're surely to martial industrial what Venom and Mercyful Fate is to black metal. Anyway Laibach rules. Spectre gotta be my favourite with tracks such as The Whistleblowers and Bossanova as my favourites. But these count more as electro-industrial I guess. Anyway, awesome band and super-superb live band.

The tracklist for the new single (as seen on THE GALLO's official site): 1. PLUTO 2. 大帝都秘密倶楽部-極楽- (Daiteito Himitsu Kurabu-Gokuraku-) 3. 極東恋時雨・櫻 (Kyokutou Koishigure・Sakura) There will also be an original karaoke version of PLUTO. I'm glad to see there will be another song in the "Kyokutou Koishigure" series!

Me too...I've never had a true sadness about a "celeb" death before, and definitely had never had tears over one. Although I guess I don't think he really counts for celebrity since he spoke his mind 95% of the time and especially in his books. I just wish he'd left some sort of reason why, we all can easily speculate but now we'll never really know. Really depressing, I guess it's the only way he could find peace. RIP man.

I mustered the courage the finish NieR:Automata's ending E, after nearly 2 months...needless to say, I was emotionally wrecked. The whole game was downright the best gaming experience I ever had. And Final Fantasy XV finally got mod support, so that is definitely gonna add to my 100 hours of playtime

In terms of bands I think still have their spark, I have to say ダウト. They had such a bad couple of years at PSC, once they left it's been nothing but great releases. Sukekiyo has never disappointed me, although they haven't been around for *that* long. Even the mention of a new release has my mouth watering. I properly discovered Arlequin this year and I'm hooked. They have a solid style where I could point out any of their songs in a crowd and some people have got sick of it or see it as repetitive, but personally i don't think they're disappointing on any areas. Zonbi and GRIMOIRE are my two newcomer favorites. Zonbi's album released earlier this year was fantastic, I still have it on repeat. I hope they have a long life ahead of them. Yumeleep is a weird one. Musicaly they're very promising, but I can't deal with the singer. I low-key follow them hoping he'll drop out but in the mean time I'm trying to get used to it. I think their concept is pretty interesting too, so I'll keep following them. ORCALADE's only release was promising as fuck. Just gotta wait for whenever their next one comes out.

I still think Angelo has their spark (at least to me) because I've literally found their most recent releases pretty enjoyable. HETERODOX seems like it's going to slay my soul. Anfiel's latest release saved me from their 2nd album which kinda killed it for me for awhile, but I still think they have their spark, that album just wasn't my cup of tea. Develop One's Faculties is still bangin' over 3 years later. GRIMOIRE also keeps getting better and better tbh. I don't think Kra will ever lose their spark, but it just sucks that they rarely release at anything. Purple Stone and SHIVA can't make a bad song, so I think they both still have their sparks. vistlip is still going strong too! Bands I'm keeping an eye on: アクメ (ACME) 甘い暴力 (amai bouryoku) DEVIZE dexcore GAMEOVER Initial'L LAVANS LOVE LOCK ルクス (Lux) masaya RAZOR REVIVE Sioux -真天地開闢集団-ジグザグ (zigzag)
