I'm not too crazy about these B-sides. The title track is okay, サンセットビター is not bad, but I couldn't even finish the remaining one, lol.

Weird, I looked it up but the official release date is still 4 weeks away... maybe it's some sort of pre-pre-order special version or idk.

^ It's already out? I was under the impression it'll be released in, like, late July?

Just dropped by to say I'm really enjoying the new Darkthrone album. Perfect old-school mix of (proto)black, thrash and doom.
BIG RIFFS, perfect to play LOUD.
edit: Not sure if I mentioned this before, but the new Ares Kingdom album slays too. Murky death-thrash onslaught.

Nice.

Love the look.

I'm really enjoying this new album, even at times when it doesn't fully align with my tastes. Like, enjoying just the fact that sukekiyo still dares to do whatever the hell they want and still make it sound their own. I was initially very welcoming towards ADORATIO too, but then it kinda sank into a middle-tier category for me, so we'll see how this new one will fare in the long run, but for now I'm just along for this weird mysterious ride.
My favorite tracks: 偶像モラトリアム, 沙羅螺, 本能お断り, 漂白フレーバー
My least favorites: アナタヨリウエ, 君は剥き出し

Wait... so they announced a US show but the tickets are only available to Japanese residents? That's hilarious and fucked up at the same time.
Even if they let non-Jp peepz buy tickets at a later date, that's kind of a dick move imo.

Good to see they're being so active, but I don't have any high hopes for this. To this day I've listened to their "LUV" album a grand total of... one time, and have no desire whatsoever to revisit it (nor "A WILL").

41 minutes ago, sutululu said:Btw anybody could send some recommendation of Kishi's work? Never heard about him before.
He's the DJ/synth player dude.
Other than abingdon boys school he mostly does supporting gigs for random mainstream pop/rock acts. Also worth noting that apparently he produced D'espairsRay's singles FINAL CALL and LOVE IS DEAD (according to Japanese Wikipedia).

Thanks for the live report, it was great to read. I'm also looking forward to your next one, when you have the time.

Heyyyy, this is not bad! Kinda reminds me of 2005-2010-ish indies VK that mixed heavier nu/modern-rock with melodic elements (like Girugamesh and such).
Might keep an eye on these guys. Memorable name too, lol.
