Nice pairing... quite a hard choice too. This will take me some time, lol.
On one hand, I find Kizu's output far more consistent, but DIMLIM has more highlights and memorability in some of their songs (but also some terrible misses). Also, funnily enough, both are bands I didn't quite like initially but gradually warmed up to over time.
Ah screw it, I'm going with Kizu.

All samples sound okay so far. They're generally an 'okay' band, but I can never remember more than a small handful of their songs. So, just as always, I'll listen to this single too, enjoy it while it's on, and then completely forget about this band until their next single comes around, lol.
Not saying this as something negative, I do like their stuff but uniqueness is not really their forte.

Nice. Looking forward to them!

Oh my, that's horrible.
May he R.I.P.

First and last 30 seconds with those monotonous vocals and overused autotune are atrocious, but sandwiched inbetween is a decent song I guess, lol.

B-side sounds far better to me than the title track. Cool sound.

Yeeaaaahhh, bring it on!! This time I won't hesitate with ordering it, lol.

Wow, this band is still alive, huh...

Didn't want to create a separate thread just for this, but the guys uploaded a music video for the title track of their live-limited single "バイオレンス カンフー" (Violence Kung Fu). The single itself was released back around the end of February.

Yep, seems like it. Their twitters are full of in-studio pics.
Looking forward to whatever it will be~
Looks like they have a short string of concerts at July 5, 7 and 19, so hopefully the new music will be released around that time.

@Peace Heavy mk II That reminds me, the parody anime "Excel Saga" actually has some VK in it. Episode 21 is literally titled "Visual K", starring a VK-type rocker dude called Key and his weird antics. Also in one of the episodes (might be ep.1?) the evil mastermind boss of the protagonist is trying to learn guitar and then he's rocking out with a bunch of colorfully dressed up dudes while shouting "visual visual visual!" lmao.

btw the anime series / live-action adaptation of Detroit Metal City could be a pretty accurate portrayal of the average VK musician (even though it's just about some 'standard' metal band). Keeping up the appearance of being br00tal and edgy on stage while secretly wanting to play soft J-pop (looking at you, Tsuzuku, Juri & co)...

Looks like the actual 'normal' live will happen on 7th July.
On 4th they have an autograph panel and are invited as guests to some cooking show (lol ok).
On 5th there's some photoshoot thingie (with the fans I presume?) and an acoustic show.
On 7th again photo, acoustic show and 'regular' live show.

The guy playing him is actually a well-known glam rocker, haha! It's Rolly Teranishi, the singer/guitarist from the band SCANCH.
...almost-kinda VK I guess.
