"In an interview on the general rock information site "Vif", Kiyoharu revealed that he had doubts about Kubota's abilities only one year after the start of their activities. However, it seems he put up with it either because he'd matured or because was being cautious about his longstanding penchant for immediately firing people.

Even so in a 2015 interview he unabashedly brought up Kubota with scathing disses, stating that Kubota didn't work hard enough, that it was pointless working with him, and questioning why he had to volunteer to give him spending money. He pointed out his attitude toward Kubota's practicing habits on the smartphone app "755", and when fans gave remarks in support of Kubota, Kiyoharu stated that he "didn't want to pamper him".

Then, in 2015, Kubota was the only member not to receive a close-up in sads' PV for their new song, "May I Stay". And yet all 4 members appeared on AbemaTV in May 2016. There Kiyoharu publicly admonished Kubota, saying "sads consists of Kiyoharu, K-A-Z, and GO, but we've invited Kubota for the time being". After all this, he was finally fired.

With the firing of their bassist, hopes for the appearance of Kuroyume's bassist, Hitoki (44) as the replacement have grown, but this is not very feasible. Kiyoharu has unfollowed Kubota on Twitter, and if you look closely, he has also unfollowed Hitoki, who he previously followed. As Kiyoharu follows those he is reasonably friendly with, it's possible that he and Hitoki are at odds once more. Able to cut off longstanding associates without hesitation, Kiyoharu is indeed a rockstar. Perhaps it's because he is so stoic that his fans will always follow him."

  2. i've seen the following speculated on tanuki... it sounds like they really don't know anything

    1. drugs
    2. stat rape (with Rio's case there was no way people wouldn't guess this tho)

    3. ore ore sagi

it's very interesting to me that like lynch. with Akinori, Chanty has seemed to be able to dodge the press for now. i really wonder what separates cases like Rio's from cases like Shia's but at this point i have nfi

here's an idea maybe stop feeding it while the thread is still at the more or less sane point of its artpop

don't ever tell me what to do, the last time i got into one of these i made k_m divulge his deep secrets about money for kawaii rendezvous 👀

  4. @Donttalkbackin some way or another he didn't fit the stipulations for a "sincere romantic relationship", which as you kindly informed us up the thread, is usually determined by parental consent. if parental consent was involved he wouldn't have been arrested. what is your point with all this? the dude provided information to the police and the police found that it was sufficient enough to arrest him. if your problem is with the law itself then that's fine, but it doesn't change the reality of what happened and the fact that as it stands, what he did is considered a crime, and one he very stupidly incriminated himself of in an unrelated discussion with law enforcement.

no arrests should have been made if there were no complaints

my bad i thought we were talking about the actual situation and not fantasy. consensual relationship with over 20 male + <18 girl + no parental approval = misdemeanor

Someone physically has to go to the police to actually make a report that these 2 had been seeing each other before they can arrest him. He didn't just walk up in there & go I need to confess

Except he did just walk up in there to talk about another issue and ended up confessing (whether unknowingly or not).

Then be prepared to be very irritated by me jumping in & giving my opinion because I don't believe she's a victom at all & I will voice my opinion, I have read all the news articles & stories that have been released. But I will continue to support Rio & LONDBOY regardless of the outcome. ✌

idgaf who you stan or how hard you want to do it, just don't bring incorrect information when you do it

I'm getting irritated w/ people who didn't read previous posts or didn't/can't read the related articles jumping in so I'll reiterate:
The police questioned him on an unrelated matter, and he provided the information about his relationship w/ this girl.

    事件発覚の経緯となったのは「りお」こと村田賢太容疑者がバンド活動を巡ってトラブルになり警察に相談していたところ、LONDBOY(ロンドボーイ)のファンだった女子高生が被害に遭っていたことが判明。 (https://more-news.jp/article/detail/21537)

"The discovery of the incident started when suspect Kenta Murata AKA "Rio" spoke to the police regarding troubles concerning the band's activities, where it was confirmed that a female high school student who was a LONDBOY fan was a victim."

tbh i'd arrest that girl too. And i feel bad for Rio. i like him anyway.

i think that 90% that girl wanted to ruin his life and a band.  "Main" rule for gya is NOT TO TELL someone that you fucked a bandomen.

HE INCRIMINATED HIMSELF for fuck's sake she didn't tell anyone! he told the police about it!
nobody is trying to yoko ono LONDBOY ffs

  10. yeah, with the string of arrests and the actual intentional exploitation of underage fans (see: dudes asking for highschoolers on tanuki) at this point you need to do your due diligence. even if it's not a revenge thing no minor's parent would be happy to hear she's banging some colorful NEET and would happily nail your gross ass to the wall.

edit: wtf the yahoo article says the police talked to him about another matter and then he incriminated himself. so y'all don't have to pity him for getting entrapped by a gya... his dumb ass got himself arrested

  11. final guest bassist was announced as J, who will also be in the music video coming out with the EP.
tbh the band must be creaming themselves...

the tracklist is also public now:

    1. SIN (instrumental)
    2. TRIGGER (ft. J)

    3. BLACK OUT DESTROY (ft. Hitoki)

    4. KALEIDO (ft. T$UYO$HI)
    5. DIES IRAE (ft. Yasui Yoshihiro)
    6. SORROW (ft. YUKKE)

If I don't say mistake, their biggest show was for the final concert 『TOUR’15「DARK DARKER DARKNESS」』 in Tokyo Dome City Hall on the 11/22/2015, the capacity of Shinkiba Studio Coast is  2402ppl while the capacity of Tokyo Dome City Hall is 3100ppl.

i couldn't remember if they sold it out or not lol 😅

  13. venue scouting is the smart idea but in my later years gps gives me false confidence that i will always find it immediately, even though that's patently untrue....

i have very little experience with Osaka livehouses so i hope i get the chance to try that group someday -- aside from BIG CAT i have only been to nishikujo brand new. not a huge fan of the trains overhead...

columns are the actual worst. i rebuke shinjuku loft and nagoya bottom line because of it. shinjuku loft especially is trash tier. if you need to put a screen on the column that shows a blurry live cam of the stage for the poor girls who are stuck behind it, maybe your livehouse isn't designed well.

i also hate shibuya glad because i fell down the stairs in front of the bar every. single. time. and my dignity can only take so much

i realized i didn't give CHOP the love it deserves, and Nagoya's electric lady land group of live houses are all pretty nice and home-y IMO.

  14. this is a neat thread. i thought there would be more overlapping firsts. mine was Shinjuku MARZ in 2009. if you haven't had the pleasure of trying to find that place, it fucking sucks. i asked at the same koban twice until eventually some random guy at a conbini was like "you idiots have passed by a lot, do you need help?" and walked us over to it. i don't understand why he knew where it was tbh.

i went mostly to see born, but the event was D-ZEL's kaisan live and the other bands there were Like Absolute Myself, ReivieЯ, DEPAIN, and Administrator. i went with a girl who didn't really have much experience with rock music and she was pissed when someone from DEPAIN threw shit at her (I told her it was a pick and she picked it up). the venue basically cleared out after all the bands but D-ZEL were on, i felt a bit bad for them.

in a similar vein, do you have a favorite livehouse? mine probably would have been Shibuya AX, RIP.

  15. wonder if takumi from sukekiyo will help with the mastering this time too?? between him and ryo they have some interesting collaborators.
their last EP was the last stand with their "ex-visual kei" period before they came crawling back to it, i hope they can carry with the momentum their last two albums have given them.
i was very surprised to hear that their comeback oneman has sold enough tickets so far that they decided to open up the second floor... this will be an interesting time for them

  16. @nekkichi, @Peace Heavy mk II Yeah, it was  蒼/Ao, and Devil Kitty Yuuga because he is the true queen of tea spilling tbh. (This site documents Yuuga's blog posts about it although they're in Japanese, just in case anyone wants to do some light reading. The site also has archived posts/blog entries from some of the other drama I mentioned as well. If it happened in '03-'07, you can probably find receipts there.)

edit: just realized i misremembered the family connection -- Yuuga's sibling wasn't the girl but is actually Ao (his little bro)

  17. @BiopandaYuuki was apparently a rude ho w/ a lot of shitty stuff to say about women and some girl named Kira was not having it. Plus he didn't pay back some money he owed? But they made up 7 years later and she posted a pic of them shaking hands. Actually she documents the whole thing on her blog, and even said she got permission from the other bands to do it at the time. Visual kei is great tbh

  18. i was looking for a thread like this to discuss some of the legendary happenings i've been reading about so

-the guy from HenzeL getting pelted with natto during a show and heckled to the point his mom tried to stop them

-KLACK showing a beheading video during a big festival while being the most irrelevant band there

-the time Rentrer en Soi kicked out their guitarist who happened to be Yuuga's brother who impregnated a girl after trying to make him make her get an abortion, and Yuuga got so mad Satsuki had to get on his hands and knees and apologize on stage
-when Koma from kurara zeroshiki stole a song from an ero game and got caught

-when Byou/Toge and Yuuto from JOKER told Kazuhi he had to leave the band right after they did a show
-the time Vogus Image's vocalist accused Tora of stealing their shit, and Tora clapped back by calling him a druggie
-Zipang's entire existence: the head of their label was arrested for meth, and the vocalist said he was so fucked up on drugs that they couldn't even talk to him, so he decided to leave the band. But the label head posted on their site and claimed the vocalist raped someone and ran off with million of yen, and that he had fired them because of it.
-Yukiya from JILS kicking someone for recording a show
-when Sugizo got a parking ticket and said it was like being in Germany under Hitler
-Vidoll writing a whole dramatic song about the time someone posted Rame's email address on tanuki

  19. this band had a moderately ok reception when i saw them even tho i didn't enjoy them at all. i was surprised they manage to fill out their empty member spots so i'm also surprised they're calling it quits after pulling that off. on the other hand if your band thread on tanuki is on thread #122 and you're not getting anywhere maybe it's time to stop
