Some song wataru and enya collabed on prior to the revival, doubt it's an indication of what theyll sound like but probably a good idea of where wataru's  clean vocals are at

The video title and description straight-up says it's an unreleased demo from 12012, so it very much could be what they're going to be aiming for, at least in terms of a ballad.

This band is about overproduced chugs & dank breakdowns with autotuned metalcore choruses. The chances of them going away from that and staying heavy are about as good as zero.

As long as the drums don't sound like they're programmed, like in most of their recent releases ...

So much better than the first single, but still... nothing to be surprised. The only thing that keeps me coming back to check these guys is that i loved Seiya in Deviloof but something here is lacking :(

I feel it too. I'll continue to support them (paying $1.60 a single ...) but I don't know if they can really call themselves a band at the moment.

  4. I wonder if this has to do with their decision to dig up their old music and rehash it out with Ryo. Most likely, though, he's realized that due to the current situation, being in a band can't support living and you can't be wishy-washy with Crystal Lake as they're teetering on the height of their popularity. He'll be missed and I'm glad I got to meet him, at least.

Unbelievably excited for this, gonna try and order the deluxe edition when it's available (next Friday JST). Annoying that two songs are only on the live limited edition though...

What's even more annoying is the fact that "Hunger" has only ever been a live-limited song, outside of the free demo they gave out before they performed live. I guess they're trying to keep that song only for the "true fans."

Wtf are they doing? I liked Gerbera and Another Universe sounds good but its hard for me to recognize them as a real band. Right now it just seems like a studio only duo project with Hiroto seemingly being uninvolved at this point. But oh well, if they keep putting out good music then all my confusion is set aside. Just wish I knew what they are trying to go for

My thoughts exactly. I can understand if Hiroto left Deviloof to get married and have a life, but he should have said so. Instead he pseudo-joined this "band" and other than first few promotional weeks, he's been absent. I'll keep buying their singles off of iTunes, but other than that, what else is there to this "band"?

The new drummer was apparently in Haku's new band but he left very suddenly on June 21st, to join Dexcore apparently. lol

    Damn that's harsh!

    EDIT: Yup, that's definitely him.

    Spoiler

The website also says that Keisuke composed Devil's Calling and Daiki composed Angel's Cry, and they're based off of demos they received from a musician they respect.

Are they still reaping the rewards of Seiya? Or is this GYZE's leftovers?

Thank Covid, without it this would have 100% gone the Hellraiser route.

The release date is June 20th apparently and I’m going to preorder it.

... I still haven't managed to get a copy of Hellraiser. It's a blight in my JILUKA discography shelf ...
