  1. I've been thinking about this all day since I read the news on twitter and I think there may be some inner turmoil within the band. Kagami keeps doing side-projects and session lives and such, and even on here people complain that they're the least sounding VK band in the scene. So my guess (and this is all conjecture of course) is that Naoki wants to do something more visual and the rest of the band is still digging the Western metalcore vibe, so Naoki peace-d out. This is also taking into context how quickly he left. On the website, the full comment said something about a difference in the production of the album as well, so maybe he wanted to take his leave before something was released he didn't want to fully endorse. The suddenness is the most shocking bit of this news.

That look really isn't giving anything away as far as the singles sound goes, really feel it could be going any direction. haha. + That VS live....??? I guess it's the more dark/brutal side of dada vs the less brutal side based on the looks. Would be an interesting show to check out though, guaranteed variety at least.

They posted a quick video snippet of the live on their twitter, albeit without live audio. The two songs they chose to showcase the two sides were of course Oboreru Sakana and DAY BY DAY.

  3. Now I didn't follow DIMLIM enough to know much about their progression. I listened to their first few releases and wasn't impressed. Then the drama and all the members leaving and I didn't follow, but I listened to this album. I like some of the music, though a lot of it is pretty forgettable. How sudden is this musical shift of theirs to warrant the lyrics to be this petty? I get they're trying to kick the visual scene, but there's a much more mature way of doing so than being a whiny baby about it. Diss tracks are pretty immature (I'm looking at you Nokubura ...) but a diss track to their audience seems even more counter intuitive and immature.

That sounds amazing! I go into mosh pits occasionally, so I hope there will be one at their concert :)

I would be very surprised if there wasn't one and/or if Keisuke doesn't call upon the crowd to do a wall of death. You should definitely go and have fun, even if it is just to support the band's overseas adventures. I hope this tour is very successful and gives them the confidence to tour elsewhere.

  5. I saw them at their first oneman (mind you, this is back when Ryuya, Seiya, and Hiroto were all still in the band) and they sounded fantastic live. Keisuke was a bit stiff and I think they tried to sound perfect rather than give a good live show. But again, this was four years ago and they've added new members and had time to work on their stage presence. In the live videos they post to twitter, their lives look super fun and they'll probably be begging the audience to mosh as much as possible. The members themselves like the non-VK crowds a lot, so I can guarantee it'll be a blast if you like to move.

Guys, help. The part at 0:55 sounds strangely similar to a Nocturnal Bloodlust song but for the life of me, I can't remember or find what song it is.

Please help me lay my soul to rest. (´;д;`)

I was thinking THE SAME THING!! Around 2:15, it sounds exactly like VENOM.

This is Dexcore gentlemen, this is your style I don't know what they want it to sound like ... this is metalcore with its characteristic seal. I see a lot of free criticism

Yup. Sounds like dexcore. And I like that. They're not going to reinvent the genre.
