    New Cult of Luna is absolutely phenomenal. Went right the fuck up into my top five 2019 releases.

    Out of curiosity what are some examples of vk bands in the past, that much like dimlim where it feels like 99% of the consensus (at least among the western online community) that they're solid. Feels like with other popular bands you still had a pretty present vocal audience saying they sucked ie mejibray, deathgaze, kizu etc (wont even bother mentioning obvious ones like diru and gazette)

      9goats black out, girugamesh, and mucc seemed pretty well received by most people. At least in their golden years, I don't really recall a lot of disdain towards them.

      @CAT5 - I'm pretty behind the curve in the J-Indie scene 😂I feel like you probably already do, but have you heard of Otoboke Beaver? Another lovely J-Girl group. Their album/compilation that they dropped this year is in my top 2019 releases.

    Worst part about sharing work files with a ton of people is that someone deletes or hides something, doesn't tell you, and makes you think all your work is gone. I don't need a heart attack 😫

      It's less about the files and more about screens that I'm uploading to a prototyping site. I need to share these with other designers and project managers, but somehow things either get shifted or entire projects archived. What I've done for now is remove people that aren't working on the project currently (because it actually happened again yesterday *sigh*), and if they ever need access again I can give it to them.

      My company uses Invision for sharing prototypes and, I might be wrong, from what I can tell each user is given a certain level of permission that applies across all projects. I looked into limiting permissions for a specific project, but it doesn't look like that's a feature. At least for the way our file structure is currently set up anyways (the place I work at is a bit....chaotic and unorganized)

    I never liked Slipknot until Psychosocial. Their music changed drasatically. Still don't really like corey's clean vocals, but I enjoyed their previous album.

      Solway Firth was good! But tracks like "nero forte", "critical darling", and "orphan" had choruses that left me underwhelmed. They've done better in the past (like with psychosocial, duality, or even devil in i)

      @YuyoDrift - I feel you on YT. Honestly, I kind of keep up to date through keeping tabs on upcoming vinyl releases. There's a couple places where I go to keep my eyes open for popular releases and go from there.

      And, kind of silly, but also through meme videos. It sounds funny, but often times I'll find a lot of good music on the most random youtube videos. I found out about Deathgrips and DaBaby that way. And Tyler the Creator I discovered when he made an appearance on The Eric Andre Show.
