    How many of you have been listening to "ORCALADE" and what are your thoughts?

     

    For anyone who doesn't know this is a band of HIRO ex. EAT YOU ALIVE and ex. ex. Clearveil and ASS'n'ARRow members.

      I'm thinking on writing a review of it, would love to hear people's opinions aswell!

      I think it is a really well done release, even if they are somewhat not really clear on their band idea/concept. Gives us a glimpse on some powerfull song writing for the next releases

    Well ORCALADE is as good as I expected, which is to say brilliant.

    Wow man I love the new chariots. They have really improved so much. I've been scrobbling their discography for the past 3 days and what I've realized is that they have really overcame that Phantasmagoria sound that they couldn't seem to escape. Even though they have an original sound of their own in songs such as: bane, cold pray, and ablaze my sorrow (Just to name a few) which were some of their biggest hits, they seemed to always be dependent on that Phantasmagoria to stay afloat. But now I think they have finally managed to shake off that Phantasmagoria sound and really come to their as band. A thus far this has produced an amazing and original sound for them. I honestly love everything they've done so far.

      Are their post-revival releases worth checking out? I remember trying really really hard to like them in 2008~9 and it just wasn't happening for me. Riku without any artistic restraint can sometimes be a big mess.

    Question for @inartistic or any other WE LOVE UCP guys. Was "griever" on the Freely distributed 2016-12-09 oneman version the same as the version on the 2012 mini-album "griever"? Or was it a new or re-recorded version?

    Can someone tell me if the currently active "REIGN" is the same "REIGN" that disbanded in 2011?

     

    This "REIGN" released one single "My rebel/ASH".
