I'm not sure if I like this trend much though... it tends to make the pace of the song hard to enjoy with so many mash-up's.

yeah. it may as well be the same thing as VDAS except instead of original themes it was all touhou arrange. you can not really tell unless you do an A-B comparison. I think this is superior to VDAS' last full album and thinking back to this was part of the reason I didn't like most of it.

Setsuna apparently just released a remastered version of 鴉/IX ;(  That album felt like each song was it's own album and was way too long.

i have an FLAC of their latest but haven't bothered to listen. he pumps out music so fast its hard to keep up yet distributes it so poorly it's difficult to find.

I don't think they've ever called themselves VK, but they might as well be? I know the leader used to float around in VK bands, at least.

I know they're associated with Shinjou Kasumi, AKA that really old OsareKei guy who was the vocalist of SMILE, and started the complete failure of throwaway bands that was Dear Dolce Records (Well, there were three good bands on it, only 2 relevant today).

That look is pretty badass though tbh.

The only really good thing of that album was the rearrangement of Topaz! Apart from it, only Classical Element, Blessing of the Future and Arcadia are .

I actually liked Guilty as Charged or w/e it was called, but I've only listened to like 3 songs from the album so far. For the most part, this was a big change in direction from their first two albums (which was like versailles-sans-french-frills, where as this has a lot of influences out side of power metal), but different does not always equate to "better." 

I'm not sure what sound they/their management are going for in an attempt to diversify versailles-light from versailles --philharmonic production budget--, but I'm not feeling this 2004 tecmo-koei videogame opening mess

Back in my day it was just fuck your feelings! We're disbanding! It  honestly seems like a money thing to me. Now everyone will be throwing more money at them for the limited window for seeing them together...

I assume it's so they can fill more venues, clear out their extra checkis, and pay back all the money they owe on their costume down payments.
