MAMIRETA will release a new single titled, 「五臓六腑に染みる雨」(Gozouroppu ni shimiru ame), on 2020.04.01, and it will cost 2,000 yen (+taxes). They will hold their third anniversary live, which will be called 「ぽ」(Po), at Takadanobaba AREA on 2020.05.29.

Moran is a very special band to me - in my opinion, they developed their particular brand of VK into something that felt genuinely elevated. There's plenty of cheese, but they were very particular in how they applied VK cliches into their own brand. Like Dolly and amber gris, every Moran song has an incredibly unique atmosphere. Hitomi is a fantastic poet, but his lyrics can be difficult:  I really think that while Moran had plenty of hard-hitting tracks that could resonate with anyone, their main strength was in subtlety, and lyrics play a big part of that. The problem was that the majority of the overseas Fatima/Moran fandom was already Japanese literate or close to it, so while I did my best to promote the band, I knew that unless you spoke Japanese, a huge part of their appeal was going to be lost. Moran songs are very lyrical, with many changing keys or reaching climaxes in tune with the lyrics, and while I know that many bands do that also, in Moran's case, it was done in a much more "quieter" way, if that makes sense.
 
I also think that songs that are heavy on the atmosphere, without loud breakdowns or super-poppy choruses are not going to resonate with the majority of overseas fans, which is a shame, because mid-tempo tracks with emotive instrumentals are where Moran truly shines. Bulbs and Wing or Tail are good examples of this, not to mention their dark EP, which is one of my favorite VK albums of all time. I think dark is an absolute classic, an equal to albums like Merveilles by Malice Mizer and GAUZE  by Dir en grey. The whole EP reads like an exploration of sorrow: there are songs that deal with loneliness, of being abandoned, of losing a loved one, of longing for an impossible ideal. Even though there's plenty of drama, the whole album feels raw, and human. 

I read an interview once, where the band explained that their name came from a particular character in the Moomin comic series, named Mårran. From Wikipedia:

Usually I don't comment when I dislike something,you know cant say something nice dont say anything,but this, this disappointment I felt, I have the need to mention it. Especially after weeks of literal tormention, nameguessing and eventually waiting for their reveal. Honestly the most outstanding thing here was the location, because my first and only "positive" thought was oh its shot here again

I don't really like the song. MISAKI sounds weak. and it sounds like a Starwave band

The lynch. album will bring nothing new to the table, but it'll be just a bit better than XIII If the GazettE don't release their next album this year, they'll at least announce its release (or announce the announcement) BUCK-TICK will release an album, it falls into the two year pattern they've seemingly settled into; it'll have an electro-retro sound to it ザアザア will churn out more singles with really good A-sides and very bleh b-sides, but they will not release an album because they are stupid MERRY will be so focused on trying to sell that nostalgii jewellery that they'll forget to release any actual music R-shithead members will do unmemorable side projects; with or without music, Mamo will do something heinous #mamoisoverparty MEJIBRAY will not get back together; their side projects will continue to be astonishingly terrible ARTiCLEAR will put out a solid release (but they'll probably disband sooner than TBS did; Jin is cursed) BORIS will mostly tour this year, maybe do a collab with ... Merzbow 🙄 Anybody else I didn't mention will either churn out skippable singles or tour around Japan; like I said, not all that interesting

頭のはずれた僕のネジ (Atama no Hazureta Boku no NEJI) formed last year in Osaka as a sort of mysterious session / real (?) band. They weren't super great at letting anyone know who they were, based on having no promo pictures, no home page, and all of their Twitter handles were like" gGg0Aa0a0aag." In December, they finally revealed a band picture and changed their name to ビス (BIS).

G: Yami (病魅) (ex- Zetsubou Circus / MAZERU NA KIKEN (マゼルナキケン。))

And Torso-kun, who is a mannequin that tweets announcements for the band.
 

 
They will be releasing a freely distributed single, MAGICAL SUICIDE STARDUST LAND (マジカル スーサイド スターダスト ランド), at the Kawarock festival on January 17th. They have also announced in their YouTube teaser description that they will be releasing their first single come April.

They've done good in not giving us any teasers in my opinion, now everyone is curious as to what the album will be

I don't necessarily mind if they change their sound to something more akin to ONE OK ROCK or whatever, cuz I can appreciate some of that stuff, and I can live without all the boogeyman vocals and pig squeals. I just hope that they go hard and really knock this shit out of the park, whatever it is.
 
That said, the promotion for this album thus far has been utterly unappealing.

Until we hear samples i dont think its fair to make any assumptions just on the song titles. If the last release (live limited single) was an indicater of what they are trying to do im all in. Based on this teaser my guess is we are in for some weird shit. Im so here for that, they didn't get popular doing the same things every other metal band did. They tried weird shit from the beginning and have consistently delivered.
