I'm super addicted to Megamasso. I think i'm at least 8 years late.

This has probably been asked, but can anyone name VK bands that got better towards the end of their career? (Not counting bands that were only active for like 2 years)
I'm trying to honestly assess if I have an everlasting nostalgia hard-on, or if bands just tend to lose that youthful passion they needed to once prove themselves once they've already made it. With literally every longer-lasting VK band I like, I favor their earlier/first releases (Versailles, Vidoll, Matenrou Opera, Mucc, Nightmare, Kagrra,, 12012, Ayabie, Miyavi, blah blah).
I feel like the GazettE might get mentioned, and I fucked with them for the most part until DIM, but as I get older I find myself caring less about their high-budget modern metal sound (which they continue to pursue, arguably quite well?) in favor of many of their early recordings that may have been slightly rough around the edges in some way, but oozed with passion and desperation. This all despite the fact I discovered GazettE around the stacked rubbish area and didn't care for much before it until many years after.
Thoughts????? DO bands ever get good™ again??

the suckiest thing when your first serious crush is happily married with other girl... aww... i'm happy, but heart is so aching. i think i'll love her forever, doesn't matter we broke up almost ten years ago.

ladies, what career pathway do you consider the least embarrassing for your fav VK scene retirees
notable examples:
— car sales manager
— host club employee
— competitive eater/food fighter
— 50 year old former recording artist now impersonating 18 year olds
— Ellen DeGeneres daytime darling
— other choice (elaborate in comments)

It's okay if you don't love me, I'm not really looking for it anyway.

Nao from Kagrra, is undoubtedly high up there with J from LUNA SEA as one of the best bassist that has ever been in the scene. Listening to old Kagrra music, in particular their first four mini albums, still leave me surprised at how good he is and I have known these songs for like 15 years. His bass line are tasty.

Just out of curiosity, have you ever followed one of your favorite musicians/actors/etc on social media, and lost your fandom for them as a result of how they act/what they post?

That moment when a certain song can only be found on youtube, so you have to suck it up and use a youtube to m4a service.
Eh most Guruguru stuff is 128 kbps anyway.

I just realised the organ samples in Madeth Gray'll's "Lucifer" are probably actually accordion samples (either that or they chose "reed organ", AKA basically a giant, bellowless accordion, sample)

please serious answers only but i am really wondering why it seems like no one here on MH seems to care for the band DictavE?
they make really great music so i am really just curious why that is cuz compared to other heavy Vk bands which get enough recognition i don't see any authoritative difference.... Ôó
