@emmny with that kind of attitude, do you think they would be propelled to perform overseas anymore?? I really do think you should show some respect and follow their wishes. I'd think you can live without a picture.

Yesterday at the Dallas live, no one was taking any pictures or was recording and we still had an AWESOME time.

Also, they had professionals and staff taking pictures and recording, so not all the experience will be lost.

In response to the entirety of this topic, I don't think it's to save face or image, but rather they want profit from professional pictures and recordings, and not have all these crummy recordings lingering around online.

I also think it depends on bands and not all VK bands. I went to see Dir En Grey and few years back and they didn't give a crap about images and recording.

  3. I figured it had something to do with the Houston storms and flood. What doesn't make sense to me is how they landed in Texas first, but the first few concerts are in Latin America..that's a lot of flights..and jet lag.

  5. I'm kinda meh about the setlist, I wish they'd play some of their older songs like Invisible Wall, Guren, etc.

But seeing Hyena there was a pleasant surprise.

Either way, gonna see them in less than a week in Dallas! :-)

    I don't consider them one.

i wanted to talk about this

    Hidden Content

im not into any sm groups other than f(x) and shinee but they slightly interest me.

although as far as i know there are supposed to be multiple NCT subunits?

this one in particular didnt stand out to me as much but seems like SM will put a big effort into this new project.

(i didnt like the other song but this one i can jam to....kinda)

Yeah I still don't know how the NCT thing is going to work. SM seems to be doing quite a lot this year with this NCT mess and then the station thing.

but I admit this song was pretty good imo and the other was kinda lackluster.

btw I only focus on Shinee and f(x) in SM as well :'D

  7. So, Brave Brothers (you know, those Korean producer/songwriter guys who were lowkey working with BIGBANG and SISTAR) produced a J-pop girl group...that sounds a lot like K-pop act trying to hit the Japanese markets with dem K-budget PVs etc. (disregard intentionally faked "Korean Japanese" accent)

So...do they count as "K-pop" then? (considering that they are mainly produced from Seoul's quarters and are provided with Korean songwriting antics) I don't know how to feel about this, lol.

I guess so, since they're produced in Seoul. After all, there's K-idol groups that have Japanese releases but it's still considered kpop somewhat.

I don't know how to feel about this, either.

  8. no hun. i pretty sure eve jumped at the chance to ask him to sing the song after they broke up, after all he shamefully left. And since it was his birthday why not as a sort of celebration. and how did you even get there when eve is a part (small at part) of lycaon. did he cover some song? outta here with that misguided shade, cause if he was, it doesnt change him being the best vocalist

This is only from what I've heard but I'm not shading Yuuki at all here??? Tone it down a couple notches, I'm just as excited about the possibility of Lycaon returning just as much as the next person. With the Eve and Yuuki release, I did think that he was possibly trying to pursue something else (perhaps the utaite part is incorrect, but I was thinking of solo activities?)

I also never said anything about Yuuki's vocal capability so outta here with your misguided understanding of my statement???
