my complete few of the song changed completely now that i know the intention behind it when Ruki wrote the lyrics for it....
and finally to keep it short i am kinda glad again i don't understand japanese anything near fluently because i know many of these bands write super fucked up lyrics and i always think like: how can japanese young super styled teenage girls just go all out and party over the music therefore - like srsly i often think (although there's almost nothing i love more than Vk) if i'd understand all the lyrical content i might get super depressed because of it....^^°
sry for that short story but i needed to get this of my chest *kinda*...

hentai!? wow - i just even found out about it because there was a brutal death metal band with a song titled with her name and i thought like: if her mother would knew about it... its like reliving all over again and i don't think its a good way to use such horrible things for lyrical content due to respect of what happened....

@Ada Suilen yes i forgot the name i saw it come up and i thought it was familiar and a comment confirmed it. can't even really call it hentai it's more eroguro and very disturbing. can't look it up now though i'm at work.

Congrats! And she will be embarrassed by your musical taste almost immediately and then in 25 years she'll be listening to whatever the brutal-kei equivalent to Led Zeppelin is on her own accord and think "maybe my parents' are cooler than I thought".

again a little bit on a nostalgia trip and i must say OMG the 1st maxi single of 2nd Dyz - "ACID RAY" is superb! especially the outstanding vocal work no matter if the super raspy and brutal screams or the quite emotional singing... just WOW!

Although i knew Graupel for many years i just started to like them a few days ago when i listened to their new EP "Fade Away" - what an epic song! And the 2nd song Flashback is ridiculously brutal.
Check 'em out - it was an instand buy for me! 8D

wow, this sounds really american, metalcore-ish. esp. track no 1. second track is nice, but IMO, if you go this br00tal, you should go with more br000tal blastbeat, too.
thanks for the recommendation, I felt like I heard this type of sound before (metal core-bands from USA)so it did not quite click with me. happy for you for this discovery.

hm.... i was just wondering because normally i could play them all without any problem but since last friday it doesn't work anymore... also on my mobile phone it doesn't work - it just says like "the medium couldn't be played"... kinda sucks bcuz especially nowadays where a lot of Vk bands upload twitter "exclusive" videos..

Anyone heard of the band FILL THE VOID? They even have a song featuring Hiro from NOCTURNAL BLOODLUST.
When i first discovered them a few days ago i was just sitting there staring at the screen cuz i didn't know how to think of it other than i had no idea that a band can be so ridiculously heavy that it almost gets disturbing...
But somehow i came back to them and now i love them. ;D
Definitely need to get a physical copy of their 1st EP somehow...

no he was legit under 20 and couldnt drink alcohol at the time when i saw them but they may have also been under a different name at the time. i assume he's probably over 20 by now. i suppose i could ask my bf who is in the scene but i'm not that invested

Anyone knows the Band Oaktails? Their 1st EP "Unchanged" is pretty amazing!
Love most of those japanese hardcore bands with "spoken" parts. There's so much emotion within their songs.

back from tokyo for about 5 weeks now but because of constantly new incoming CDs i still have around 30 lying in my shelves to listen to - wish it could be like that forever! XD

That's how many I brought back with me from my 2 week trip. If I was there another week, I probably would have needed to buy another suitcase *just for CDs* XD

the last 2 times where i was in tokyo with my wife we really bought a new suitcase every time!! XD
because we always buy way to much and because compared to what we find here they have the best quality in japan from what it seems...

do you also know the feeling when you receive a new CD package and along with your order you receive a few bandflyers and you get a flyer of a band you love (in my case right now it was the new flyer of DictavE 8D ) and you are as equally happy about having that flyer as all the new CDs you received?! ;D

Does anyone know if there are none-japanese bands which play melodic hardcore with spoken parts like for example Catalysts or Fall of Tears etc.?
Or is it really only a japanese "thing"?

gotta say DiSPiИA's accoustic version of Ra:bBit[CH] might be the best accoustic version EVER done from a Vk band - this song is literally pure GOLD!!!!
