It is 😕 Utafumi at least was pretty headbang inducing.
Although, I think that "BLESSING TO LOSE HEART" part will be popular among fans during gigs.

i didn't like much utafumi either, but at lives it has a completely different feel.and perhaps the  same happens with nigen wo kaburu.but it's not a track that i'll ever care to listen...but somehow i feel like the upcoming album is going to have way much more fun than ARCHE

  2. Manji 卍

Indeed.that tittle sounds like a bland K-pop single.
  3. Manji 卍

Well,I always knew that their names for albums doesn't mean nothing anyway. Don't know if I'm the only one who think this way here, but I really hope they change their production on this album, cuz since Ohayo their sound is too "polished" .
  4. Manji 卍

Yeah, that's my concern too. That scream was incredible, but doing in that way was a bit unnecessary.i wonder if he's gonna do the same on live performances
  5. BURZUM shouldn't have retired from the metal scene,he's a genius.

    1. suji

      suji

The videos he makes nowadays are the complete opposite, they're just ramblings of a madman stuck in the 50s...

honestly,i never liked him as a person,i was just interested in his work as a metal musician.

those albums he has recorded after prison were outstanding

  6. Manji 卍

if any of the members have different ideas that can't be explore on the band, they can simply go to a side project.
  7. Manji 卍

honestly,i had some hope to get on this album one of those long tracks like BARETTA and 7gatsu 8ka,with those nice conversational lyrics but after checking the name of the songs and the length of the tracks,i lost my hope. and i think Ruki doesn't care about writting lyrics for such kind of tracks anymore.
  8. Am I the only who's missing the Gore/violence of the 80's, 90's and early 2000's animes?

    1. Lestat

      Lestat

Watch the first season of Terra Formars. This season’s Grancrest Senki also doesn’t back down on the violence.

I'm already so fuckin pumped for a full length,90's style bands are always exciting
  10. Manji 卍

Awesome news Will be bad to see they changing their current look, bcuz I simply loved this one
  11. Yeah,I don't understand why they keep posting these instrumental versions, are they trying to build some hype or what? Furthermore, the vocals needs to be interesting, cuz everything sounds very generic so far.
  12. the new GHOST album "Prequelle"  is a letdown !!!!!

    1. 123Sandman321

      123Sandman321

Sure, that line is absolutely horrible, but Forge's lyrics were never anything particularly stellar.

Nevertheless, how does a single line encompass the quality of a whole album?

    2. Bear

      Bear

Another fantastic Ghost album, just like I expected. Superb!

    3. Manji 卍

      Manji 卍

Well,guys... it's a matter of personal taste.even on YouTube there's tons of different reviews of this album, not just that line, but 70% of the album didn't capture my attention, was completely different from what I expected.composition-wise it's not mediocre at all,it was well executed ,however,Tobias said it would be darker, black plague, apocalypse, stuff like that, but it just didn't please me.good that you guys enjoyed that.

perhaps when we get to listen the whole thing together,it may have a different feel.i hope so.
  14. Manji 卍

Playing this on loop here and unfortunately I can't deny that I'm feeling like i already heard that before.Sounds like a mix of VERMIN with REQUIRED MALFUNCTION. Let's see how it works playing the full length.there need to be something surprising on this album,please...
  15. Manji 卍

They definitely love doing live tracks like this.the fans are going to have fun with this one.even in such a bad quality you can notice how good Ruki's clean vocals are,and that falsetto is to die for.
  16. it's beyond comprehension the number of bands that KORN has influenced.

    1. karai · ebi

      karai · ebi

I've known so many people who wanna shit on korn or poke fun at me for still listening to them but right, uhh yea hello?

It's one thing if they don't like the kind of music, but if anyone out there is listening to Derivative Band #??? and not acknowledging it, hmm...

    2. Manji 卍

      Manji 卍

agreed.also many people hate on them cuz they speak about things that most people don't wanna know or hear about, but after all, they're a very successful band.their sound represented a new beginning for the metal history.you can hear a bit of Korn on many bands, dir en grey,gazette,kuroyuri,etc...

  17. is there any good japanese post punk band alive nowadays?

    1. zombieparadise

      zombieparadise

PLASTICZOOMS plays around with post-punk a bit.

    2. Tokage

      Tokage

      Madame Edwarda are still around...

    3. Manji 卍

      Manji 卍

Yes,I got into madame Edwarda recently and it really took me by surprise.even the recent stuff sounds like it were made in the early 80's

  18. Manji 卍

They were nice, just needed a good and original vocalist, not a Karma cosplay.
  19. Manji 卍

God, that chorus is beyond perfection.i started to feel like DIMLIM is going to be that kind of band that you enjoy every single track with no exceptions.Btw,all those released tracks won't be included in the album...
  20. Manji 卍

This MV gave me the excitement I was used to feel when I started watching vk music videos for the first time, made me so happy, really good production, enjoyable breakdowns and big chorus .Sho just keeps surprising us in every new MV,his look is hauntingly beautiful, and funny how you see the traces of Kyo's influences here and there.
  21. Manji 卍

Some guys here seem to despise so much TOXIC, DIVISION and DEFORMITY. These albums are absolutely good albums, DEFORMITY in particular has some very forgettable tracks, but that's a damn good album.
  22. Edgy the gazette "fans".  -__-"

  23. Manji 卍

It's a matter of personal taste.songs like juuyonsai no knife, gangs ni akai bara, katherine in the trunk, red motel (kinda) and others are pretty good.and D=OUT is a good example of how vk is capable to do good jazzy tracks
  24. Manji 卍

I agree that silly god disco is garbage but they have tons of good jazzy tracks besides silly God disco...
  25. Manji 卍

I think it's time to put their efforts on some nostalgic shit, coming up with some rebel punk,or those jazzy and catchy tracks, something like that.but won't happen anyway
