ReCORE a mix between recorder and core. btw my band would be really edgy and capitalize core. we'd be a badass death metal band with thrash influences, BUT during our breakdowns, we'd have a recorder player playing a badass recorder solo. hence recorder-core i'd play guitar if i was talented enough but maybe i'll just have to steal the show with the recorder skills i learned in 6th grade *edit: we'd also be VK of course. we'd be so shitty, only the VK scene would accept us

i've always made this band name out to something like "falapadapadus" in my head because i'm too lazy to read the name anyways, stupid names: Ashley Scared the Sky Black Gene for the Next Scene Mejibray (isn't it some weird combination of eyes and ears and senses?) Does It Escape Again (idk, does it?) Nocturnal Bloodlust (just because it's so mainstream omfg) The Piass (i hate saying this aloud. the pee-ass?) Deviloof (it's too cute to be the name of something so brutal...) Dadaroma (ik it's been mentioned but rlly, DAD'S AROMA?) Balzac (ballsack...?)

i don't like kpop simply because i don't like pop. i very rarely like visual kei pop or jpop, but when i do it's just due to me browsing and finding something with a really nice beat that i happen to like. happened to me with kiryu and smileberry lmao. but i'm majorly into metal and rock. i love instruments more than i do a bunch of guys or girls singing and dancing. as for looks? i'll admit i'm more drawn to VK because of the extremity of it all. it's really cool to me ok one more reason is that i hate majority of the kpop fan base. not all, but the creepy-ass obnoxious ones for sure. sure some VK fans act just as unpleasantly as kpop fans, buut avoiding those are a lot easier. it's just really extreme and IN YO FACE in the kpop fandom, i've noticed

emmny's recs are on point, but it's also worth mentioning SID's first album "Renai", which honestly is jazz-rock at its best and pretty much started this whole jazzy thing in modern VK. Other bands like SCISSOR, Shichisanshiki and Kazoku also had some really good jazz-inspired stuff.
