I think the dvd cover is cool, but I strongly dislike the red hands addition to the original 3 piece artwork. Looks cheap. At first I thought it was just some fan edit.

yea pretty much a flawless Mejibray song imo. I'm glad MiA is given more spotlight again > more solos. I remember seeing some small sample of The End-esque happy-go-lucky song on MiA's instagram. I wonder if it's gonna end up paired with this single.

I bought a new jacket today. But it's from women's clothing store (I'm a guy), which makes me a bit uncomfortable.
I don't believe in gender-only clothing but still can't help it. :/
pretty sure the feeling will pass tho ; )

I've been keeping my hair tied in a knot most of the time lately. It has resulted super curly hair when ever I open it. Curls even last for a day or so.. yay ^^

oh right. the fucking church era Toshi. Poor guy really. Compare Uglymouth's video to this, here they recreate the atmospehere of their early days in a small venue: lol, love the part where Toshi comes up with his own counter to Yoshikitty. Toshinguin. (not official name), because trying to create an image/brand yourself as a penguin with sunglasses is a cool idea.

I've been watching some old X-Japan videos few days now and these guys were really cool back then. It reminded me of why I was such a big fan of them! Toshi was a beast on the vocals, Pata and Taiji were super smooth glam rockers, even Yoshiki was fairly cool there and hide brought his crazy energy to the band. These guys were throwing TV's out of hotel rooms, kicking people during lives and there are slut stories about hide and co floating around the web. Then fastforward, I check some recent live material........... Yoshiki introduces every song, Yoshiki does some overdramatic shit, Yoshiki and (now ballss-less) Toshi have some random heart warming conversation on the stage. What happened? When did this band become Yoshiki & co.? He was never this prominent back in the day! And what happened to Toshi?

This is cool stuff. This is one of the most promising newcomer bands imo. I know it's only because of my own taste I feel this tho, so if you don't agree I understand ^^

Nice! Dark ambient stuff is always interesting. I liked the tracks from Sketch to Lisbon the most. Sediment and Lisbon being my favourite. Propably because those tracks got more organic sound (apart from Reactor) I'm not too much into futuristic soundscapes. But hey, I actually got this one game project coming up that would require some ambient music. I was wondering if you'd be okay with me using some of these tracks? I can pay you too, if the project ever sees light of day. I can go more into detail if you're interested.

Thanks for the feedback! @PsychoΔelica, why happy paintings...? : / Well obviously they're not, but saying they're paintings of suicidal and depressed tendencies makes it sound too gloomy imo. I tried making more happy things with this style, but they didn't end up looking right. I guess the topic title is a little distracting. But yea, thank you million times for the constructive stuff! I've heard it before as well - that these works look a little sloppy and unfinished. And I agree. The thing is... I often get bored of drawing these before polishing and just decide to throw them to tumblr anyway. I need to learn some patience for sure. I've been continuing some of these afterwards and tried to give them an extra layers of polish, but still some choppiness remains... I'll probably try to find sweetspot from somewhere between what I have now and more detailed lines. Proportions and anatomy is an area I need more practice too for sure. Here's an example of continued work: (You can see the earlier version few posts above. Personally I like this new one a whole lot more ^^)

I trying to get back to painting. Summer has been too busy. Most of these painting are for a certain video game project I hope to start seriously this fall. The screenshot is from an older build. The new engine got a bigger resolution, So I'll be redoing most of the graphics..

Weird mixture of bored/restlessness/depressed/social anxiety/tired.
I wanna do stuff and see people but at the same time I feel like becoming a hermit and secluding myself from society.
End of the summer. definitely.

anyone else seeing similarities between hide and Hyde?
I've been getting into VAMPS lately (after not really caring about them for past years) and Hyde seems to have a lot of similar manners, expressions and attitude as hide used to have.
VAMPS' music is also something I could imagine hide doing and they even look alike in some of the MVs (like angel trip and revolution just for example)

@Euthanasiayea true, whenver he's not doing his L'arc en ciel voice. Also the fact he plays guitar too while singing makes it easier to draw comparisons.
@Ada Suilen that's what I think too. It's in no way a bad thing imo. hide is like one of my all time favourites and this just makes me like Hyde more. and it's not like Hyde doesn't have merits of his own too.

I'm glad you guys got good time too. From what I hear Paris had a great gig too. Nokuburas fanbase seems to be dedicated. I really loved Venom on the live set, we had this epic pit standoff at the start of the song.
