I loved hide from X Japan, but it took a while before his solo stuff grew on me. But it did eventually, big time. I don't think there are quite similar artists around as hide was. His music is pretty unique as is his look and persona. I like all of his albums. Ja Zoo feels a bit incomplete, but there are some really good songs on it. Inclusion of Co Gal and few singles released afterwards would have made it complete imo. Also it would have been very interesting to see where Zilch would have lead hide to.

So I noticed artists section is missing something important: hide, you might know him from X Japan, his solo, with spread beaver, zilch or even yokosuna saver tiger. His music varies a lot. from speed metal to more pop stuff of his solo career to industrial rock. I love hide because he's really pretty, light hearted, apparently real trouble maker and cool as f. so anyone else a fan of his?

it's as far-fetched to dream about place in jrock/jpop as you think. I know there is at least one finnish person composing music for some j-pop labels. being an artisti shouldn't be impossible either. anyways, welcome to MH seth!! ^^

I haven't listened to them in a while, might be time to get back to their rocking. These are about their earlier material though. I really like king of pain and would like to see similar stuff.

so helsinki show yesterday had more or less the same setlist I believe. except was Gabriel on the Gallows played? lol can't remember. the show was good, although I'm always left wanting something more with the gazette. I feel like the older songs like suicide circus, filth in beauty, etc. work better live than some of the dogma material. at least it's easier to jump along ^^ The band was great though. Last time I saw them, all the others apart from Ruki were left in the background. not this time.

I think in past I've played stuff like X-Japan, Sex Machineguns and Guitar Wolf to some people, but generally I don't try pushing my music taste to others or play my music out loud. Even with western music, people usually shun away whenever I play them something that I like, so I'll just save them from biggest VK trannie stuff. I do mention I listen to VK though if asked, but it's more along paradoxal's japanese underground rock. I used to have few CDs at my ex's car and once she was driving around with her friends and they gave my music a listen out of curiosity... They thought it was some horrible noice mostly and were asking like where the hell I find music like that I don't remember what exactly they heard, but I believe it was gazette's disorder and some diru at least...

don't really feel strongly about any of these, voted jojo because his look is cool in that video and maube there's a little more personality in his voice imo

I like your work ghost ^^ I think many of your stuff here would make great prints on T-shirts, curtains or whatever. I'd buy at least I'm also interested in seeing more of your darker themed works, it's cool contrast to your overly cheery cupcakes etc.

hey @haido, where are you planning on seeing them? I was thinking the same... although I'm not sure if I'm gonna have enough money, because I'm gonna be travelling to Japan later this year if things go as planned.. so.. yea.. but I'd still like to see Nokubura if possible :S
