How can you still call them worn out when you complain about his drumming since, idk 5+ years now? It seems to be his style by now, get over it or stop listen to them.

I am not a drummer but damn, this same sentence complaining about him every time in every thread for so many years now gets kind off annoying to read.

I’m not going to stop, so feel free to put me on ignore.

  2. I guess their thing when they cover songs is to make them their own, which is fine because I don’t like note for note covers. It doesn’t always work though. This is... fine? I’m mostly just worn out by Shinya’s unimaginative patterns that aren’t doing this any favors.

It’s not as radical as Sukekiyo’s cover of Gerbera though. I still haven’t processed that one.

If they do release the vinyl, I’ll be the first to buy it, but I’m not paying 3,300 ¥ plus shipping for a CD-R with a photocopied insert.

Lol, it’s not as bad as that. Definitely not a high quality release though.

  4. Just got my physical copy and boy... uh.

Okay so the release is actually manufactured by Amazon, which is a new thing to me. The booklet is filled with just promo art we’ve already seen, and the font for the lyrics and such almost looks like it’s blurred from a bad photocopy.

No one from the band is credited anywhere.

This is the most low budget indie thing I’ve seen in a while

Not really a trope, per say, but I want to enforce a strict rule that requires you look up a band name before you officially debut to ensure there aren't already 3423042042 other bands with the same name already.

Also make sure your band name is easy to Google. Don’t make it one letter or a super common word like “Sugar”

I can't vote on the poll yet cuz this is gonna take several listens. But what's painful here is that in some tracks Sho's voice is so obviously constrained to fit the songs. He has to use 10% of his skills to be able to fit into what this album is going for.

    Yeah this.

You can sometimes hear Sho on the verge of going off the rails, but he can’t because it wouldn’t fit the music at all. It’s almost like he started to cut loose and Retsu was on the other side behind the sound board, wagging his finger.
