Yeah I don’t know. That’s why I don’t think rights are the issue here. They WERE playing pre-Chedoara stuff after Issei left, so I think it’s just a choice they’ve made as they move away from that material stylistically.

Yomi’s technique always seemed odd to me. It’s like he’s holding his breath while he sings.

Your favorite bands probably hate each other more than you think.
DEG has the right idea.

13 minutes ago, Kabukichoatmidnight said:Funny as well as that post on instagram is basically just full of people basically saying "we love the band but when we live overseas and can't buy these CD's what more do you expect us to do? We want to hear and enjoy your music, not miss out because we can't attend a live show." lol. A common thing said on here, and I completely agree. haha.
To be fair, Chedoara and Rijin are on iTunes and streaming services.

To open up this can of worms again, I understand Retsu’s point about illegal uploads, but using a track from Kidoairaku as an example softens it. Unless they’re still sitting on a ton of unsold copies or it’s suddenly become commercially available, complaining about it now doesn’t make much sense.

Unless one of the guys has their own studio space, yeah. It’s way more time and cost effective to do everything from a laptop in your bedroom than it is to rent out a space to record. It’s pretty common now.

The problem is that it seems like Dimlim has no fucking idea what they’re doing and they most likely don’t have the funds to hire someone to do it for them.
I don’t know. Slapping your music on iTunes and streaming services with little fanfare and tweeting out that you want to tour overseas probably isn’t quite enough.
I fear the worst really.

I'm putting this here in advance so everyone knows there are ways of supporting them and getting their merch from overseas.
I'll take orders until November 7th.
If the Vanitas shirt is still available, I’d like one of those. If not the Aizou ni tsuki is cool. Maybe the shigarami towel too.
I imagine an American large is like an XL over there?

Honestly I like that trash can, but $80?

In the grand scheme of things every DEG album sounds like sweaty cheeks, so I don’t know why we even continue to have this discussion

All you need to know is if Tue Madsen is mixing it’s probably going to sound bad

How many times has Mao used that chorus melody?

This is what happens when you actually work together in a studio and don’t layer shit on just to worry about how you’re actually going to play it later
not coincidentally this is why the Marrow songs are better live as well

Honestly quite shocked at DSS topping the best/favorite polls.
also, Arche being way more disliked than I thought!
