I also thought Rubbish Heap sounded like Gazette, which is funny given the title of the song and all.
Surprisingly I’m mostly okay with the mix; the ballads sound fine, some of the early heavy tracks are just fucking noisy. I find it a bit worrisome that these fucks waited almost four years and now they’re saying they were putting this shit together at the last minute. We heard the same story with Uroboros, but at least that came out the year after Marrow.

Let’s just hope it’s all metaphorical for killing the band, not himself. Not that I want DEG to disband, but I feel like they’ve only got so many years of doing this.

It kind of makes the album tiring before it’s halfway over.
Also, Celebrate Empty Howls reminds me of Doukoku no Sarinu.

Are they reworked or basically self-covers like the three Vestige tracks?

Just now, geist said:If it's any consolation, Ningen appeared on Apple Music the day of the Japanese release. It was in the afternoon in the US when it dropped, so maybe by early morning in Japan, later this afternoon in the States, it will start showing up.
Official release date is the 26th though. I doubt we’ll see it before tomorrow.

Also, Gene Wong has never posted a cover of a song before an album dropped that no one hadn’t heard already.

Jeez, I had the timeline all screwed up.
I guess losing a guitarist is what drove them to go core as fuck.
Actually I don’t think I’ve ever heard Mar Maroon.

I don’t mind if Kyo raps, but the way he delivers it sounds really goofy. Almost sounds like rap by way of Noh theater.

I hate that rapping part in Values of Madness, but Kyo still sounds better than most of the “rappers” out there right now.

He’s doing a cover of the radio edit though.

12012 decided to make half assed metalcore because Wataru choked a woman?

I know, and I’m saying that’s not really much of a distinction when describing how a DEG album sounds. Arche is often described the same way.
-
I feel like people have been saying that about DEG albums since Uroboros though. Like what does “it sounds like all their past albums” mean when it comes to DEG?
-
Only problem was Die’s part in the chorus getting hard panned to the right and buried.

I mean at this point it wouldn’t be much of a leak.

is that kazu on bass, by the way?
And RES was already a budget RES!

Welp, Amazon says I’ll get my copy on Saturday at the earliest. Hoping it drops on iTunes on Wednesday.
Or... you know...
