@Forever alone @Keiyuh Please stop talking to yourself. We know you're both the same person. I'm sorry you talk about yourself like this, especially in front of an entire forum, and I hope you get some help. Take as much of a break as you need, we'll be waiting for you.

Can someone post a good produced/mixed/mastered song and a bad one and then point out where it's good and bad cuz I'd really like to understand what fans are talking about.

Really, yay thanks! It's just silly topics (like the one with good engrish songs and the one about ghostwriting) but if it doesn't bother people then I guess I will.

Kuro reacted to Seelentau in DIR EN GREY new single 落ちた事のある空 release summer 2020
Additionally, I was made aware that this is the first time the SE of INCONVENIENT IDEAL was released as a studio audio, so here's the whole song: http://www.mediafire.com/file/y03glewwlmikq0w/Inconvenient_Ideal_%2B_SE.mp3/file
It goes choir intro (0:00-1:46) -> first verse of INCONVENIENT IDEAL [UNPLUGGED] (1:47-3:11) -> INCONVENIENT IDEAL (3:12-end).

I don't have any but that's due to my cat killing them all.
Aside from this my finger ain't green but black. Most plants don't survive with me, too. xDD

No further details announced yet, but VENOM will be live limited and available from their upcoming oneman on 7/26.
They will also reveil their new look then.

Since they started doing lives again (after the corona break), they've been performing new songs only... So I guess we can expect another single soon? Or finally a (mini) album?

Edit: I can't go see them live until this oneman, so I don't know anything about the new songs yet.

Kuro reacted to Gesu in [POLL] What Are Your Thoughts on Jealousy in Intimate Relationships?
In my (admittedly limited) experience, jealousy is actually very unnatural for me in relationships, contrary to what a lot of others have said. What comes more naturally to me is being completely open and honest with people depending on how much I trust them and it makes sense that, if I'm that close to someone, I'm going to trust them a lot. I tend to be quite careful about what I do and don't say to certain people after some negative experiences (i.e. people using information about me to hurt/embarrass me) but when I feel I can say pretty much anything to them and I have feelings for them, I don't see how jealousy or anything akin to that could possibly worm its way into what me and the other person have. The only time I would ever feel anything close to that in this kind of situation is if I was with a friend/partner/whatever and suddenly, they invited loads of other people to hang out with us but that's less jealousy and more introversion. Granted, this may just be because I'm quite romantically unaffectionate but I guess that's just the way it goes for me. Same as what's already been said above, jealousy is absolutely a deal-breaker for me and if anyone thinks my life has to stop for them for whatever reason (unless it's serious, like they're in hospital or sth), then I'm just going to see them as either too insecure/mentally unwell to be worrying about other people/relationships or an egomaniac.

I have seen people mentioning this ITT already but I want to stress how your age when you started listening is really important. When you like something, you ask the question to yourself, "why do I like this?"

The answer will be vague when you are young, because this is a point where you are a fickle being, because you are discovering a lot of things in a short spam of time, you kinda want to try it out and also depending in a lot of other factors in your life (social circle and even your OWN appearance influences this) you will be more fickle than most for that young part of your life.

But there will come a point in your life where you will finally set you own "tier-list" of things that are important because you will have experienced enough things to know what you really like more. Of course this doesn't mean you are set for life in never discovering new things, but these things will not be that much different from what value the most by now.

When you get to this point in life, you will be able to answer the question "why do I like this?" more precisely. Great topic btw, always like seeing discussion about this

I really don't know about how many because I don't care about others. It's up to them what they like and if that changes I'm fine with it.

For me I can't imagine to ever stop.
I've been listening to almost VK bands exclusively for the past 14 years. Maybe it's because I've already been 25 when I got into VK. I've been going through a lot of stuff during my youth and that was pretty different. I've been evolving from mostly anything being on German charts in the mid 90s, moved through a three year long very addicitve time loving The Kelly Family (they've been very popular in China back then as far as I remember) and then moved on to rock music. Starting with bands like Silverchair, Bush, but also No Doubt, Alanis Morrissette, Foo Fighters and so on. I also got to Linkin Park and partly System of a down before I got to know MUCC as the first Japanese band, followed by Dir en grey and then lots more all the time (bands played in Germany and even Berlin a lot back then so I also had the chance to see quite some of them easily and I guess that also helped).
I never felt like getting back. Not really. A bit like listening to stuff from "my past" every other year but I've always been getting back to VK bands very soon.
I don't know what's to come some day but from how things have been throughout the past years I can't imagine to ever let go of this.

I won't get into Kpop anyway I guess, I'm really not fond of pop music in general. There's not a single bit of interest in me to even try them out.

I am Gen Y 😃.  I discover VK was young by a French Rock Magazine they talk about European, American and Visual Kei band because many bands who comes in France in 2000's and I see no one because I was young and I live a small town. In these you can buy a European Edition of visual kei cds for many bands but not all.

In this time , many bands haven't a Youtube Channel, and many MV uploads from TV or CDs.

In this time you had many shows , lives and MVs from Nico Nico Douga was free in start. After certain shows was not free and you had to pay. And I created a old account for free (maybe he's dead).

After the decline of Visual Kei in Europe , I buy CDs from Japan .

I am happy when labels and bands created their YouTube channels and they streaming their music on Spotify and Amazon.

I'm curious to see the age demographics of MH. I bet it will mostly be Millennials followed by Gen Z, then Gen X. I know that the definition of which generation starts when is murky but I choose only the most reliable source, Wikipedia! That being said, if your birth year intertwines with two Gens (like 1996) choose whichever one you identify most with.

I'm Gen Z. Honestly, going by all the revival lives and stuff in the VK scene, and the slow transition to digital mediums like having music on Spotify and doing lives and interviews on Youtube, I feel like I was born in the right generation, 100%. How about you?

    I'm either Gen Y or X but I decided to vote Y.

I never minded getting to know about VK when I was in the middle of my Twenties so I didn't have to ask my parents, if I were allowed to go to this live or that one (2006 - 2008 there have been so many bands coming to Germany that I've been to lives so often compared to now). I also didn't have to care about school and if tour dates might interfere with school stuff, especially when I had to go to other places than here so to me that was the perfect age. I don't look my age anyway so no one every thought I'd be that much older than the others. xDD
