youtube illegal uploaders are shit noodles, this is the most essential point. everyone knows the bands do have their own youtube accounts, but they still upload illegally, what are they thinking? brainless. if you wanna spread the sound, just promote them secretly. Japanese bands don't equal unsigned western bands, dat's it. hmm, about D.I.D. themselves, I still have highly hope on them, cuz I really appreciate their rerecordings. I started to listen to them since the very beginning of Para:noir, I couldn't forget my excitement about listening to "The Virtue" for the first time when the single was out there.

Finished Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number, and I am super impressed. What a mind fuck the entire game is. It's very identical to the first one, but they've managed to squeeze in a lot of new elements that makes it very fresh. And I love the difficulty level here. It's hard enough to fucking frustrate the living shit out of me, but not so hard that I ever thought of giving up. It's found a very fine balance here. The last act was pretty amazing. A bit too easy to be honest, which was my only disappointment with the game, but a lot of fun. Fucked up shit! Anyway, great game! 9/10

I used to love E+T - however, they are kind of like A9 was to me a few years ago - no real excitement from their music, but I would always listen to it with hope. Lets hope they pull a Phoenix with this new EP and surprise me. I still have hope.

Watched the four first episodes of season 3 last night too. It's so god damn good, man! Got meself no less than one fucking hour in bed last night, only 20-25 minutes of the asleep I'd assume. Black Sails is so good it's starting to fuck up my life. Impressive! I love it.

Just finished Black Sails, season 2. What the fuck am I supossed to say about this season? Season 1 was good, entertaining and interesting (much because it's pirate themed), but season 2 is simply one hell of a beast and gets better and better, more interesting and more fucking badass with every single episode. Jesus, that season finale was IMMENSEI It's everything you could possibly want from a season finale in a modern TV-series. Mindblowing! Itend to get up at 5:30am in the morning and thought I'd go to sleep early for a change (which is before 1am I guess, but I'd be damned surprised if Black Sails just didn't decide on stealing all my beauty sleep for tonight.

I wish Yuichi (ex-Shulla, ex-Viored, ex-AUBE) would be in a band again, not just a session member; I have waited long enough for him to do something after Viored :/ I wish a Shulla trve revival ffs. I wish Lamina would reunite again, because their compilation is probably one of my greatest treasure purchase this year. I wish megamasso would do quality music for a long time without any breakup or a member leaves. I wish D would get their shit together. I wish Kasumi would stop selling his shit via his fucking webshop. I wish Phantasmagoria would come back again, I really love their 2010 era. I wish Sou would get his ass and barefoot on a band again. I wish marco would do a better music for my ears and taste, because I really miss JIVE and Kirio. I wish Shounenki would not disband!

Band: BUCK-TICK Song: Sid Vicious ON THE BEACH Why?: Well I guess you could say this isn't exactly your typical B-T song, lol. First up, it has this laid-back but kinda old-school punk-rock vibe juxtaposed with modern electronics. Secondly, it's Imai (one of the guitarists) who's singing it for the most part. xD Plus, the live version always starts out with a kinda surf-y guitar solo that makes you feel like you're on the beach just chillin' out, then BAM! the song starts in similar high spirits. Imai's filtered and echoing vocals evoke a kinda drugged feeling, very spacey and zoned-out. The music just flows along fluidly with this feeling, exploding into a simplistic but effective group-singalong chorus. I love the heavy beats and base of the whole song too, it contrasts nicely with the guitars' and vocals' floaty atmosphere. Also, what I love about Imai is his voice: you can just tell that he's aware of his bad singing voice and doesn't give a crap about it, lol. That's why I'm disappointed most times I hear this song live, because they put a playback track on his vocals almost every time (at least on gigs filmed for DVDs)...oh well, it's good fun anyway. By the way, I like how B-T's love of Endo Michirou shines through a bit here, a line of the lyrics referencing one of his lyrics (B-T started out as a The Stalin cover band, so it's no big surprise).

Deluhi does need a few "anti-pop" pills. I know it's trendy for VK bands to do the whole hardcore verse/poppy chorus thing, but imo Deluhi was never good at it. I'd also suggest that their vocalist limit his use of English...but the Japanese think it sounds cool, so...
