Budget gamers use them for the real estate across 2-10 monitors, but 1-2 ultra-wide monitors will be a better option for them. Streamers need constant feed from multiple browsers, so more monitors aid in that too.

For work, it's necessary to have 2-3 monitors up so you can split windows for email, chats within the company, word/excel docs, and possibly remote into another PC (if you're in IT), so that way you don't have to minimize one window to open another window.

Personally I enjoy the way Apple's MacOS operates on a laptop (swipe the track pad left-right to switch between windows) because it's like having multiple monitors in one lol.

Lol I would @spockitty, but the space on my desk is killing me, and I have a LONG desk lol. My gf works in graphic design, so she needs a 1/2 of the desk for her work. Plus the gaps between screens is starting to annoy me, and an ultra-wide will fix that.

My apartment is OK for the price (600 sq ft), but I am OCD about placement of every personal item. I had to mount my 60'' TV to the wall because I did not want to deal with getting a big TV stand.

@spockitty Well they aren't new lol. I actually got them as a clearance item online from Best Buy (from $200 each down to $89), so I went with those not knowing they had no VESA mounting, ehh.

I'd get rid of them, but I just can't justify the good deal I got for them to sell them cheap lol. So I wait for a dirt cheap ultrawide until then.

I thought about doing a dual monitor setup for just my Apple laptop, with a nice docking station w/ all the peripherals I'd need, but it was more convenient to just build a small desktop with all the storage I needed. The price of all that other stuff broke my $1K budget so I said nah lol.

I have to deal with the stands provided for my dell monitors (no VESA compatibility) at home, and yes they are a HUGE eyesore in terms of real estate on my desk for me. I'm debating getting an ultra-wide during our holiday seasons coming up here, but I don't use my PC like I used to, so it might be a waste on me. Idk, I'll decide then.

LOL that monitor stand must really weigh down the center of your desk. It reminds me of those kids that buy a table from IKEA and then don't realize the materials aren't reinforced resulting in mad sag after a few months. I have a dual monitor stand in one corner of my desk at work, with a single monitor stand on the opposite corner, that way the stress is not in the center.

LOL I have 3 at work myself and it does feel like a lot sometimes, but then I come home to my 2 monitor setup and wish I had an ultrawide instead.

You make that same statement in a group of them, and suddenly you're shun or they think less of you because you didn't get "the real experience" 😒

Granted, some dubbed versions like sailor moon and related had a lot change in their story (cousins instead of lovers, androgynous character were changed to straight men/women) that these weebots could use to drive their point home, but that was back then and tv corps had more control over that than say Adult Swim a decade later that made it their own.

This is why I hate/can't understand severe weebism.

I agree the dubs on some shows are great, and some are better in original Japanese for the expression in their voices making that much of a difference, but sometimes dubbed is necessary for those who can't follow subtitles/reading is hard for them.

It's too cringe for me to hear weebs say "dubs are horrible, subs are better", when you can't even see the otherside, and sometimes, I wonder if it's even them talking like an idiot.
