hmm this made me lol, just cuz growing up with crappy downloading methods meant that I was content with having the one song I heard, without looking into it and realizing it was from an entire album.
now you have the option and awareness to get the whole album cuz that’s the online web’s job and people still will just get the one song lol.

Most tend to do this as a coping mechanism for slipping up and being put in their place.
Very hard to elaborate on but these types of people believe that they would never get fired/reprimanded/accused by their shitty actions, let alone believe that someone would actually go to HR about it, or for it to gain traction whatsoever.
Dude knew it was a possibility, shrugged it off denying that anyone would dare say anything cuz he's a badass/untouchable, and well, here we are lol. Dude is having a hard time processing he got rekt.
My question is how the fuck he knew it was you? I thought this stuff was anonymous.

Always a tricky one when it comes to things like this.
Part of making decisions is accepting that it can make things better, or worse. You may see it (at least you should have seen this coming, no?) as a worst case thing, but later you may realize that it was a better decision overall, otherwise why think about reporting it in the first place?
Not sure what they were written up times before for (or this time), but if you had not done it, someone else would have. Keep that in mind.

Well the company likely pays the bill for extra monitors, so why not right?
Working in customer service/help desk REQUIRES more than 1 monitor, because sometimes your time IS money, and shaving 2-3 seconds off each of the 30+ requests to finish your quota for the day/week is worth it.
