I was recently on meetup.com in a bid to get out the damn house and socialise but the groups look boring and OF COURSE there aren't any VK groups. It's a disgrace XD 
 
Any fellow UK dwellers here? Anyone fancy some kind of meetup/outing thing to meet new people, make new friends, and all that jazz? (jazz may or may not be included). I'm not great at this kind of thing but I thought it might be a fun idea

You ever just feel sick of looking at your computer or phone screen, wanna just leave it all and live it out in some cabin in the woods near a town and just garden, work on personal projects, and grow old with a pet?
 
Yeah, me too.

Honestly I combine this and the repetitiveness of work/being predictable itself to be my major factors. Any change in my routine, like coming in to work an hour later while I go for a coffee or take the scenic route that I never have before to see the mountain landscape REALLY does a lot for me here in CO. Even something as spontaneous as taking a personal day off to sleep is a great change of pace lol.
 
I now understand why recreational activities like going to the beach, camping/hiking in the mountains, or even traveling somewhere else to get away are still a thing, and I've never done most of those things due to being a shut-in.
 
I can barely fathom the idea that kids of today are being conditioned to believe these things are not necessary (i.e. wilderness and exploration) and online stuff are all you need in life, so why do all those things when you can watch someone else do those things? Yeeesh, I've sure changed a lot in these last few years lol.

My ex boyfriend hated VK and had no interest in music what so ever, so whenever I was working on sheetmusic or practicing the violin he didn't bother to have a look/listen to what I was working for hours on and instead played LoL.
Also, I was only allowed to like Monyo from Babykingdom because he isn't conventionally attractive, meanwhile he kept bitching about my petite body and tomboy-ish personality, we met at an anime convention both cosplaying a dude, the same dude even.
Not to mention, he watched a lot of porn and somehow was very up-to-date with Belle Delphine-like things (and the girl herself), but I wasn't allowed to check Twitter and look at pictures of bands every once in a while, because that made him feel like I didn't like him enough. :)))))))))))))

I guess here's my unpopular opinion: DEG are unlikeable businessmen who made a career out of floating with the tide. Glossy Kuroyume tribute act -> borderline-vk with industrial metal influences -> nu-metal -> nondescript 00s wristcutter rock -> djent/core crap (we are here). Oh wait, there are some meandering melodic instrumental sections and lots of falsettos from Kyo, so it's actually avant-garde djent/core crap!
 
Their best moments nowadays are those brief transition periods where they slightly withdraw from their latest Western influences or incorporate them more lightly more into their own sound, which is why Uroboros feels so sincere compared to what came after it.
 
If they ever "evolve" in a way that doesn't involve scavenging riffs from some dead/dying tribal tattoo 'metal' subgenre that metalheads don't even like, remind me to eat my shoe.

I love "恋して☆DISCORD". It is one of the songs that always vibrate in my head at any time.

Fucking hell the first disc fucking slaps. Every song is insane, my favorite being the third track. Overall I like these songs more than Rijin

I'm mildly traumatized the vocalisté thought those two vile acapellas needed an individual CD to maintain ~the purity of the listening experience~ instead of opting to cut them to 45 sec intro/outro SEs fading into white noise, or something, like, more humble than what they released.
