Watched the new HULU movie Books of Blood loosely based on some of Clive Barker's writing. I was preparing myself for disappointment but... it was actually good??? I enjoyed it at least, almost all the way through. There was some dumb stuff in it (some of the "connections" between the stories were kinda forced/lame) but otherwise I liked the individiual stories they presented. This sort of format is ripe for sequels so I hope that 1. they'll make one, 2. when they do, they won't fuck it up. Solid stuff.

DOBE has announced on their official site that the band will disband after their show on 2020/11/19.
 
The members wrote lengthy comments which can be read here. Sounds like it was a mixture of lack of progress and some members half-assing it basically.
 
I appreciated these guys, they were pretty fun. Too bad this had to happen. I assume we can expect everyone except maybe the vocalist (who said he's gonna quit doing music altogether if I understood it right) turn up in some new bands in the future, hopefully.

So here's the general consensus:
Sex on the beach is a bop Deliheru Boys! Deliheru Girls! is great good job Ao Oto Sex 2020 is a disappointment 原色エレガント is funky fresh さかしま single worst cali gari song ever and I hope to never hear it again Did they change Blue Film at all??

Yeah, that random single they dropped out of nowhere a decade ago was actually pretty solid, so I somewhat have faith in them being able to churn out some rockin' tunes (even if none of the members' solo or side-endeavours are my thing at all). Keeping fingers firmly crossed.

My last concert this year was Crossfaith in Hydrozagadka venue in Warsaw. February to be specific, before covid broke. And probably, the last one in 2020 😔 But I'll never forget the awesomeness and waiting an hour to have photo with Kenta and Teru! 🤩

Most likely need someone living in Japan to act as an agent for payment + address. 
Also, if you are like me, you will probably have to go by your last name only lmao they only allow 10 characters for the name.

@carddass Yeah, in the meantime they put up an actual text of it on the website, so I was able to understand it better. But you got it more or less.
 
Apparently the person who gets to attend (who will be chosen by lottery if multiple ppl sign up for the gig) will:
- get those gifts you mentioned
- optionally be able to sit down on a "premium sofa" while watching
- be able to sing along to the gig via their own microphone
- have a "dinner show" (i.e. eat while the band plays), which means the members will buy bento at a convenience store for the participant, lol
- be able to request songs from the band, and also an encore
- be able to record parts of the show
- get a special commemorative photo of the show
- get a Blu-ray recording of the show
- be mentioned in the booklet of the new CD coming in 2021
- be able to hear a few songs from the new CD coming in 2021 (at least of what is currently available because the CD is still being recorded)

Kinda like doomy atmospheric black metal, but done in a chiptune-like arrangement? Sort of. Pretty cool mood.

I am convinced this is some elaborate trolling, lol. I tried to watch the movie last night, but gave up a bit after halftime, it just wasn't doing anything for me. I skipped into it for a few minutes afterwards but it was just all so lame-looking and weak... Also, seemed very much jumpscare-heavy, which I absolutely hate. Guess this just wasn't for me.
